My account no longer shows as premium, even though I made the annual payment on March 4, 2026.

I was a Freepik customer for nearly **eight years**, and during that time I rarely needed to contact customer support because the service simply worked. On the few occasions I did need assistance, I always received a helpful response within about 24 hours.
Unfortunately, my experience since the transition to Magnific has been the complete opposite.
Customer support has been slow, incomplete, and frustrating. I've had to contact support multiple times, including regarding emails stating that my account was suspended—even though it wasn't. Getting clear answers has been difficult, and responses often fail to address the actual questions being asked.
My biggest concern has been the credit system. My account went from **150k credits to 32k credits in a single day after creating only two videos**. I repeatedly asked for an explanation of how the credits were calculated and consumed but was unable to get an answer for an entire year, only received a report for 1 past month. As someone who used Freepik extensively for years without ever running into these kinds of issues, this was both surprising and disappointing.
The website navigation is also far less intuitive than what I had become accustomed to, making the overall experience more cumbersome.
I'm not a new user learning the platform—I used Freepik on a daily basis for years before the transition. Based on my experience so far, the move to Magnific has been a significant step backward in both customer support and user experience.
My prepaid subscription runs through February 2027, but unless there are substantial improvements in transparency, customer support, and usability, I do not plan to renew and will be looking for another provider.
I sincerely hope Magnific takes customer feedback seriously, because there is tremendous potential here. At present, however, I cannot recommend the service based on my experience.

Give me back my money now. Magnific finally bothered to respond to me after I posted my review below. However, their advice on the steps I need to take with PayPal before the company can supposedly return my money (which - very dubiously - require me to close the case before receiving the payment) are not possible to implement. I have been chasing Magnific for days now on how to resolve this matter. They either repeat the same advice or open another case or just avoid my emails. Give me back my money now - this is at best gross incompetence, but in view of the number of times I have chased Magnific and been ignored over these past months - it comes across increasingly as deliberate avoidance, i.e. theft. Avoid like the plague.
EDIT- response to Magnific’s message below. I am not going to share a case number in a public forum but I’ve sent yet another email to your customer service and trust you should be able to find it. The advice your staff have repeatedly given me runs entirely to PayPal’s process meaning that they cannot ‘close the dispute’ in order for you to then deign to pay my money back - and, surprise surprise, I’m stuck at an impasse where MAGNIFIC conveniently keeps a larger amount of money it should never have taken. This is shocking conduct from MAGNIFIC. I strongly counsel avoiding this company. Setting aside its theft of my money, the company burnt through my original credits because it kept ignoring instructions and then repeatedly flagged an image of silhouetted figures of a family in the distance as some kind of safeguarding concern. Awful on every level.
EDIT IN RESPONSE TO MAGNIFIC’s LATEST MESSAGE: do you really have so many open cases of this nature with people whose names are Jenny and surnames begin with S that you can’t find the countless communications from me on this matter, including the one that immediately preceded yesterday’s post? Feel free to tell me how I can supply you with the details privately if you really aren’t capable of identifying my case in this way. But please don’t proceed down the path of trying to get TrustPilot to remove my post because your own customer service reflects so poorly upon your company.

The tools are great. Learning them and navigating the site is challenging.

Magnific’s “Unlimited” plan is not actually unlimited.
I paid for a plan advertised as Unlimited, but my unlimited access was later removed because my usage was supposedly “far beyond what’s sustainable” under their Fair Use Policy.
So what exactly does “Unlimited” mean here?
Magnific does not clearly state any specific generation limits before purchase. Customers are encouraged to pay for unlimited usage, but once they actually use the service actively, that access can be taken away without any transparent threshold or warning.
This feels extremely misleading. You cannot advertise a service as Unlimited and then secretly apply limits that customers are not allowed to know in advance.
Magnific, please explain:
What is the actual usage limit?
Why is it not displayed clearly on the pricing page?
Why do you continue using the word “Unlimited” if access can be restricted at any moment?
At this point, it looks like customers are being promised one thing before payment and given something completely different afterward.
The AI is very understanding and responsive. I love the flow of ideas it demonstrates.

excellent tool, maybe the prices should be drop down a little bit to practice more :)
