Every order I have placed with lmc is screwed up , if there not sending it to a address that isn’t mine or sending half orders forgetting parts . Or send empty packages with no parts in them. Than I call and ask for a shipping label to return there product the tell me I have to pay for it my self. So I do, which cost me 230 dollars . I call to company they tell me they could have sent a reduced fair label to me . I will never order another thing from this site . There are always issue and they don’t do anything to correct them or make them right .

Used lmc truck alot in the past & always had a great experience with both customer service & parts that was years ago now I'm building a 72 blazer made a large order only got about half of what I ordered I wasn't to upset because they only charged me for what I did receive so it was their loss I just ordered it from someone else but myy recent orders take a long long time to come in I ordered a gas tank kit the straps are wrong person on the phone said no one else's is wrong like I'm lying for some reason had me on hold for 2 hours & at the end the people who need to help me went home for the day I have no hope that they will make things right they just don't seem to care about anyone To many other companies out there to deal with this I would give less stars if I could I wish I would have read the reviews before buying they used to be a great company not no more save yourself money time & headaches
Responding: to lmc answer not upset about back orders I get that alot of companies are dealing with that I'm upset about things I ordered & you guys said was in stock such as my outer locking hubs & a few other things I never received I did call back & you guys just never shipped them & like I said in my original post I'm not all that upset about not getting what I ordered just cuz I found them & a better deal but as far as the gas tank straps go I know they are wrong they don't fit I've built enough of these blazers to know but even then I understand they change things so I did my research I tried putting them on they do not fit & as far as your company saying we'll we've never had this problem from anyone else so does that mean it can never so therefore I'm just wrong cuz it's never happened before no I didn't bother to send the pictures because I needed them & didwant to argue lose sleep & have a back & forth with you guys about them it was alot easier to just order them from another company o think I paid $35 than to wait & go through all this & honestly at the end you guys won't make it right I'll still end up ordering them for the $35 it's a no Brainer to me

I'm building a 1956 fork truck from the ground up i have needed parts for the cab, they fix perfectly .
now we're working on painting and assembling fitting everything has been great .
customer service has been exceptional getting the parts I need for the finish and trim.

Bought a 'chrome' grille and GMC emblem from them. What I got was a GMC emblem that wasn't what I bought (doesn't fit that grille), and a grille that was made from cheap plastic that was cracked in two spots.

Definitely not worth the $450 I paid. Stay away from this place. The items sent definitely don't represent what they're selling on the buy/purchase page.

EDIT: They made it right... so updating it from 1 to 4 star. Customer service was definitely better than the product I received.

Bought a product from them. I would say they have average customer service.

I received my order and part of it was missing. FedEx stated they are delivered it on a Saturday but was not able to locate the package. LMC made it right and shipped out the missing parts without any issue. Thank you for being great to your customers.

I ordered the SS brake line kit for a 1968 GMC Short wheel base truck. The lines fit okay till i install the line from the front to the back. The line is 17 inches to short. Call customer service and the person i talk to said she couldn't believe line is short. She was suppose to send me an email with a claim number and for me to attach pictures to. Never received the email. Called again for the second time and the woman i talk to this time found my order but nothing else. She told me to send the pictures to the email on the online page. So i did not heard anything from anyone from LMC. will not be ordering anything from the ever again and will tell my friends and other people to not order from them. The customer service is the sorriest I've ever dealt with.

I ordered billet cutout door handles for my truck. I received the door handles and went to install them and discovered that there weren't any adapters to install the handle. I called LMC to make them aware and was told that they did not come with adapters and that the 3 set screws are what attaches the handles. The 3 set screws did not secure the handle, so therefore I opted to return them. Three weeks had passed by with no credit to my account, so I called and spoke to a representative and was told that someone would be contacting me. I received a call back the next day and was told that I would be getting a credit. I checked my account and was not credited the full amount. I called back to see why I wasn't getting full credit and they said that there was damage to the parts. I packaged the items in one of their boxes in the original package with a lot of packing paper to ensure there wasn't any damage during shipping. Anyone who is spending money on billet products obviously cares about the look of their build and would not sacrifice ruining the product. In the end I was reimbursed for a restocking fee, but that still didn't make me whole. I am disappointed with LMC truck and will not be doing any further business with them!

Made order on a Thursday and it’s Tuesday and still don’t know when my order will be shipped. Called to check and the three people could only tell us that it was put on the truck at 8:00 Tuesday morning but nothing else about the order. So we will not be ordering from this company anymore.

