I was in Liverpool Heart and chest hospital for 5 weeks to have a triple bypass on Cedar ward and in POCCU,I have never ever been looked after as well in all my life,I didn’t think that you could get as many caring and wonderful people under one roof,everyone from the tea guy and the lady who did the meals,all the nurses,theatre staff including Charlie the porter who always made me laugh,and finally Mr Mederatti and Fran the surgeons whom I can’t thank enough.
So to everyone a big big thank you.

I cannot praise highly enough Dr Borbas, Dr Luther & their team in the Cath Lab; also Sister Karen, SN Ancey & all the staff on Holly Suite where I was admitted for an endo/epicardial ablation for Pe AF. Everything, from my identity to my meds were double checked & every step of the procedure explained in detail leaving me feeling very reassured & confident. I also must mention Mo who served the meals; her irrepressible humour had us all chuckling. Grateful thanks to all. Michael

Operation Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation
My total experience at the hospital was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending the hospital or Dr Gupta to anyone.
The hospital and my room were absolutely clean, spic & span. The room had all the facilities a patient might need during their stay at the hospital. The nursing staff were above and beyond in their service. Their attention was instantaneous. The staff in the operating room were very professional and understanding and they all introduced themselves to me as I came in contact with them during the operation. The checking procedure for who I was was beyond reproach. The service staff and the Portering people were excellent and did their job with proficiency.
Dr Dhiraj Gupta carried out my operation and his knowledge and efficiency were remarkable and he gave me total confidence in putting my life in his hands.
All in all, I would have no hesitation in recommending LHCH to anybody who asks me.

I do have a negative comment though. The food supplied was very inferior and the impression I got was that it was probably portions of frozen food bought from the cheapest suppliers. The staff involved in serving and bringing the food were the best and they just served what was provided.
