I have travelled extensively across India over the past 32 years as a travel professional, always searching for unique heritage properties that offer not just accommodation, but memorable experiences. During one of my visits to the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, I had the pleasure of staying at Mandawa Kothi Heritage Hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations.

The property is tastefully restored, offering elegant rooms, peaceful gardens, a lovely swimming pool, and a beautiful rooftop where guests can enjoy breath-taking sunsets over the historic town of Mandawa.
The hotel is ideal for couples, small families, and groups of friends looking for a peaceful and authentic Rajasthan experience. Every corner of the property has been thoughtfully designed, combining traditional heritage with modern comfort.
The food was another highlight of our stay. Freshly prepared, delicious, and full of authentic Rajasthani flavours, every meal felt like home. The team was always happy to accommodate special dietary requests, making every dining experience enjoyable.

Mandawa kothi is a historic place beautifully designed and recreated with an internal aura that mesmerises you and provides a atmosphere of tranquility for a family. The sitting area at the pool is an unforgettable experience for the whole family specially at night. Rooms are peaceful relaxing and comfortable.

Great place to stay. These people know in-depth history and culture of Shekhawati. Glad to have quality time here. Must visit.

It is an old business man’s house renovated beautifully. The location is wonderful and to see the Sun sat from roof top is amazing with the view of old town. The enterior is simple and beautiful. People working there are good and friendly.

The stay was amazing, being a new property which has recently opened, they have managed everything well.
The food was good too with a different effect in it.

Being travel solo to receive such a welcome and treatment was a great feel for me. Another great experience to see hot people cook food in the hotels, it was so interesting to see and food was like cook in Indian homes. Beautifully decorated in a very simple way but so close to your heart and it gives you soothing feel. The common sitting area was so beautiful but to have Indian classical music in the background makes the evening magical.
I would say it is not a hotel, it’s just an experience, location is in the center so witness sun sat is again a wonderful experience from roof top.
Thanks to all the team to give a such experience and love to come back again with my parents soon…
