Superb Support!

Thank you once again to Layershift's technical support!
I tried and failed to setup a nameserver for my new site.
As Layershift has updated their dashboard, this feature doesn't appear be available.

After contacting support, I was guided through the steps to create and setup the nameserver, and also guided to the original dashboard, where the changes were made.

Just as a thought/suggestion, would it be possible to provide a link from Layershift's new dashboard to their original one?

Quite simply... AMAZING!

I run an agency with a focus on independent eCommerce brands, and no hosting company had been able to offer a service that could truly meet my needs. That's until I found Layershift.

eCommerce sites are difficult to host, because they are mission-critical and often unpredictable. Previously, I'd struggled with having to manage a costly fleet of VPSs, with hardware limits that could mean my sites would slow down or even crash - needing manual intervention - if there were to be a traffic spike. I knew there had to be a better way of hosting; one where each site was treated independently and given enough resources to scale with demand. After numerous calls with enterprise providers to try and design a bespoke autoscaling, true-cloud service, where I was always met with a "This isn't possible", a chance Google search showed me that Layershift had identified the same problem and were offering a solution in the form of Enscale.

The platform and software is first-class: it just works. Even moving sites from other providers can be automated, avoiding the headache of downloading and re-uploading large volumes of data. You can choose the exact resources each site needs in order to perform best, together with setting a limit on how far the resources can automatically scale up to cope with demand. No slow-downs, no crashes, and the servers are BY FAR the fastest I have used. Pages in WP-admin load in half a second, even on busy WooCommerce sites.

Aside from Layershift having created a solution that actually has agency owners and eCommerce stores in mind, their support team provides the best service I have ever used from any service provider (of which I have dealt with hundreds in recent years). They listen to your detailed questions, respond with even more detailed replies, and they will not stop until they have truly fixed the problem. Whereas other companies fob you off and tell you to speak to someone else, Layershift recognises that every issue impacts on yours and your clients' businesses and needs fully resolving, not just a textbook reply or vague promise.

Their technical knowledge is outstanding, and surpasses that of the support team of any hosting company I have dealt with. As a developer, when you speak to your hosting company, it's because you *really* need help, and it's so refreshing to be able to always speak to someone who understands the problem straight away, solves it quickly, and then provides detailed steps and screenshots showing you what they have done.

A big thank you to Tim, Head of Sales, who is always available to talk things through and provide great advice and customer care. Raul, the support manager, should also be commended for providing an excellent service - always taking the time to follow up and make sure every problem has truly been resolved. Everyone I've worked with from the support team has also been dedicated, efficient and highly knowledgeable too.

In short, Layershift are the gold standard of hosting companies and technology providers - they're the Worcestor Bosch of the internet world, and I wish they ran everything!

Amazing Service For A Web Agency

I run a small web agency in the UK and have used many host companies over the years from the largest ones to smaller ones.

They all had their different advantages as well as disadvantages and I always ended up not being happy with a certain part of their service - from customer service to the technical team not being helpful.

I've used Layershift for several years and I'm so happy with my interactions with them, their solutions are fantastic and they are always happy to advise me when I need direction on the best way to achieve something with my servers. I recommend them regularly and my last interaction was so great I've created an account on Trustpilot and have written my first review here.

Faultless service and friendly specialists who know their stuff

I recently had cause to leave Layershift purely because they didn't offer a hosting option that fit my requirements. I'm really sorry to have had to leave and for many years they have acted as hosts for a Cloud VPS server that hosted a number of my websites.
Throughout my time with them, their service has been superb and no matter what time of day or night I suffered an issue, there was always someone with the expertise to assist me and fix it. I would highly recommend Layershift to anyone who wants that friendly, helpful hand of a specialist to guide you through to the process of making sure your website/s are all working as they should. Don't be put off by the e-mail service that is used as correspondence between you and support staff because they always respond swiftly if you do have any issues. I also wanted to use this review to thank all the staff who've assisted me over the years.

Layershift Support Team for the Win!

I kind of don't want to let people know about Layershift so they have more time to help us.... I worry they'll get too popular!

They do a lot for us in all respects and are the single most helpful hosting company I've ever worked with. All our business goes there now and we've worked with them for a year, with many more to come...

Friendly, helpful, detailed, proactive. You can't beat Layershift's Support team. They literally make me smile and make my day.

Top notch technical support

In terms of technical support, Layershift is excellent in my view. I've been with them for 10 years and every time I have an issue or need them to explain something to me they always respond within a few hours and always polite and easy to understand. I'm not sure how their domain packages compare as I've not been with anyone else.

I moved to Layershift from another…

I moved to Layershift from another company. The move was actually all about support and the employees at the other company. After the horrible experience I had with my previous provider, finding Layershift was amazing. I have dealt with there support team a couple times since moving over and I can't imagine ever leaving. The responsiveness and friendliness have been a breath of fresh air.

Have used other hosting companies in …

Have used other hosting companies in the past and none come near to the service provided by Layershift. The customer service is outstanding and are always helpful with whatever queries or problems you may have even when its nothing to do with the actual service they are providing. I have had many problems with site issues which most have been resolved by them. Well recommended if you are looking for a hosting packages.

Fantastic Service & Server Speed

Moved to Layershift from another host due to continuing issues.
Layershift have been a breath of fresh air. Customer service has been fantastic from the word go, tech support fast and efficient and the VPS server so fast.

Excellent, Profession, Responsive Customer Service.

We have been a longterm customer of Layershift. It is very rare that we have the need to contact them. However, on the limited number of ocassions that we have had the need to contact them, they have been very responsive and have dealt with our enquiry in a professional and a courteous manner. As a manager of a large online business, I am very reassured that should we have the need or a problem that it will be taken care of by Layershift. I would highly recommend their services, if anybody reading this review requires any clarity from the point of view of a customer, please do not hesitate to contact efoam via email.

The best hosting service

We have several accounts in Jelastic Layershift, including the service Traffic Guard (CDN/WAF) and we are very satisfied.

The technical support team is extremely friendly, fast and efficient. Are always ready to help and that makes all the difference.

Excellent UK Hosting company

Great support from their support team, even a follow-up email to check everything was good.

Servers are very fast with no downtime and when a problem arises they are there to answer it very quickly, normally a few minutes.

A truly supportive experience

LayerShift have a real system of support. They promise to look after the server and let you concentrate on running your business.

I run a web design agency and so have hundreds of websites that I manage. Now that I've moved over to Layershift I'm able to devote all of my time to my own clients, rather than configure my servers.

Tickets I raise are answered within a few minutes ... always ... and their tech support team are so very helpful. They go well beyond my expectation of what I consider excellent service.

I feel that this really is a new world of web hosts. One where a company will do pretty much all of the leg work to create an environment where you are looked after and your assets are taken care of.

They are genuine, friendly and I feel that I can approach them with any problem and they would solve it for me (rather than just point things out, or say it's not part of their support service which was my previous experience with a well known fast host).

Technically, their servers are second to none - extremely fast and reliable.
