Terrible

Terrible. First order, spent over $370. 3 pair of socks (cashmere) are badly damaged after a single use. Wrote to customer service, their answer is like, well, these are delicate items you need to pay attention they were not like that when we shipped them (maybe they thought I have no clue how to deal with cashmere items?)...here, we send you one pair on us for "pure customer service". Seriously... obviously as soon as I received them, I immediately (3 hrs roughly) sent them back, I honestly don't think I need to do business with people that don't seem to be able to deal with customers.

A Mixed Bag

My experience with this vendor is mixed. I ordered a variety of a dozen dress socks, across different lines they offer. They were expertly shipped. The packaging was handled with care. The socks themselves were a mixed bag. I liked the line with iridescent threads, and a textured weave. I didn't see these styles anywhere else. There were some duds, however, in the batch. Their mercerized cotton diamond socks were nothing short of horrible. Same with their cable knit Italian socks that arrived with loose threads. Lorenzo Uomo processed a refund for the one pair defective socks I returned. Lorenzo Uomo reached out to me via email to address any concerns I had.

Known for their shirts, but their socks are amazing

I had heard of Lorzenzo Uomo as a maker of quality men's shirts, but I was surprised to find they offered wool dress socks as well. And if you've ever shopped for wool socks, you know what a challenge it can be: limited colors, inappropriate patterns, weights and textures that are unsuitable for business or formal wear... So I gave Lorenzo Uomo a try.

Their selection of attractive, high quality wool dress socks is head and shoulders above anything else on the market. I was able to get socks in colors like burgundy and medium brown - for some odd reason, brown wool socks are very hard to find - and in the lightweight dress socks I needed.

The socks themselves are soft, with rich, saturated colors, they stay in place well without sagging, and the range of styles (smooth, ribbed, herringbone patterns, etc.) is far beyond anything I expected.

Another huge plus is the price. I was prepared to spend upwards of $20 a pair, not just because this is a high-end brand, but because even the mass market brands are selling in that range. Imagine my surprise when I found I could get four pair of Lorenzo Uomo socks for the same price I was paying for only two or three elsewhere.

I had to return one pair - not the color I expected - and the process was fast and easy. No hassles, no questions, no delays. When they say "free returns," they mean it.

I won't be buying anywhere else.
