Damaged Tanks
Bought a new fish tank online.
On testing the tank found the whole trim cracked. Contacted Lincs Aquatics via email no reply. Phoned them on 26/11/25 and explained the situation and they offered me 25% refubd if i kept the tank, no i wanted a replacement, undamaged. They confirmed that they would send a replacement tank out on Friday 28/12/25 and collect the damaged one same day.
I've had nothing from the currier or anything to let me know times etc for delivery like when I bought the tank originally, the next day I had email from courier about the delivery, so this time nothing to date.
I emailed LA on 26/12/25 and Dave French replied "your swap out will be arranged for Friday".
It is Thursday 27/11/25 and still no email from courier if they've arranged this! Good job i wasn't in the middle of a tank change over! This could have been an expensive loss of my fish.
I won't be using them again and will escalate this with paypal for a refund.

After recently having a bad experience ordering a specific fish tank via another online aquatics store (see my other reviews) I found Lincs Aquatics had the same tank in stock for the same price, I ordered late Thursday evening and unfortunately missed the cut off point for next day (Friday) delivery but happily paid a bit extra for Saturday delivery.
I received a voicemail this morning (Friday) from Lincs Aquatics offering to deliver the tank later today (Friday, instead of Saturday) as they had their own delivery van in my area.
The fish tank has just been delivered, it was really well packaged and everything appears intact and okay.
Very happy with my experience.

Ordered a fish tank online as ours sprung a leak so managed to use our spare one as thought it only takes 3-5 days to arrive to us. 5 days passed so sent an email asking for info as hadn’t received any confirmation that is was on its way. Within an hour someone phoned explained the situation basically I should have had it. So they prioritised the delivery for next day and it was here. Super friendly customer service very understanding fish tank come in brilliant condition well packaged. Thank you couldn’t be happier. Will use these guys again
Great communication and delivery
I received a very quick response to an email asking if a water feature was actually in stock after two poor experiences from other companies that stated it was in stock when it was actually coming from the manufacturer. There was then a problem which meant we didn't receive the item. We selected next day delivery for a very reasonable cost and it arrived before 9 am the next day. A very good experience.
We came last Friday
We came last Friday, a family got served whilst we were waiting then staff just disappeared, my husband went to the till & asked for assistance & the guy got on the radio no one came, we must have wait in total 20 odd minutes for someone to come but no one did so as we were leaving isee a guy in the back, I told him we've been waiting 20 odd minutes to be served & still no one has come so were leaving, he actually chased us out the shop asking what we wanted, by then to late got in our car & left they can't want custom that badly !!!!
Water Feature Online Order
Ordered 2 water features for a Saturday delivery. I decided to give them a call on the Friday morning just to make sure delivery was on track for Saturday as I had heard nothing from them. The gentlemen on the phone told me they were not coming Saturday it would be Sunday. This was fine but if I had not called I would of waited in all day Saturday for no reason. Saturday 5pm I received a call to say my order was loaded on the van and would be with me Sunday around midday. Sunday morning I received an email which enabled me to track the drivers progress and delivery was made around 11.30am. Very friendly delivery driver and carried the delivery around into back garden for me.
Both water features are now set up and work fine, no damage etc.
I was a little concerned initially after reading some negative trust pilot reviews but all came good in the end. The only thing that could improve service I would say is just a little bit more communication.
Liars
I purchased a terrarium from this store and arranged a delivery date. Called to check delivery was still ok, only to be told sorry they have discontinued this item, that's funny because I was shown 3 in your warehouse on the day I purchased, story changes, now two are damaged and the other just so happened to be sold on the same day as mine... Convenient! No contact to advise any of this.
Called for a refund, refund processed... and £380 is taken from my account, call again, receive apologies and assurance that all £700+ refund will be processed straight away and all payments taken cancelled. Well guess what, no payments cancelled, no refund received!!
The next phone call will be to the police to report them for fraudulently taking money from my bank account.
Will not use again!!!!

Top company to buy from!
I ordered a Fluval Roma 200, from this store beginning of April. As anyone would be, I was a tad nervous about ordering a fish tank online. Nevertheless it arrived next day in perfect condition. Really pleased with the tank, the staff were helpful over the phone too when needing to ask some questions.

I would not recommend this company at all. I still can't believe that the matter has not been resolved either!
The company comes across as very unprofessional & greedy.
I bought 3 items from this company for a Fluval edge aquarium. There was no delivery charge due to total amount of £79.77. In addition I had a small discount of £3.99 for signing up as a new customer.
I returned 1 item as it was the wrong size (I used tracked and sign for service that I paid for). I was hoping to buy the correct size item from this company once I received the refund.
Having checked with my bank, I found out that the amount refunded was incorrect. I was refunded £19.18. rather than £26.49 so I emailed Arran. Arran's response was that the postage cost would have been deducted from your original price paid as they would still have incurred this delivery charge.
Having explained to Arran that I actually bought 3 items and was only returning 1 item, he apologised for the error. ( The 2 other items I kept meant I would have been entitled to free delivery anyway).
I was surprised Arran hadn't checked beforehand and also how did they reach that figure deducted?? As I continued reading the email, to my shock, it said that the refund will be a slight shortfall of the total amount as the discount that was provided for the product item will need to be removed from the refund.
I responded to Arran & queried it. The small discount of £3.99 was for signing up . Until today I still have not received the outstanding refund of £7.31
Please be careful of this company. I certainly will not be buying anymore items from them!
Excellent aquatic centre
I have been going to Lincs Aquatics since the days it was in a lot smaller premises and usually it was just Barry.
However today we went to buy some fish and was dealt with by Liam, we have been served by Liam a few times now and he has a very good knowledge of fish, is very friendly and is very good at catching the fish, which with some people I have dealt with before, has been a very stressful situation for the fish.
Liam went above and beyond today with his customer relations and was very helpful, hopefully he stays and is happy in his job as the only negative thing really about Lincs Aquatics is the staff turnaround, quite often it is different people serving.

I'm very pleased with my purchase of the Fluval Marina tank and cabinet. I ordered it and it was delivered efficiently the next day.

No communication or anything. Still waiting for order to be delivered if it is coming at all. Ignore delivery timescales as these are not honoured...
