A real consultancy, but smaller than it presents itself
In August 2026 I was considering LNQP for a consulting project. While I was preparing to get in touch, a few things on their website made me want to take a closer look, so I did my due diligence on the company using public sources: the German commercial register, the company's website, client reviews on Clutch and LinkedIn profiles. This review covers that, not the quality of LNQP's work.
What I liked:
- LNQP GmbH is properly registered in Berlin, and its company history looks clean. I found no insolvencies, disputes or negative press.
- The verified client reviews on Clutch are positive and specific. There are only three reviews, and they were most likely requested by the company, as is common on Clutch.
What concerned me:
- The website presents a three-person team, but LNQP is owned and run by one person. The two other consultants listed work independently, and their public profiles don't mention LNQP.
- Figures such as "83 projects", "76 clients" and "15+ years" appear to combine the earlier careers of all three listed consultants, including the two independent ones, largely at previous employers, rather than LNQP's own work. In my view, presenting them as the company's track record is misleading.
- The website credits the founder with having raised more than €1.5M for his previous biotech startup (ProteiQ Biosciences GmbH), but doesn't mention that this company was dissolved in 2023 and has since been removed from the commercial register. In my view, this presents the funding as a success while leaving out the outcome.
- Two of the three annual accounts filed so far were submitted after the legal deadline.
Outcome:
A legitimate small consultancy. But if you're considering hiring them, be aware that you're essentially hiring one person.
Ask who will actually work on your project, and read the website's figures as the combined experience of three individuals, two of whom work independently and may not be involved in your project, rather than company results.
For my project, these points were reason enough to decide not to work with LNQP.
