LCWW is a scam!

I would give zero stars if possible. Bought a ticket for a show in London. It was mysteriously cancelled by the venue and customers were offered two options - an upgrade to a year’s membership or a refund. I chose a refund. That was back on Feb 2025. It’s now Dec 2025 and my emails continue to be ignored. LCWW is a scam and should be investigated and closed!

Will overcharge your accounts

Bought tickets advertised for one price on all boards and advertising, to find out when checking my Bank app that I'd been charged above FULL price for concession tickets and then $10 extra for any standard priced tickets?
Attempting to get a refund was poorly handled, incorrectly promised, I still have not received any funds, not something to bother chasing unless you have unlimited time and years on your hands. Also unsure what other venues have been like but from my day, it was a poor use of space in building, management for timetables and many pet stall owners unable to go for toilet breaks etc due to bad organisation.

I am unsure of what you bought and say you are overcharged? It;s impossible to buy tickets outside of what the price has listed. Also, when did the event company become responsible for managing breaks of vendors? This is confusing.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. Complete and utter scam. Still waiting on my refund for Belfast. The email address no longer exists and there doesnt seem to be any form of communication avenues to get in touch. Disgusting.

If I could leave 0 stars I would

If I could leave 0 stars I would.
Several of my friends and I had purchased tickets last year for the LCWW Catstravaganza in Sacramento which was to happen March 15th.
As the event approached, we invited a couple to go with us and sent them the information. To everyone's surprise, the event had disappeared off of the CalExpo website. After several unanswered calls and emails to both CalExpo and LCWW one friend discovered a new event had been created for December. Eventually THE DAY BEFORE THE SHOW we received an email stating it was canceled but that we had an option for refund or a free ticket to the December event.
We have all followed up multiple times regarding the refunds we opted to receive. I personally received a few responses between March and July. I have followed up a few more times since then but they have stopped communicating with me at this point, likely because I stated I was starting to think this was a scam.
I have now found groups online dedicated to this issue with Steve and LCWW in addition to multiple reels online about this.
I also now receive 1 - 2 emails DAILY from them. They are spamming the crap out of my inbox.
I hope someone out there has the time and energy to start a class action lawsuit on these thieves at some point.
DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.

I would like to add that most financial institutions require you to dispute charges within a 60 day timeframe from the date your statement with the charge was issued (if you purchased far in advance you're out of luck regardless). I'm convinced they state their refunds will take 60 days so they can get out of the charge back timeline financial institutions have in place (for purchases made days prior to the show specifically).

UPDATE AS OF 7/1/2026:
STILL NO FURTHER RESPONSE OR REFUND.

I've gone twice and got a refund on a third time no problems.

I have been to two events in Philadelphia and had a good time at both. A third time the event was canceled and I had to email them for a refund which I did get. I'm not sure about all of these other reviews but my personal experience was fine. The cancellation was because another Cat event was going on at a similar time which I can understand I suppose but the cancellation was given with enough advance notice and I did receive my refund for my tickets. I would still go again.

7 Months with No Refund

I bought two tickets to the Sacramento cat show on January 22nd, 2025. Several days before the event, I received an email that notified me the show had been cancelled for reasons beyond their control. It was scheduled for March 15th, 2025, and rescheduled for December 13th. In the same email, they let customers know that they can either request a refund or keep the tickets for the new show. I opted for a refund, gave them my ticket ID, and they told me it could take up to 60 days for it to be processed. After waiting over the 60-day period, I emailed again. They apologized for the delay and said they are treating my case "with the highest priority and are working diligently to issue your refund as quickly as possible." That last email I got from them was in July. I opened a dispute with my bank, but they failed to help me. After waiting another month, I emailed again in August with no response. I'm just upset that it's taken so long over $50 and I have also made comments on their social media posts, but they removed them. According to their website, it is policy to give refunds for cancelled shows.

Not worthy of even one star

Only giving one star as there is no option to give zero stars. Bought tickets for Belfast show which was postponed then cancelled with one days notice. Promised a refund but no sign of it. Emailed them and no reply. Apparently common practice for this outfit. Applied for a refund through my bank and was successful as there is lots of evidence of their unscrupulous dealings.

Dallas Event Cancelled- No Refund or Notice

Purchased tickets for an event in Dallas. The event was cancelled without any notification. No response has been given to several emails requesting a refund - even one replying directly to the ticket confirmation.

Absolutely awful company

Absolutely awful company.
I booked to attend an event in London on Valentine’s Day. Rescheduled to March. Cancelled again.
I spent £80 on the tickets, and still no refund.
They started to reply for the first 3 emails then completely ignored me.
I can’t get the money back from my bank as it has now been too long.
Disgusting. Stealing peoples money.

PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, THIS IS A SCAM!!! Booked tickets over a year ago for a Belfast show in January, then they moved the date to July and literally 2 days before the event they decided to cancel it. Hotel booked, transport booked all gone to waste..what a shame that people have no humanity and think it's ok to steal people's money. Emailed them like a thousand times, messaged on all social media too, THEY JUST IGNORE YOU, No replies..no money back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CON ARTIST

Attended the Boston 2025 show

After attending the Boston 2024 show and having a great time, we decided to attend the Boston 2025 show as well. I'm glad we did! The cats were adorable, Steven is a very entertaining and knowledgeable judge, and the amount of promotion and support given to adoption and rescue organizations is amazing.

I would also like to mention that when certain breeds of cats were being shown, Steven made it a point to educate the crowd on how that particular cat can have health problems if not bred ethically, etc., and to support ethical breeding only.

People's house cats are able to enter and compete! So cute, so opposite of purebred-only mentality. After attending two years in a row, I can confidently say that I believe this event is run by people who genuinely care about and adore cats; it's not only about pageantry.

Now to address it: I'm seeing negative reviews on here and it honestly bums me out... Having an event all about celebrating cats and our love for them is such a rare thing to come around; it's a shame to see people upset. I hope the company can turn things around, we need events like this.

I remember back in school I'd get made fun of for loving cats; it wasn't always cool to be a crazy cat person. Now that we have events that embrace this idea, more shelters are getting donations, more cats are being adopted, and I see it as a win-win; for us and for cats. Why would we want that to go away? But that's just me.

Scam - don't waste your money

I bought tickets to the Belfast event easily over a year ago. The event was meant to be in January 2025, which then got moved to the summer - no big deal, I kept the tickets. Then a few days before the rescheduled event the venue was moved - again no big deal, still close by and happy to attend. Then about 2 days before the rescheduled event was due to take place it was cancelled. Supposedly those who had recently bought their tickets would get an instant refund, but what about those of us who had bought our tickets for the original date?! Email said don't worry they would reach out with our options - which they never did. Emails were sent requesting my refund, until it came back that the email address was invalid! No refund was ever sent and no explanation. Supposedly the event was cancelled due to vendors pulling out over a 'false' campaign by a competitor that the event was a scam - which quite clearly it was. Extremely disappointed and out of pocket for an event that never even happened.
