I'd like to share my experience at Mamas & Papas Charlton. We went on a saturday evening and had a wonderful experience with Naomi, who was running the store on her own (for most of the day too).

We went with the intention of trying out some pushchairs and finding out what the different options were. Naomi was excellent at explaining the different options, understanding what we liked and helping us refine our choice in a logical manner. Most impressively, Naomi gave us a very personal experience, while still managing other customers and having already worked the whole day with very little help.
We also saw how she helped other customers with similar ease and familiarity and helped an expectant mum who was very anxious and not sure where to start.

We were really happy with our purchase and I hope M&P management can recognise the excellent work that Naomi is doing in the Charlton store and hope that this feedback can be passed onto her manager directly.

We will be back thanks to Naomi.

Shoreham store is incredible however those poor girls have to deal with us because Mamas and Papas refuse to move away from DHL who do not deliver on time or turn up at all!

Even staff confirmed they have constant issues with DHL. Choose a different courier

We had a fantastic experience in store with Molly who was so informative and helpful to us newbie parents. We were a bit lost with everything but Molly made us feel at ease and was so good at explaining everything at our level- she’s extremely knowledgeable.

We booked an appointment for Mamas & Papas in the Next Store in Leicester Highcross and were looked after by Gurjot. It was the best experience start to finish we could have asked for. We’re having our first baby so everything feels very overwhelming, but she put our mind at ease about so much!! She was so helpful, so lovely and knowledgeable, and wasn’t pushy or trying to sell anything, she just wanted to listen to us and our routines, and help us make the best decisions for us. She gave us invaluable advice about so much. We got everything we came in for and more, and already feel very comfortable using the products! We can’t see why we would shop elsewhere for anything baby related, and will 100% be going back into the store. Thank you Gurjot! You are a star!! Mia and Tom x

Lorraine helped me during my mammas and pappas 1-1 appointment! She had a great knowledge of all the products was incredibly kind and reassuring!

So so disappointed. Was gifted a beautiful blanket from mamas and papas as part of my baby shower. Once this was opened ready to be washed, after the birth of my son. It was faulty and has a discoloured line down it. Customer service via Facebook seem unwilling to help as I can’t provide proof of purchase for a gift and the person who gifted it no longer has the receipt. I can’t take this to the store as I have a newborn and don’t need to make an unnecessary journey. Not what I expected from a much loved brand. So upset that this is my first experience as a parent with this company.

I placed an order for click and collect to be collected from the Brent Cross store and got email same day to say it was ready which was nice! However it was today my Husband went to collect it and the order was not ready. The staff went around taking the items off the shelf whilst my husband waited and he even got asked what colours did we order for our items! I mean, we placed an order, you look at the order as you are fulfilling it not to mention it should have been ready anyway!! Later I got told the staff member was on her telephone and the atmosphere when you walk in is not professional. When we have been in before to browse as was pregnant, staff just chatting. It took a long time before shouting out to us if we needed any help, they did not even walk to us to speak. Baring in mind we are first time parents to be, we had no idea on travel systems and some genuine help and advice would have been nice. Customer service has gone downhill in some retail stores more so this Mamas and Papas in Brent Cross.

We had a superb experience with the wonderful Cynthia at Next Shoreham. She was very patient as she helped us try different models in not one but two cars (either end of the car park!).

We really appreciated the time Cynthia gave us and her colleagues were also really kind and full of advice, particularly regarding the vegan aspect of our new wheels.

We are grandparents wanting to buy a car seat, Gail and Leighton took the trouble to fully understand our situation (2 grandchildren, a newborn and a 1 year old) and what we needed. They raised things we hadn’t thought of, researched options and prices and could not have been more helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Booked a buying for baby session and was show around the products and the store by Stella. It was a great experience - no pushy sales tactics and just a good conversation about our needs and wants. The store had a good range of products and I would feel comfortable buying from there. A positive experience all round.

I was served today by Cara at the Giltbrook store in Nottingham. I hadn’t booked an appointment but when asked questions, she was very knowledgable and informative with all the products and demonstrations. I purchased a pram bundle for our newest arrival in November and Cara was on hand to explain all the payment options too. Great experience 👍🏻

We had our Buying 4 Baby appointment today at Mamas & Papas in Martlesham and we were served by Lily. She was amazing, so knowledgable and very easy to talk to! This is our first baby so we were very unsure what we needed or wanted! Lily helped narrow down our choices and listened to what things we were looking for in our travel system. We came away so relaxed and confident in our purchases, and that was all down to how helpful Lily was! It was really busy in the store and there were only 2 members of staff, and they both managed the flow whilst remaining focused on their appointments. I hope she gets recognised for her really hard work and commitment to her job she is an asset to Mamas & Papas!

