Maytronics does not provide support
I'v bought a Maytronics Dolphin Seamaster in Spain in June 2023. When the machine works it does a good job however in these two years it has broken down twice. The first time I brought it back to Leroy Merlin and it took aprox. 6 weeks before it was returned without any specific thing done to it.

Now it has broken for the second time in August. The company responsible for repairing the machine does NOT communicate at all. When I call them they are now waiting for spare parts (a motor and a cable for more then 8 weeks). Again not a word about it to me as a customer.

When I ask Maytronic for help they answering. Fairly quick I must say. However they REFUSE to help. I have contacted them several times and although I spend more than 1100 EUROs on the machine apparently that is not enough money for them to help a customer.

Therefore my advice... Although the machine does a good job a would go for a Zodiac or a Beatbot if you're still in a position to choose.

Robot good, service extremely poor by this company.

DO NDO NOT BUY – Warranty Doesn’t Help If the Product Keeps Failing

Dolphin Explorer E20 worked OK for about 1.5 years, then stopped moving. I sent it by warranty to Maytronics in February. They replaced the motor and some parts, and sent back in 3 weeks. By August, different issue - it would run for 15–30 min before stopping. I sent it back. A month later, I got it with another motor replacement but the same problem. Maytronics allowed to send it in 3rd time. After 3 weeks, was returned saying “no issues found” This whole process left me without functioning pool vac for months, forcing to clean manually during peak algae season and hundreds of dollars on chemicals.

Maytronics needs a Class Action Lawsuit…

I returned a Dolphin power supply unit to Maytronics in February. It took several many emails and phone messages over MONTHS to finally get an email response. Then they asked for the serial number of the Returned power supply unit! I couldn't give them that because they HAD it! Then the wanted the serial number of the vacuum unit and I gave them that information. At least another month elapsed. I contacted the Better Business Bureau And the Atlanta, Georgia Attorney General's Office where their US Headquarters is located. Because of the summer months without any action from Maytronics, I had to purchase another power supply unit and of course from Maytronics because they have a monopoly which is another reason they can treat customers like Shit. Then they said too much time had elapsed for the warranty! Of course too much time elapsed, because they failed to acknowledge receipt of the returned unit and numerous emails from me. Then they said because I purchased it from Amazon there was NO warranty. This was also bullshit because they represent their products to be of high value regardless of where you purchase them. After getting the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's Office in Atlanta watching this disgusting effort by Maytronics to screw the customer in order to save $230 they appeared to develop half a conscience. First they insisted on replacing the power supply unit and said that was all they could do. They were so CHEAP they were trying to save $230!!! I had to forward a receipt proving I had purchased another power supply unit before they would agree to reimburse me!!! However I spent the ENTIRE summer months mostly without a vacuum system and subsequently have pool surface damage which likely will require draining and resurfacing the 33,000 gallon pool. I'm getting an estimate for that. This disgusting company needs a class action lawsuit. I also threatened to send a report of this company's response to every MBA program in the United States, starting with The Wharton School of Business before they agreed this week to refund me $230.

BEWARE

Same as everyone else on here. They are the worst company around. Machines break. Warrantys are not honored bc you can’t speak to anyone. I all most feel like we have a lawsuit here…???

Maytronics customer support is non…

Maytronics customer support is non existent. Tried calling 3 times and hungup after an hour at each attempt. I tried leaving a phone number for call back; that was a waste of time. Left a voice message: no call back. Went to my local poor store where Maytronics products are sold and they could not assist. Visted the Duluth location, listed on their website, and it was closed. I love my machine, but I need help with it. Non responsive support is having me consider buying another competitive product because what good is their product when you can get no response?

Do not purchase anything from Maytronics

If there were Zero star review that would be the correct review.
There is no customer service, no means to return, no one answers the phone, recent 45 minute live agent chat went no where because of “time constraints”
Their website should include a buyer beware warning.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service! that's the right word and says it all. I have been trying to contact them for 2 months to get status on my replacement robot pool vacuum power supply, still no reply. Their phones are always busy with an option call back- When you select this option to call back - no one bother calling me back.

