Beware of Laurie’s Inn

Travelers Beware of Laurie’s Inn

Recently I stayed Laurie’s Inn located in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia Canada.

Huge mistake. As I made my way to the room people were sitting outside on their porch chairs & talking loud, smoking & coughing which I could hear with doors & windows closed.

Although they claimed the room was clean, it felt very old, dirty and run down.

Kim Jenkins, the manager at Laurie’s Inn was most difficult and argumentative. Reluctantly she spoke with the owner, who not only refused repayment for one night but both nights that I was scheduled to stay.

Fortunately, I went through Booking.com. Only after I spoke with Booking.com did they agree to not charging the second night.

No thanks to Laurie’s Inn, but thank you Booking.com.
