Great service

Great service . Had to pay import tax . I was a bit hesitant to pay it then have it refunded but 24hours later bam money was back in account. Bought a xlite helmet to scotland

Beware this is European based company

Beware this is European based company. Products sold are not necessarily suitable for a UK market (wrong plugs) and you may be charged additional fees by your bank paying to them ( I was). This isn’t very clear on their website and I feel misled and overcharged. I won’t be using again.

Ordered a pair of TCX Fuel boots and…

Ordered a pair of TCX Fuel boots and the tracking docket indicated that the shipment was halted in UK customs. Contacted the company, they don't respond to emails only their online contact form, and was told that I was to pay the duty bill (once received) and claim it back through their accounts section.

I've given the company almost a month to get the paperwork to me, and nothing. Glad that the weather hasn't been to bad or I had used them for a Christmas present or else I would be very pissed off currently.

Update: on non-delivery

Asked for a refund, got politely told that the item I had ordered a month ago was still on its way. Have raised a complaint to paypal in order to seek a refund.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Customs had my package longer than it was in transit. I was charged customs which was instantly refunded. Customer service email were responded to immediately, thanks to Valerij Metzger for handling it promptly. Now to leave a bad review for parcel force who didn't tell me it was being held for the customs charge..

Never have I dealt with such a shambles…

Never have I dealt with such a shambles of company.
Ordered an oil cooler several months ago to have a heavily damaged one sent. Packaging was perfect so must have been damaged previously (which was clearly visible)
Told to return the item and a new one would be sent out straight away…month or so passed and still no oil cooler…told that they was out of stock and awaiting one from somewhere else….another month or so passed and still no oil cooler! Now being told I’d be refunded and guess what?!?! Still no refund!!!
No one to speak to, poor customer service and they quite honestly don’t want to know. Joke of a company that simply will rob you and not give you a second thought…..AVOID

Customs Payment

Ordered a replacement helmet for one I had purchased from Louis Motorad a year ago. Took a while to arrive as UK customs held it for over 2 weeks. Was charged £97 extra by UK post office which was immediately reimbursed by Louis Motorad. Excellent service.

24 hours after placing an order I had to cancel due to personal circumstances.
I was impressed with how quick this was dealt with and I would not hesitate to order from them again.

good experience

I live in Hungary. I have ordered a helmet which arrived in time (unopened/original package). The whole process was professional (order, order tracking,etc). The customer support was available and helpful (via phone and e-mail).
I was satisfied with the service. I am pleased to recommend this webstore.

Excellent service and price

Best price I could find. Item was dispatched the following date. Comms were excellent. I was nervous as importing to the UK. Site says includes all taxes and it does. However there was an issue at customs and there were additional charges to pay. So I contacted Louis and they advised me to pay the charges and send them the bill so they could refund the payment. Communication was really swift (within a few hours). The goods were delivered as soon as the payment happened and Louis refunded this the next day. I understand the paperwork is a bit of a nightmare and they are still working at getting it right. I would not hesitate to use them again.

The review is purely for the customer…

The review is purely for the customer support service.
Very poor service provided during the process of returning/ exchanging of a product. I was initially told that they can provide an exchange, howerver when the retured product has been processed, they came up with some pathetic excuses and sent me an email to say that an exchange can't be offered. After a week of emails back and forth I had to request a refund... which took another 3 days and few more emails before I received the money in my account.

Excellent service from Louis

Excellent service from Louis. Im based in the UK and i had no charges applied for delivery from Germany. Louis do pledge to pay all costs after Brexit. Delivery was made within one week.

I bought a "new" Shoei helmet

I bought a new Shoei helmet, I received the helmet. However the happiness soon turned to disappointment then horror.
First I realized the helmet was in a Louis branded box and not a Shoei box like all the other Shoei helmets I have bought. Then I noticed there was no film on the visor. I looked inside the helmet and saw skin flakes all over the interior, there was spittle on the visor and the foam inserts were missing from the inside of the helmet. The exterior of the helmet was dirty too.
It certainly did not have that new helmet smell! I don't know what it smelled of.... (hippy scalp maybe)

This was very obviously a second hand helmet or previous customer return. Disgusting helmet, fitting for such a disgusting company.

Hi just thought i should leave a good…

Hi just thought i should leave a good review as i was really worried after reading some of these reviews on here, about not getting customs charges refunded.
I bought a shoei neotec 2 from louis moto for £463 no customs charges no hidden surprises thought great saved about £60, then a customs letter came asking me to pay over £120+.
I sent copies of these once i'd paid back to louis moto and good to their word re-embursed me no problem . just be patient dont get angry just state the facts and if possible ask all the questions before you buy to get answers in emails you can refer to if needed . I am a very happy customer and will continue shopping with louis moto !

Avoid them like a fire

Avoid them like a fire. I bought shuberth helmet, UK customs asked for additional payment to clear unpaid VAT, louis customer service said that I needed to pay it and they are going to refund me one week later no sign of refund and I don't belive there will ever be, they are just bunch of thieves exploiting fakt that Britain left EU...

Online shop lacking customer support

I am unaware of the physical shop, however their online shop experienced left me with a bitter taste.
The product had wrong information(meanwhile it was updated), thus I got the wrong product, and as for solutioning this problem, their customer support is very very bad... It took from 19th May to 7 July to get a right response, and it resulted in me paying twice the transport tax and I was asked to just buy another one.... Utter disappointment, Louis.

Bought a Garmin from Louis Moto

Bought a Garmin from Louis Moto. Customer Service agent spoke perfect English. Delivery from Germany to the UK was quick, only held up slightly due to Brexit idiocies. Product absolutely fine. Would buy again with confidence.