We had a fantastic experience with Rebecca at the Meadowhall Mamas and Papas. We came for a Buying for Baby appointment with only a vague idea of what we were looking for. We knew we wanted practical, functional baby equipment and weren't too concerned about style. We originally thought we'd just buy a car seat and perhaps come back for a coordinating travel system later.

Rebecca was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. She quickly helped us narrow down the options within our budget and explained which features would suit our needs best. She also went out of her way to find answers to the questions we had, such as checking compatibility between different products and explaining how long our baby could safely use each car seat. As first-time parents, we really appreciated having someone who took the time to explain everything without making us feel silly.

She also personalised the offers available to us and even price matched a competitor's promotion, meaning we ended up getting an amazing deal on a travel system. Thanks to her help, we felt confident enough to buy it that day rather than waiting.

At no point did we feel rushed or like we were being "sold to". Instead, Rebecca made us feel supported and confident that we were making the right decision for our baby. We couldn't have asked for better service and would highly recommend asking for Rebecca if you're shopping for baby equipment.

Kendal at the Gateshead store was absolutely brilliant in helping us decide on the type of pram we needed for our son, who is due in December. As first-time parents, we were pretty clueless, wandering around the store trying to find the best option for us and staring blankly at all the different bundles available.

Kendal was so knowledgeable about all of the different products in store and explained everything to us clearly. She completely understood how overwhelming buying for a baby can be. She also had such a friendly and warm personality, which totally put us at ease when everything initially felt quite daunting.

We will definitely be purchasing our pram bundle from Mamas and Papas, and we can’t thank Kendal enough for all of her help the other day.

We had a booked in store appointment today at Brent Cross with Sahar. As first time parents, Sahar was so friendly and kind, also very informative and was able to give us all the information we needed to assist with our decision on travel system. You made our experience so pleasant so thank you!

We had a Baby Booking appointment at Mamas & Papas Swindon with Laura, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. We were even offered bottles of water, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Laura was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We came in with very little knowledge of prams or baby equipment and were complete novices when it came to knowing what we wanted. She listened carefully to what we needed, took the time to understand our lifestyle and what we were looking for, and guided us through all of the different options without ever making us feel overwhelmed.

Laura talked us through the different prams, nursery furniture and all of the other baby essentials we’ll need, explaining everything in a clear, informative and easy-to-understand way. She demonstrated exactly how the prams worked, then encouraged us to fold, lift and try them ourselves so we could make sure they were the right fit for us. This hands-on approach made such a difference and gave us the confidence to make an informed decision.

Laura answered every question we had with patience and expertise. At no point did we feel pressured into buying anything. Instead, she gave us honest, practical advice about what was genuinely essential, which we really appreciated.

Our appointment lasted around an hour and a half, and throughout the appointment we never once felt rushed. Laura was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and genuinely passionate about helping us. She turned what could have been a really overwhelming experience into something exciting, enjoyable and memorable.

Thank you, Laura, for making our baby shopping experience such a positive one. We honestly can’t thank you enough for all your help and guidance. We left feeling so much more confident and informed, and we would highly recommend booking an appointment with Laura if you’re expecting a baby – she’s fantastic!

Had our buying for baby appointment today, had to wait a little while for Romy to be free as the store was busy but worth the wait. Came in feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what we needed, was so beneficial to book the time to talk through our list we set up ahead of time and she had reviewed before our meeting to help guide us through what we thought we wanted or liked and what we actually needed.

Left feeling much more organised and really appreciated that Romy had recently been through this journey and used many items we had looked at, so we benefited from her sharing her real life experience and recommendations. 100% recommend booking the appointment, didn't feel pressured to buy anything and the whole process was flexible and supportive. The vouchers are also a great benefit and Romy helped us maximise hitting the next threshold which was only £30 away as we had lost track.

Knowledgable and helpful

Emily at the Chelmer Village shopping centre was very helpful when I went in looking for a cotbed set. She explained the different options and shared her knowledge with me and we are very happy with our purchase.

We went to Mamas & Papas in Next at Ventura Retail park, Tamworth and Kim was on hand to help! She was amazing from start to finish and answered all the questions we had as first time parents! Strongly recommend to visit this store, all the staff were welcoming and helpful 😁
