quality and service

Laybrook arranged delivery prior to Christmas which
within time scale they had promised.
Delivery man service was very good and all was installed on first floor master bedroom.
Compared to other electric adjustable beds company in UK, Laybrook beds price and offers were the best.
I had full knee replacement some months ago and is the best investment I have made, they are offering O percent installment offer which I had taken.
I find bed very comfortable and sleeping like a lord!
I have massage system bed and is excellent.
would highly recommend Laybrook, I had personally managed to select and try out beds and all staff including Ash were very helpful, by filling details of my wight, height and finding my requirements so the right type of bed can be ordered. and they did not rush me to commit for placing order.

Highly recommend…

The company I chose was a shot in the dark really, I looked at the massage system built in the mattress and It was already a done deal on my part!.... I'd ordered within 10 minutes.... A lovely lady called Donna called me the following day, I'd ordered the massage system & forgotten to order the mattress, we laughed and it was sorted and the usual wait was 21 days. To my suprise 3 days later was the delivery day.... Lovely delivery guy, explained it all. And here I am sat on the edge of my "firm side" massage system with mattress!..... So 😊.... Thank you all at Laybrooks for the quality, the excellent service and delivery!

Fantastic experience from start to…

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Visited the show room in Bicester and the sales person Ash was more than help. Selected our mattresses and bed style. Was kept up to date with manufacturing times and delivery schedules.
Bed arrived dead on the specified delivery date, installation team were exceptional, very polite and friendly.
It’s been roughly 3 weeks since the bed was delivered and I have left making my review until we have had time to get used to the new mattresses. We went for the standard mattress supplied in firm. First couple of nights took some getting used to the firmness ( only because our previous mattress was a hipnos 36 cm with mattress topper and very soft) but both myself and wife can’t agree more that 3 weeks down the line, we are sleeping much better and find the mattress very comfortable and supportive. No more aches and pains !!!
We purchased the adjustable bed due to my wife now needing to sleep elevated following her cancer operation. The movement is silent and very smooth, I even use it to watch TV in bed now 😁 it’s great.
Have to say, great company, fantastic quality and very reasonably priced.
This review is coming from someone who never leaves reviews, so if you are reading this, trust me, your whole experience will be great.

If I could! Iwould give 100out of 10 !!
right through from the beginning when the sales rep phoned me and explained everything to me , my bed is made to my specification and has a massager , the engineers came after 21 days and fitted the bed , they were polite and professional and all was fixed in 20 mins .
I was kept informed all the way through whilst the bed was being made .
u very much to all involved making my bed at Laybrooks.
I'm absolutely delighted with my bed .... Barbara

Helpful advice

I had an unhurried meeting at Laybrook during which Stuart helped me to match the bed and matress to my needs, taking into account my size, weight and restrictions in movement. I am very satisfied with the result and have a comfortable night's sleep.

As is normal these days

As is normal these days, they wanted a review far too early, but now I have what I need I will do their review.
Kinda surprised in the beginning that it would take 21 days unless you paid £245 then you can have in a week ( who are trying to con )
Being disabled I asked for it earlier ( waste of time) however after 21 days it arrived.
Wasn’t happy with mattres so requested a softer one, which your allowed to do up to 14 days, quess what, told it would take 21 days to deliver (ho!ho!ho!)
All this from a company that is a hour and a half down the road,
Product good mattress good ( although first one fitted wrong apparently).
Shame about the rubbish service.

All our beds are manufactured here at our factory to order, we do not carry stock beds, and therefore the lead time includes the time to manufacture and arrange delivery of the bed. Our standard 21 working day delivery is still one of the fastest in the industry for an Adjustable bed. As you say we do offer a fast delivery service for those wanting their bed quicker, but naturally we have to charge as this impacts production and delivery schedules.
The majority of our customers have a health condition or disability of one form or another that impacts on their daily life, and therefore it would be impossible for us to prioritise one customer over another based on this, much as we sympathise with our customers and their needs and at times we would like to do exactly that.
We deliver throughout the UK on a daily basis and therefore again, it would be impossible to prioritise customers based on their location. We try to get to each customer as quick as we can.
I'm happy to hear that overall your are pleased with the product, and we hope that you enjoy many good night's sleep on the bed, which is our priority.