No one will answer the phone I waited 30 mins for someone to answer never happened so I chose the call back offer didn’t help much still trying to get in touch with someone I guess I will stay away from maytronic products

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible customer Service. They do not respond to emails or calls, absolutely terrrible service support. We actually liked the product but now that we need service on it. We are out of luck.

Doesnt Stand Behind Work, No Support

A warranty motor replacement (at Maytronics direction) by a dealer lead to the robot getting stuck on its side or back. Dealer got no response after repeated attempts and then was told to tell me to sent it to them at my cost for them to quote a fix.

Awful customer service and product quality

I couldn't agree more with the negative customer service reviews. instead of helping me troubleshoot my problem was to have me ship it back at my own expense along with the power transformer. A little digging online allowed me to diagnose it as a bad swivel on the cord. But now, despite calls and emails, I can't get a response from them. Thanks goodness I kept my old Tiger Shark vacuum that has never had any material problems.

I bought a Dolphin Nautilus 2 years ago…

I bought a Dolphin Nautilus 2 years ago and it stopped working. I’ve call the service line 4 times and waited over an hour with no response. They ask if you’d like a called back with no response. I also put it 2 service claims with no responses. This has been a process of 3 weeks. This company is a complete joke with customer service.

My Dolphin has been in repair with pinch a penny a repair representative of maytronics since April 2025. Pinch a penny claims that maytronics has not sent the repair parts. I called maytronics which claims pinch a penny hasn’t ordered any parts even though pinch a penny gave me a claim number. This is outrageous pool season will be over soon and I will have to continue paying a pool company to come out and continue vacuuming my pool. Because I spent close to $1500 on a pool vacuum that was going yo sit in a repair center all summer. Word of advice stay away from any maytronics device worse company ever .

Spend a little extra and buy local this company will not have ur back when u need them

Honestly I was hoping everyone was lying and It would be different for me, guess what I’m not special. Hope my lesson helps someone. Stay away from poolbot or any company that use maytronics. They don’t answer the phones at all wait on hold every time for three hours and finally just hang up. After trying for weeks it was deemed my computer brain was fried and they would ship me a new one. I waited 6 weeks and kept on calling no one to speak to. Finally 6 week with my pool looking crazy from all the rain I took the day from work to sit in the phone that’s when I was told there’s a shipping label created for my product. At this point when or if the computer gets here I’m going to sell it and purchase another one from my local pool store- the biggest $1500 mistake I ever made… this company is a disgrace

Wow - garbage company

Wow! Talk about a company that couldn't care less about their customers! Like som many reviews, reaching or speaking to a customer agent Maytronnics is impossible. If you're considering buying a Maytronics product, on this basis alone I would strongly advise to not! Their promise of "we can't wait to talk to you" is our BS. I've left call back messages, text messages, live chat messages and been kept on hold endlessly and not once have I reached anyone. Horrible! If you enjoy pain, buy Maytronics!

Maytronics Terrible Customer Service

There is simply no way to get in touch with anyone from Maytronics. I was fortunate that ONE time, I connected via chat and received a return authorization for my less than 1 year old Dolphin Robot. Now that they’ve had it 3 weeks, I can’t get in touch with anyone for an update.

Impossible to get in touch with

Impossible to get in touch with. I don't typically write reviews, but I have tried multiple calls and multiple chats, and it is impossible to get in touch with anyone from Maytronics. To pay hundreds of dollars for a product and then not be able to talk to them about problems is incredibly frustrating.

my power box is under warranty and it…

my power box is under warranty and it broke down.
the pinch a penny store that I bought it from, refuses to replace it and say that I have to wait for maytronics to ship it instead. It has been 10 days and still didn't get it.
This is unacceptable and wors customer service ever bot from pinch a penny in Baton Rouge LA and Maytronics, wherever the hell they are located, as you can't even get a phone number for them.
