They curate top quality goods and are very reliable store for highest craftsmanship.They have a great eye for design as well.

They offer very nice products via their online shop. However, if you have the chance and there's a physical store close to you, I suggest you go there instead.

Recently, I ordered a Christmas present via their online shop. They gave the promise that everything ordered until the 20th of December will arrive before Christmas Eve. However, the gift never made it for Christmas. It was a small gift, the size of a letter. From the order confirmation on, the whole process on their end became in-transparent. There was no shipping notice or anything. Then, the gift arrived in the afternoon of the 28th.

Upon asking their customer service why they give delivery promises they can't meet, Manufactum responded that the delivery is not in their hands. But why then give such a promise?

Of course, the customer service offered refund. But that's not even the point. In my opinion, they shouldn't bait customers with a promise they know they don't have so much influence on.

I placed an order several weeks ago for an item that was shown to be in stock and would be delivered in 2-3 days. The item did not arrive in time for my partners birthday and when I called I was assured the item would arrive at the end of November. It is now 4 weeks later and after no contact from Manufactum, I wrote asking to cancel the order entirely. Instead of responding appropriately with a note confirming my wishes to cancel, I received a message that the item would be dispatched at the end of December. I really can't believe how poorly the situation has been handled.

Terrible experience. Ordeered a skirt a month ago and still not delivered. Send email but no answer. Jus gave them a call and a very rude lady refused to speak english and ended the call abrupt. Don't ever buy stuff here.....

Fast and efficient service and they give you time to pay the bill. Returns have all been without question.

There was a small inconsistency in a notebook I had bought compared to how it was described on the website, and I wrote Manufactum an e-mail mentioning it, just as a heads up in case they needed to speak to their manufacturer or update their website. Manufactum sent me an entirely new notebook without the defect, which I found very professional and the kind of service that is almost nonexistent nowadays.

While Manufactum carries scores of high-priced luxury items out of the reach of the common person, I am really impressed by their selection of well-made, sustainable products that are actually very affordable in ratio to their quality. The India Paper journals/Dünndruckpaper Notizheft, hand-machine looped socks and a few other gems all sell for the same price as name-brand products, while being made in Germany or Europe instead of East Asia, and of far higher quality. At another store, these items would sell for double or triple the price.

I hope that Manufactum continues to offer this quality of service and that they don't go the way of so many modern businesses telling customers, "Too bad, so sad." I also hope they maintain (and even expand) their offerings of reasonably priced, quality sustainable goods, and don't move to marketing only to a wealthier clientele.

Prices are reasonable but the lead time!!!
In the time that I received the package form Manufactum, I received packages from the US, ordered later than at Manufactum, sooner than the package from Manufactum.
This is my reason not to place any orders anymore.

Excellent unique products, excellent service!! I have bought recently Riess enamel pans produced for Manufactum. They are real chic pieces combined with Riess quality. Shipping was also ok, customer service was great!

Poor delivery details given to delivery company and as there was no reply from customer service I personally had to track down the product.
Packaging was poor and item damaged on collection(this was for a Christmas present).
I tried to return the product to Bedford UK but the delivery company was unable to leave the return, contacted Germany on several occasions via email and phone, sent photos and in return promised a refund. This has been going on since the first week of January, still waiting !!!
A COMPLETE UTTER WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Do not shop, have had the money leave my account but no communication or package turn up... Going to try and resolve through bank but save yourself the trouble. Disgusting really.

Never received my package, after nearly 4 months and a dozen E-mails, saying it would arrive within the next few days, do not shop there.

Disgusting customer service.
Ordered two pots in summer. One arrived broken. Sent several emails and left voicemails but no one answered.
I went through PayPal resolution centre and a replacement eventually turned up.
6 months later and I’ve received a threatening letter demanding I pay for the replacement! They claim this is the 3rd reminder (it’s not, it’s the first and only reminder) and I have 2 weeks to pay or they will pass me to the debt collectors!
Absolute disgrace. I’ve never been threatened with debt collectors in my life!
Once again no reply on the phone and I’m not expecting a reply via email.
Don’t buy from here. Customer service is none existent.

No service for British customers. I have not seen one other company in the EU have to do this. They don't even mention covid-19, just brexit.

Bought a really expensive pullover. Within one season holes dropped in. In spite of many emails I got no answer at all.

I wish I bought my clothes at a cheap shop.

Since writing the review below, I have been refunded for shipping costs although it took nearly a month without communication. Only fair to add this to review.