From time of ordering the adjustable…

From time of ordering the adjustable bed.iwas kept up to date with how things were progressing.Delivery was scheduled for 8am,they arrived at 7.45am but we were ready for them so we let them in.The two guys that brought the bed were brilliant very friendly,they had a problem getting the old bed down the stairs but once down the new bed was installed very quickly.All done by 8.20am. Brilliant.Fully recommend Laybrook

Great Service and Friendly Staff

Originally very disappointed that the bed I wanted was unavailable but I was satisfied with my chosen substitute. The bed fits into the room very well and the mattress is extremely comfortable.
Everything from start to finish, including delivery, was dealt with in a friendly, professional manner.
Delivery was right on time and dismantling of my old bed and set up of my new was carried out in less than an hour with no mess left behind. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company for its service.

Well worth a look for specialised quality Beds!

What can i say?...... From start to finish i was given every detailed answers to my questions regarding ordering a 4ft adjustable bed for my disabled Mother and the extra items that we needed. There was NO pushiness, NO sales pitch, just straightforward answers especially where the prices were concerned. We ordered the bed and other items and i can honestly say i was kept informed about the delivery which was excellent, and was spot on time. The guys who delivered it went straight to work and erected the bed and the added items. They were very polite and professional. We highly recommend this Company for sure and my Mum was absolutely over the moon with her New Bed, so thank you Laybrook for such a reasonable price for all she got. Also compared to other companies which were reluctant to tell you the prices and when you got the brochure down they were extortionate. Laybrook is second to none in my opinion. Thank you for everything!

Brilliant customer service

I was impressed with the lengths that Laybrook went to in relation to a problem that I had with a recent order of a pair of adjustable beds.
I would add that the problem was largely of my own making but Laybrook excelled at correcting the issue at their expense

Excellent experience

Fitters arrived 15 mins early at 0800 but waited for correct time to start. Lee and Vernon were great - extremely polite and careful. Took old double bed away and put new adjustable bed in carefully and went through the details and mechanism. 1 hour 5 mins from start to finish. Highly recommended

Exceptional service

We needed a low, single bed for my mum, who has Parkinson's, which could also be raised at the head and feet end, and up and down. From the first web chat, through telephone calls, to the engineer visiting, I can say we were blown away by the exceptional service. Would thoroughly recommend.

We visited the showroom and the product was demonstrated in a friendly professional manner with not a trace of sales pressure. We proceeded with the purchase. Delivery and removal of redundant material occurred as promised, excellent company to do business with. Thank you Donna.

Disappointingly my Laybrook bed only…

Laybrook technical team, only from my photographs, are now suggesting misuse, although not very specific. Why did the electric motor case explode? How did the plethora of loose fittings, bent bolts, pulled sunken screwheads and oval shaped drilled holes appear ?
Laybrook initially sent their engineer who, apart from fitting the replacement motor back-to-front, did not recognise that the hand controller was also operating in reverse.
Laybrook seem quite comfortable hiding behind the expired warranty although they should recognise there was a problem. They did offer an unappealing £650 one year guaranteed repair, and I did give a three star rating because for 60% of its use the bed was excellent.

I'm sorry you have felt the need to leave this review. Having looked into your case, my understanding is that the bed was installed in June 2020 and the motor on the bed failed in Oct 2024 and this was replaced under warranty, although there was a question mark at the time as to the cause of the failure and if this should be chargeable or covered by warranty, as it's unusual for the motors to fail in normal operation. I understand that the 3rd party engineer initially fitted this motor the wrong way around, which was remedied within days and confirmed that all was working well. The motor being the wrong way around would not damage the bed.

In July 2025 you contacted us to say that there was an issue with the bed, on investigation the metalwork on the bed was damaged and when this was reviewed by our technical team, from our many years of experience, it was deemed that this failure was not due to the normal operation of the bed and was therefore chargeable, the bed was also outside of its warranty at this time, having been installed over 5 years ago. I believe a quote for the repair work was sent but the work was never completed.

Future proofed my sisters bed

So happy with the whole service from Laybrooks!
Stuart was so helpful from the very beginning and double checked any alterations that we needed could be carried out on our chosen bed. We opted for the high-lo carers mechanism but had to have the frame lowered as my sister’s only 5’ tall. The bed was ready earlier than we expected and delivered in the allocated time slot. It was a bit complicated because it was going to my sisters care home but they acknowledged that and took note of the Managers number so they could liaise directly with her. The delivery men were apparently polite and friendly and made sure the staff knew how to operate the bed. My sister is absolutely delighted with it and keen to show it off to anyone & everyone!
