Avoid. They owe me £7700!

Comment got deleted! Reposting.

Leavy does not pay anyone. They have changed the name/nature of this page. All comments are being deleted from Leavy’s social media to try and cover up their illegal actions as well.

Leavy rented out my property from mid December to mid March. I should have been paid 7th of every month for the previous month. They paid me for December weeks late; I have still not been paid for the remaining 70+ nights they were renting my property out.

Leavy also didn’t pay the cleaner/host who was managing my property. She stopped looking after my place and this happened.

“We expect payments to be made in the coming days and will give you an exact date when we have one but we are hopeful that this will be sorted soon.” (March 6th)

“our funds are currently blocked by our investors which is why it is taking some time. However, we are doing everything to unblock the situation and this is now in legal hands. It should resolve next week and I will keep you posted.” (March 16th)

Myself and the cleaner have still not been paid and I have been told by her that there are many others in this situation. The stress and anxiety of not being paid that amount of money while you’re not in the country is disgusting enough; I then had to deal with the daily hounding of the desperate cleaner who needed payment and also threatened me. Also, I returned to a completely destroyed home.

Horrific smell. It smelt violently of BO and as if the windows hadn't been opened or anything had been cleaned in months
Soiled, stinking sheets were hanging in the bedroom
The bed had no sheet on it and wasn't clean
The entire flat, surfaces, floor, shelves etc. were covered with a thick layer of dust/hair and clearly hadn't been cleaned
There was even hair on my bath
The toilet was filthy, clearly hadn't been bleached since my departure
All light fittings were filthy and the hallway light had been pulled from the ceiling and was dangling with all the wires exposed etc.
The boiler door had been completely taken off and broken leaving the kitchen additionally unsightly
The kitchen blind had been broken and a substantial piece of the wood just left discarded on the side
Mirrors were smeared with what seemed like oil and were completely filthy; couldn't see a reflection in them
Dirty, greasy coffee tables
TV cabinet drawer door yanked off and broken
Missing items: 6 towels and set of bedsheets – I bought these especially for the Airbnb management and it was an investment, they were just robbed
Filthy crockery and cutlery not washed up. Some crockery had even been put away dirty with crusted food on it!
To add to the stink, there was mouldy milk in the fridge – this had gone out of date in mid February!!
Unwashed towels in the washing machine but worst of all two tea towels absolutely crawling with mould – smelling and obviously highly unhygienic
The mould had spread to the washing machine itself causing further damage and bad odour
Dead plants everywhere and not even an attempt to remove or replace them

To this (with photo evidence), Leavy just said to share with the Ops team to escalate further. I never even received a reply, an attempt to fix my flat or any compensation.
Leavy’s CEO sent two alarming and bizarre long newsletters end of March and early April. She does not reply to emails or LI messages.
“ To manage expectations, as it’s best for me not to die because of sleep deprivation: I’ll be able to share hard info by the end of week.” (28th March)
Of course, no further information was shared by end of week. And then:
“BAD NEWS: DISCUSSIONS ARE NOT PANNING OUT. AS A RESULT, LEAVY IS STILL OWED €2.300,000.
Leavy defied insane odds, recovered fast attracting top Investors. I hoped for better, but I’m not surprised:
Since Covid, broke Founders kept piling on debt to pay costs of a startup, I fear no one but mailmen ;
For the past 3 years, we’ve tolerated the intolerable, damaging our health but had to remain silent ;
Knowing people are in distress, all I’ve read so far is eagerness to benefit from yummy valuations.

GOOD NEWS: WE PLANNED & PREPARED FOR THIS. JUSTICE WILL RUN ITS COURSE FOR ONE WEEK.
Our joint auditors lost patience & initiated a whistleblowing procedure outing the situation. We go to Court.
For security reasons and out of respect for the Court, I cannot disclose the exact date & time ;
It will be by end of week, before the President of the Commercial Court of Paris (=same-day ruling) ;
Upon receiving the €2.3 million, we'll issue all outstanding payouts without delay and move forward.” (4th April)

Since then, I received a fake payment notice for less than half the amount due, which was meant to clear in 5 days. Still have not received a penny.

Supposedly payment is made and would be…

Supposedly payment is made and would be sent within 5 days.. where is it then? Bank transfers from France at most usually take 1-2 days. Bearing in mind it has now been 10 months since they have paid me! Another ridiculous thing is my amount is not even the amount I am supposed to be paid, it’s less than what I worked for. No one replies to messages, emails anything. Maybe everyone’s left it wouldn’t be a bad thing what exactly is the point of working for a company that is financially struggling to make ends meet when making promises to pay other people and employees i am guessing. please do not believe the bs on their website, payment won’t be paid to you they are just getting your hopes up.

Pay the people you owe

The most recent review is making me chuckle. So you work for or continued to work for leavy despite knowing what they have been doing to customers and people they hired? I find that hard to believe as surely any normal person with a brain would leave the company right away if they have not been paid in the first month as it’s illegal!! Leavy.co needs to focus on paying everyone they owe rather than writing fake reviews to gain sympathy from people.

I want to clarify that employees like me are also struggling to make ends meet. I have not received my pay for more than 4 months now and it's putting me in a very difficult situation.
I understand how frustrating this can be for customers, but employees are not involved in any fraudulent activities. We are simply collateral damage of this situation and it's unfair to label us *ALL* as scammers

Please read

Can I just say the employments rights act 1996 states employers must pay employees on the agreed pay day. Leavy.co has not paid anyone for months. Do they realise how illegal it is? An email from the ceo going on to say she will update everyone and solve it yet the email sounds unbelievably narcissistic and all about her. It’s quite funny to read., what about the people who you have scammed out of money and not paid their wages and have worked for your company yet not been paid for yet???? Aziza chaouachi I can say I have spoken to a few people in the same position as me who have also reported the company and the people that work for you are all scammers I have all names addresses numbers to pass over to the police and emails. There is no point deleting Instagram comments and limiting the comment section because everyone knows how much of a joke this company is anyway. The email states end of the week and it’s now Saturday, if I do not receive my money by Sunday or Monday I will be taking the company to court after filing a court case. It’s unacceptable and disgusting that they think they can get away with this! Anyone who reads this I urge you to do the same take them to court and sue!

Change of account name due to bad reviews

This used to be the trustpilot account of Leavy.co. They just changed it to Levi a lingerie brand given how bad reviews have gotten as they don't pay clients. They forgot to update the website which is still leavy.co
I am going to sue this company, what they do should not be legal.

Haven’t paid me

Let my property out via Leavy during December, before Christmas. Payment should had arrived immediately afterwards but I am still waiting on it and being told that ‘we are waiting on an update on your payment date’. Bear in mind this company has already received the money from letting out my property. It’s unacceptable

Leavy hasn't paid me for 5 months

Starting working with Leavy.co as a host back in September 2022. Payments were promised monthly but I am yet to receive any money from Leavy.co for the work I have done with them.

I have contacted them multiple times and am returned with "once we know more, we will let you know". It's now been almost 5 months with no payment and no date of when I expect to receive it.

A warning to everyone to NOT work with this company.
