The whole transaction of part exchanging my camera for the used one I wanted was very easy and emails were replied to very quickly. I felt I was offered a good price for mine and delivery of my new camera was very quick. It arrived very well packaged and in the condition as described.

Camera in excellent condition and delivered quickly

I drove around 30 miles to the Colchester branch today as previous reviews rated staff 5 star with excellent knowledge & customer service. I had an issue with dirt on my Nikon's sensors which staff dealt with quickly & efficiently with explanations of what had been done. Tops for customer service, so if I have any DSLR issues in future it's LCE, Colchester for me!

I've been considering an upgrade to my Canon camera for some time. With so much available on-line and new offers every week I opted for in person service, I like to see who I'm buying from. It's quite big decision but you get straightforward advice, no pressure and not at all pushy - you can see and feel the equipment. Good trade in values on my old kit and all concluded with minimal fuss. I have no hesitation in recommending them. I know that if I have any issues they're just down the road and will help me out.

The staff are amazing, incredibly knowledgeable and approachable. Products are competitively priced products and the customer after care has always been great. It's the best camera shop for miles around what more is there to say other then if your in the area just go and visit.

I had a problem with my OM 1 mkii
They thought it was a software issue.
They spent time sorting this for me.
And charger for what they did.
That's what you call great service.

Amazing store! I exchanged two of my Canon FD lenses for a discount on a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8, and the whole process was really straightforward. James replied to my email, we arranged a date for the exchange, and he was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout. Highly recommended!

I have purchased from LCE on numerous occasions and I can honestly say that each time it has been a success. Items are well photographed ( would be nice to zoom in) , descriptions are consistent, prices are competitive and communication/delivery are quick and efficient.
