Ordered a china mug which arrived quickly but in completely inadequate packaging so was smashed to pieces. The website has no system for requesting a return and refund. I contacted them on their online contact form and by email and had no response. The listed telephone number is invalid. Do not order from this company!

This is very dodgy company! Order has not been fulfilled. Emailed twice, no reply. Phone number does not exist. Before ordering try this test - ring the phone number - not connected, send a message on their contact page and all you will receive is an automated receipt.

ordered 4 mugs - packed in a box for 6 so lots of space which caused broken handle on 1 mug.

Ordered a ceramic gift and it arrived utterly smashed to pieces. As soon as I received the package, I could tell there was smashed ceramics inside ... not just chipped, utterly smashed! Emailed them numerous times and sent photos and they never bothered to reply and I'm out of pocket £20 plus delivery. Awful company.

I thought I would start a Trustpilot page for this company as I had a great experience with them recently, but almost never purchased from them in the first place. Whilst looking on Pinterest, I came across their stunning afternoon tea set items. The link led me to the Maison Home UK website, but I couldn't find any reviews for the company and the social media profiles linked seemed fairly quiet. Only after doing a bit of research did I locate the personal profile of the designer of the items, Ashley Thomas (@ashleythomasdesign) and she had tagged Maison Home UK in her photos. After feeling fairly confident the website was legitimate, I placed my first order. Later that evening, my fiancé said he would purchase some more items for me too, meaning I had two orders under my name but both with separate billing details. The next day, I was contacted by a lady from the company who was absolutely lovely and wanted to double check that I had meant to place two orders before sending them out as the orders were fairly similar. I assured her the orders were correct and she advised me they would be posted out. Although my packages were both free delivery as they were over £30, I was very pleased and surprised to receive them so quickly and see that they had been sent out next day delivery at no extra charge to myself! They were well packaged and marked as fragile so they arrived in perfect condition. I will be placing more orders in the coming weeks to grow my collection!

Overall, I was very pleased with the quick correspondence from Maison Home UK and the friendliness and professionalism of their staff member, as well as their organisation and carefulness when taking it upon themselves to double check my order with me. Then they went above and beyond in terms of delivery. Maison Home UK are a company who truly care about looking after their customers and going the extra mile. Thank you Maison Home UK.
