A step above most
In my review of A-1, I mentioned the flood of shippers who came knocking . I read their scripts and narrowed the list. If I felt harassed, I reduced my selection yet again.
I had a unique problem. I lived in a rural area, both my vehicles were down for repairs, and I had no access to cash until my car was repaired. The needed part was lost in shipping. All the shippers expected me to pay the balance due to the driver in cash.
Luxy appeared later. Their quote seemed a bit low to get a dependable driver. Edgar was my contact person. I explained my situation, and he was able to accommodate me and pay the driver directly.
I allowed Luxy to raise their quote per say, to match the fee I judged to be fair based on quotes from other well respected companies.
Edgar was able to retain a known driver for my car shipment. The driver performed the transport the next day; a Saturday.
Luxy charged an 8% premium for a credit card. That could add up for a big project.
I have no reservations with recommending Luxy for your shipping needs. I don't know their range of service, but they're easy to talk to without any sales pressure.
