While their customer service was prompt and helpful in handling order cancellations and refunds, I encountered an issue with a product description. The website did not mention the need for an additional Hue Bridge for the Philips Hue lamp, which led to unexpected extra costs. This misleading information was disappointing. Overall, the prices are reasonable, but make sure to double-check product requirements.

Regarding the Philips Hue lamp, we’d like to clarify that while the Hue Bridge enhances functionality and allows access to advanced features like remote control, routines, and compatibility with other smart home systems, it’s not strictly required. Philips Hue lamps can also be controlled via Bluetooth for basic features.

Bought a set of Philips hue bulbs with the wrong wattage. I wrote to them to ask for a cancellation and promptly bought 2 new sets with the right wattage. Order was cancelled and refunded quickly with no hassle. Amazing customer service. Would definitely purchase from them again as I value good customer service.

Misleading marketing: bought a lamp which requires other devices to work
We bought a Philips Hue Ensis lamp. The webpage on LEDpærer.dk reports that to control the lamp (on/off, change colours, dim it) you just need to download the Hue app.
Unfortunately, after installing the lamp we found out that it needs a Hue Bridge, which costs another 500 dkk. This is reported nowhere on the webpage.
We wrote to the customer service asking for a free Hue Bridge due to the misleading marketing. LEDpærer.dk did not accept our request and, instead, tried to get us to buy also the Hue Bridge with them. We're definitely not going to buy anything with them.

We always try our hardest to make sure we have happy customers, and i'm sorry that your experience is has not been great.
Philips hue Always require a hue bridge, we are very sorry if its not stated clear enough on the product page, we will revise this. Maybe we are just to use to the Philips hue eco system thats its a given for us that is needed for using colors as stated in the category menu and in our Hue guide. We dont think is is misleading, but we will revise it in the future just to be sure.
unfortunately we cant offer expensive products for free, otherwise we would not be in business very long.
I hope you can find a hue bridge somewhere else.
