my enquiries with Norfolk…
I started my enquiries with Norfolk county Council and they were extremely kind and helpful. They gave me contact details for lynx buses with regards to hunstanton. The situation is, all the bus stops and bus station are at the bottom of the town . At the top of the town we have a new housing estate and 2 large old people's complexes. No buses at all.
I phoned kings lynn office for Lynx buses. The gentleman was very nice but said they gad no plans at all for providing a service. I explained that with them having 4 buses an hour servicing lower hunstanton could they just provide 1 bus every 1 or 2 hours to help the old and disabled at the top. Unfortunately not ! Lynx seem to have little interest in this matter. No point having the wonderful buss pass if you can't get to a bus stop. There used to be bus stops at the top end but they stopped them.
