Yep. It’s my fault. I deliberately screwed everything up and lost $3,500. Stupid end user. Doesn’t reflect on their site or support at all. Great service recovery guys.
Similar experience. I set up account, first 2 trades completed for a total of $1500, was able to see in my wallet and send. Third trade completed for $2000, bullet points showed it complete - nothing in my wallet. Support said it was a problem with the email address in my profile not matching my login and that because of what I did, the funds were lost. I validated with support that my future transactions would now work. Executed a buy for $1500. Bullet points showed it complete. Didn't show in my wallet. Support had me link my login with my Google account. Once again, since I followed their directions, the funds were lost.
The client-side security might protect SOMEONE but certainly not me. It cost me $3500!!!
The lack of a password reset function is irresponsible and a total failure of site security design.
By the way. My password, which I had used all along and written down, no longer works.

Based on the information you have provided it's apparent you were engaging with a scammer off platform and this resulted in you becoming the victim of a phishing attack, these types of attacks are easily avoided. You should only contact LocalCoinSwap staff via official channels and the support portal. Additionally, it's crucial to only ever login and access your account on localcoinswap.com

Suspicious activity detected
I noticed something fishy about a buyer and reported it to the admin.
The admin found that the buyer used a 3rd party bank account to make payment without their knowledge.
After more scrutiny, the buyer was found wanting; thus, removed from the platform.

Please republish the review They flag my review as harmful because they are scammers and didn't want to show this in them review. I lost my money on this platform and they disabled my account 😭 😭.because the seller scammed me and admin was be side him.
I sent money to seller by my hands 2100 GBP and after this seller Opened dispute to scam me however he received payment he asked for sender id selfie and he was my friend account and I told him to refund payment to me .
He told me to wait admin who was in his side and the admin speaking with threats in his talks that he didn't care about dispute and bout losing my money.
I sent details to seller to refund money to the source account but the seller was trying to scam so he told me that will call the bank to refund it 😭 and wise will never refund completed payment.
I told this to admin but he said to me he didn't care and will wait to see what will happened.
After 2 days the seller said that money refunded and I try to see if I received money back but account is deactivated by wise so I can't login and he didn't want to share any evidence to me just with admin only I don't know why he did that because I am a part of appeal and admin sent him his email to forward screenshot of refunds
after 1hour admin resolved dispute to seller and now I lost my money because no refund 😭😭😭

Your account was disabled due to attempting third party payments. However, this wasn't done until the payment had been refunded to the sending account. Your claims of "losing money on this platform" are dishonest when the reality is that Wise disabled your account with them as well, which given what we saw from you is not in the least bit surprising.

A user claimed that coins were deposited in escrow when In fact it was not. The user asked me to make my payment. I refused. I reported the user to support service. The case was reviewed and the user was removed from the platform within the hour. Well done.
