It's not enough the service isn't good it charges for no service
I used supposingly free service for about an hour because I wanted to send my cv but didn'thave my computer with me. I ended up using my friend's computer at the end because it was almost impossible to use the website on the phone. After spending an hour or so rebuilding the cv it turned out I had to pay for the service which was advertised as free. The fee wasn't very high just less than 2pounds so I decided to pay it instead of starting all over again on another service. I was hugely surprised when I found out that they charged me another 19.95 two weeks later. I didn't take any subscription and haven'tused the website except that one time. I only agreed to pay about 1.95 for the service of reformatting my cv which wasn't even good.
After contacting the company they have refunded me half of the money taken but I am not satisied because I was not aware of any additional charge except 1.95.
PS. Thank you for your answer but how you can see from other reviews you aren't transparent at all otherwise you would not have so many 1* reviews most for the same reason. People paid to download their cv to find out that you were billing them for months for something they have never ordered. Disgusting!
I do not understand why you even bother responding and pretending that you care. If you really did, you would start being transparent and write that you charge 1.95 as a catch to download the cv but this means that you start billing cicle and you will charge 19.85GBP after 14 days and each month after that. The reviews are showing clearly over and over again that this is not clear so instead of responding each individual change the messages shown so it would be clear.
BTW, the refund for 14 days which you said you made still did not arrive and it has been about 2 weeks now.
PS2. 2026.09.12 Today I have received the second refund 9.92GBP. I also noticed that the first one also arrived but on my GBP account that's why I haven't noticed it previously.

My advice is still valid. Please change the description. It is not clear, that you take a subscription. I looked for your emails from 24th of August. I got 5. In the second one you wrote about the subscription on the very bottom in the amail "thank you for your order". Please change the title to "thank you for your subscription" and write about the subscription on top so you will have less disappointed customers.

Helpful, but monthly subscription required
The tools and helpful tips for making your CV are great, however I do not wish to have to subscribe for a whole month and there has to be an option to just pay for a single CV. If this was offered for a single use I would have been more than happy to give it 5 stars. But almost 30€ for a monthly subscription, for a service I will not need for a whole month is absurd.