Terrible customer service and quality control. No one at the company knows anything about automotive parts.
- Ordered their spring compressor - I does not work. Contacted the manufacturer - They had to be cut to fit. Totally rude in customer service.
- Ordered a set (4) of ball joints - Three of them were made by different manufacturers.
- Ordered their stainless brake line kit for a dual master cylinder as advertised - They sent one for a single master cylinder. Had to ship it back because they cannot figure out that there are more lines in a dual system. Sourced to a different company that understands automotive parts.
- Just started putting my front end together - three tie rods from one manufacturer and one from another.

They do not understand that some different manufactures parts are different in appearance and quality.
As a veteran they used to give a nice discount and now its only on some parts and varies.
Moving forward I will now weigh their discount against the headache of miss matched parts vs paying a little more and dealing with knowledgeable staff and respectful customer service.

I ordered front bed caps for two chevy K1500s of mine, manufacturing spec. according to LMC is 1 5/8 inches inside dimension. Bed rail measures 1 9/16 so if the caps were made to spec the 1/16 in. clearance should have allowed them to fit fine, right. Unfortunately the inside dimension measures 1 7/16, I have now received the original two caps, sent them back with lengthy explanation and now received two more incorrect sized caps, How hard is this to understand, I have been trying to reason with LMC CS on and off all day, it as if they don't even read the emails clearly explaining the situation.

After reading LMC's customer service review it is clear they don't read a customers responses. Is it not painfully obvious that the LMC spec is simply wrong. These bed caps that measure 1 7/16 inside cannot possibly fir over the 1 9/16 front bed rail. The cap is smaller than the rail it is supposed to fit over. I don't know what I care but that this product cannot possibly fit the application. At this point I just want a shipping label sent to me so I can return the second incorrect part I have received, i will also enclose the catalog as I will never order from this company again. to bad because they used to make quality parts, I wonder what has happened to the company.

After weeks of communication with LMC customer service they have come up with an offer of a solution. They offered me a $35.00 credit which is less than half of my expenditure for this incorrectly made parts. You all need to think twice before ordering from LMC, I know I won't make the same mistake again

I order a rad core support mount along with bushings and hardware for my 1988 f250. After ordering I decided to read reviews and was worried I may have wasted my money. I read reviews about cheap parts and terrible shipping. I have yet to install my parts but they look like quality parts I am not displeased. I placed my order June 18th and received the 22nd. Couldn't be more pleased in all honesty. With shipping and quality. If I install the parts and something isn't right, I will update.

There shipping of products is super slow. They prefer to ship your order via Fed-Ex which is another company who doesn't care if you get your items in 4 days or 4 weeks from LMC's shipping dock.LMC will do NOTHING to contact Fed-Ex until 10 days have passed there shipping date ( not order date). The two company's are perfectly matched. Poorest services ever.

I really wish I would have paid attention to these reviews. If you can avoid this company do so at all costs. Parts are cheap and come late as heck. They ship bargain basement shipping but over charge the heck out of you. I paid $38 for my shipping and it cost them $6 to ship it and I still don’t have my package and have no idea when I will get it. Buy local and if you can’t deff not with this company.

I have purchased from LMC a couple of times in the past and have had the parts either shipped to Vancouver, Canada or my mail box just across the border in Blaine, Washington. Great selection of parts for my 68 Ford F100. This time I went crazy and over the past 3 months have ordered about $4000 in parts. Even to Canada the parcels arrive within 3 days with all taxes and duties paid. ( Nothing worse than receiving $125 of goods from other supplier's only to be charged $109 Duty and freight before the courier company would drop it off). I trust these guys and enjoy doing business with this Company.

Shipping is way too expensive I'm pretty sure a 8x8x8 box of 3lbs or lighter ain't going to cost $38.53 to ship to California

I've bought thousands of dollars of parts from lmc and usually had good luck getting the right parts at a timely manner but lately they been very slow at getting my order processed and that being said I am now using other vendors that are much better and faster

Ordered $240 worth of parts including a radiator drain petcock for a 48 Ford F3, Illustration showed the correct 90 degree style that was factory. Sent me a generic straight fitting that will not work in this application. Paid up for the part and shipping anticipating it to be the correct part from the website. Disappointed I would have to ship back on my dime for misleading information on this part.
Part +shipping + return shipping I could have bought 8 of these locally.
Customer service seemed somewhat unfriendly.
No problems with the rest of my order.

Recently ordered a 3 point seatbelt set for my 1987 Ramcharger one of mine is frayed won't pass state inspection. Only need one but happy to get some to match truck. Parts arrive won't fit. Call customer service I am told it my fault even though the site puts the part for a match because the part states it's for a regular cab. There is only one cab or regular Ramcharger just a 100 or 150 and both cabs same. They refuse to pay for return,such poor ethics and rude attitude deserve the reward of no future business and warnings to all STAY AWAY! Should have read reviews first. Good public perception of company is un deserved.
