Great experience
I used Local Motion to move my parents from one senior home to another. It was a great experience - the moving guys were extremely nice and I really liked it that they charge by 1/2 hour so you end up paying less if you don't use up a whole hour.
A couple things they could improve on:
1. They repeatedly emailed me about some service that signs you up for utilities and other things that you may need during a move, and some of those emails were very misleading, making it look like it was required to sign up for an account in order to confirm my move.
2. The movers forgot a wall clock. They should train their staff to make sure nothing is left behind including the walls.
3. They packed a laptop and TV remotes in one of a million boxes so my parents were left without TV or computer (i.e. communications) until we go through dozens upon dozens of boxes. They should train their staff to be a little more mindful and put any important items (laptops, phones, remotes, medicines, etc) into a specially marked "open first" box.
Other than these, a very positive experience!
