Marketdata excellent data provider
Marketdata is very good providing much needed data for a an affordable price. I believe there is still ongoing work with API's and bringing more data points on the way but it is definitely a great start and having OHLCV and OPRA data available at this price point is great. Keep up the good work. Their customer service is also impeccable, any request via tickets is answered within the hour.

Valuable service
Valuable service. I appreciate the google sheets integration. I get a lot of errors and have to refresh the sheet often to keep it working. Better than having to track manually but would appreciate a more stable feed.

Install was easy, working very well. Quotes are bit delayed, but it is clearly mentioned.

Some wrong data
In general, I like this service a lot but there is a number of issues. There are duplicate days in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023 that aren't trading days, so it makes it difficult to line up with Google Finance (which is what the extension is modeled after). There is also data that is wrong for 2008, 2009, and 2010 and has to be manually corrected.
Overall they have been responsive to correct errors in the past, but these errors persist. If the data was more reliable, it would be 5 stars from me

Very unclear how to use
Very unclear how to use. Instructions are horrible. But once it is set up, it works very well. The only downside is the inability to have continuous, streaming, real time data, but understand that is due to some Google issue. I appreciate the suggestion of using the embedded Googlefinance function to make it automatically pull the data every 2 minutes. It would be great to have some mechanism to force that function to recalculate at whatever rate desired. Two minutes is too long.
Other than that, the functionality is very good. Just have to hunt around to find how it works. So, if there is a way to force the data refresh to 15 seconds instead of 2 minutes, that would be great.

Customer service and features
Well, your customers support before I got the license was great. Since I got the license I sent few email, no answer.
The package is good , however there are few annoying issues like the auto refresh of Google sheets data

Easy to use

I had good experience with a new subscription
I had good experience with the assistance provided. In order to solve a problem I ended up subscribing to a new 1 year subscription. Management kindly agreed to add to my new subscription the remaining time from my older subscription. That was fair. Thanks again for the help.

Good integration with Google sheets
Good integration with Google sheets.
Able to access historical options contract prices.
Missing an easy way to lookup the option chain for historical option prices in Google sheets. Have to guess at the option strikes and lookup the expiration dates to assemble a valid symbol.
Large (200+) data requests from Sheets results in several with errors that have to be resubmitted to get a valid result.
Still a good product and value for the money.
