They canceled my flight in a short notice and they sent me an email that I am entitled for a refund and until now I didn’t get the full refund!! Terrible experience and they are not responding to the emails, the email replies that I got is even automated or not helpful at all!!! I would like to speak to someone from the complaint department or I will escalate the issue to get my refund back.
Luthansa losing customers
I just got off an almost 5 hr early morning Luthansa flight. They only gave us a small bottle of water - no breakfast, not even a bag of pretzels. They "charged" for soft drinks and coffee ! You pay dearly for a ticket and they can't even feed you. Fellow passengers on the plane were NOT happy and vowed to not fly on Luthansa again. Also, my seat was broken and wouldn't recline. They also didn't have movies at your seat. Looks like another airline bites the dust !
Lufthansa support is inconsistent
Lufthansa cancelled my flight. After waiting for an agent in the online chat - all he could offer us was an alternative flight that included a 23 hour layover and he was adamant that’s all he could offer. While I’m on the chat considering my options and deciding how this could work for me and my 2 children, the support agent, Ed, just ends the chat. Bear in mind I’m responding straight away to this guy, no delays.
So I then get back in the queue at position 97 to start all over again! The new guy gives me completely different alternatives - which include later flights but no layover. I managed to get it sorted but the whole process took 2 hours on the chat.
Sort out your support Lufthansa.

Flew to South Africa for for my wife's sisters surprise 70th birthday party.
Two cases lost for seven days, had to buy everything new for the party and to change into from travelling. Followed all avenues for fair compensation, after agreeing we had a claim, Lufthanser completely ignored us and we are approximately £500 out of pocket through no fault of our own. I would seriously advise anybody needing an international flight to consider any other airline but this one, l wish we had seen the reviews beforehand.

I recently had the opportunity to fly with Lufthansa from Wrocław to Barcelona with a layover in Frankfurt, and it was a truly excellent experience.
The service at every stage – from check-in and boarding to the flight itself – was exceptionally professional, friendly, and helpful. The aircraft were clean and comfortable, and the onboard atmosphere was calm and pleasant.
The transfer in Frankfurt was smooth and well-organized. The airport is clearly marked, and the connection time was more than sufficient. The entire journey was punctual and completely hassle-free, which really highlights the high quality of service Lufthansa provides.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this route and this airline — the trip was enjoyable, comfortable, and stress-free. I would gladly choose to fly with them again!
On plane purchase leads to constant credit card blocks!
Did an on plane pruchase and something seemingly went wrong with their payment terminal and now the blocked payment keeps blocking my credit card. Zero support from Lufthansa in identifying how this error can be resolved! They just end phone calls or chats saying the ticket was booked via a different airline (but conducted by Lufthansa). Flew with Lufthansa LH2439 from Copenhagen to Munich and onwards to Olbia, and honestly it wasn’t a great experience.
It started with everyone being sent to gate A25, only for the gate to suddenly change to A18. Not a huge deal, just a bit messy.
When I got to my seat, there was still trash left from the previous passenger. I tried to remove it myself and ended up spilling coffee all over my brand new shoes. So I had to spend the rest of the trip all the way to Olbia with wet coffee-soaked feet, which made the journey really uncomfortable.
To be fair, the stewardess was actually very kind and gave me free coffee afterwards, so credit to her. But it still doesn’t change the fact that I had to sit in wet shoes and socks for the next several hours.
Honestly expected better cleaning and preparation from Lufthansa.

Absolutely terrible. I had to miss the first leg of a round trip flight. I called their customer service three times. The first rep offered me a reasonable reschedule and told me to call back when I was ready to accept the offer. I called back and nobody was able to find her offer. The third time I called, the rep converted the ticket into a one-way (and charged me for it) BUT when I went to return home Lufthansa said this had not been done! I was stranded at the airport. The individual representatives seemed to be doing their best, but the company as a whole is a horrible mess. Never ever use them.

The airline is connected to another airline in my tickets and kind of a partner airline not allowed to enter their plane with the dog (even Lufthansa accepted), so we lost our flight and tickets! Most horrible airline I've ever had the displeasure of trying to communicate with. Absolute dogsh*t website that "crashes" every time you try to submit a document for compensation claims or just simple contact for why they have not yet repaid the compensation after one month of submitting said compensation document.
I have tried making contact 5 times via their online form now, had been unable to submit every single time. Have tried to talk to their brain-dead AI and get put on hold for a queue, which I wait in line for, and then am promptly removed from the queue after 30 minutes of waiting (screen on the entire time). I am then put back to the end of the line which has grown 2x longer. These people are scum who are trying their best to hope you just go away so they just don't pay you what you're owed. Scummy company, they should be sued for all their worth in a just world. Don't ever bother yourself with this company, avoid the headache
