Lancome Customer Services have definitely out done themselves.
They inadvertently advertised a 30ml product at £10 (should have been about £50) When my order arrived it contained 2 x 7ml of the product instead of 2 x 30ml.
Quick email to Customer Services and a prompt return email stating that not only would I receive a full refund but I would receive the 30ml for free. True to their word...my money was refunded and my free 30ml product arrive. Absolutely blown away by their kindness and generosity. I for one will continue to buy Lancome.
Do not order from these scammers
I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a lipstick and two juicy tube lipglosses from these scammers on March 16th and have received no dispatch email. They withdrew €74 from my bank account on the 22nd of March. I recently found out that juicy tubes were discontinued in 2018 so why were they available to purchase on the website? I looked at their website recently and they have now been removed. So basically they were selling items that are probably out of date or no longer in stock and couldn't be bothered taking them down. I sent two polite emails and both have been ignored. I'm not letting them away with this there was nothing wrong with my €74 when they took it from my account. This is fraud. The worst experience I have ever had with ordering online and I order a lot online. I should have read the reviews. *Do not order from these scammers*. 84% bad reviews and the remaining good reviews are about products and not the website. Says it all really doesn't it?!
Trick to make a purchase
I received an e-mail offering free gifts to make a purchase I made an $118.72 purchase. No gifts followed. Why the deceptive e-mail tricking me to make a purchase? I will be buy from Thrive they follow through and do not deceive. I have sent over 6 e-mails and not one response. No customer service and 100% deception.
For a long standing company as Lancome is, why the bait and switch why the trickery?
Terrible customer service
I should have read reviews before ordering anything from their website. I used many Lancôme products before and I received ad about their gift promotion. I didn’t really need any products at that time but their gifts looked very appealing. I placed an order for $100 and then selected some gifts. Once I added my credit card numbers at check out gifts disappeared from my cart. I started over, selected gifts and after entering the credit card number the same thing happened. I placed order anyway and then contacted customer support to see the reason.
It’s not super fast to get their customer support, but after 15 min waiting someone named Ta’Yasmine replied. She is the rudest person ever. I explained all the situation to her and I was answered that gifts can not be combined with any other promotions. I was disappointed because the promotion that I used was 20% off since I signed up for their SMS program and it was not disclosed anywhere that If I sign up I won’t receive the gift.
I asked that lady to send me return label as it said on their website that you can have free return if your order includes foundation or fragrance and my order has both.
And I was shocked when she replied to me: “You want to return because of free gifts”.
I mean… seriously? That’s my money and I get to decide if I want to place a return for any reason if it’s because I wanted to participate their promotion offer or because I didn’t like the product. It doesn’t matter. That’s my rights to return the product.
Then she started telling me that I have to pay for return myself even though their refund policy says that you can ask for return label if you order foundation.
After some time explaining to her the reason I’m eligible for free return she finally told me she will send me a return label.
I never experienced such a terrible customer service. Lancôme you should be ashamed of having someone like Ta’Yasmine working with your clients.
I regret that I spent so much money before using their fragrance and cosmetics. Never again!

Poor website and customer service experience!!!!! Will not bother to try ordering items from them again, it was a waste of time. I've never ordered their products from their website before so I wanted to try it out especially since there's a promotion going on and I could use the welcome promo code. It was unfair to see that the gift items have been added to the cart but removed later on in the process of checking out! Tried having the order cancelled or getting the gifts added back in and apparently neither option could be possible. And sadly, I'll have to pay for the cost to ship this order back to Lancome. What a terrible site and customer service.
Absolutely Dreadful Experience, Really shocked by bad customer relations.
Missed a promotion code for a gift and straight after placing order contacted them to cancel order - they lied and said they couldn't. Their website was crashing and the gift code kept disappearing. When is did work it had removed the gift code and processed my order. In their own terms and conditions it states you can cancel within so many days. They refused to canel my order! They told me to refuse the parcel instead - could not do this as I was not in when it was delivered and driver left on doorstep. Contacted and asked about the free gift (literally some miniatures that I would find useful for a weekend away) and was told NO. No, not even as a good will gesture. Been loyal to them for years but they do not repay this. Trying to negotiate with them is pointless. They do not want to know - they do not deserve any loyalty. Sorry Lancome but Clarins will not get my business.

I ordered a 30ml bottle of ADVANCED GÉNIFIQUE SERUM
CHINESE NEW YEAR 2022 LIMITED EDITION DESIGN FACE SERUM from the website on 29/03/2022.
I along with hundreds of others have either had orders cancelled, or 7ml of the product sent instead of the 30ml.
My order has been cancelled completely after questioning what was happening with it as I saw others were being sent the wrong ml out. They have tried to palm me off with paltry 20% off voucher instead. Rather insulting, and is an absolute waste as I will never order anything else from the company again.

I ordered a discounted bundle with my first purchase 20% off and delivery company said they tried to deliver it, and which they didn't. I was UNABLE TO TRACK with their tracking number what so ever. Now I call and the customer service say the package is LOST AND parcel been returned back to lancome .I called them and ask if I could reorder the with the same discounted price, since I never receive the package. BUT they could not honor the discount to me, and I have to wait another 10 business day for the package to returned back to LANCOME and maybe another 5 business day for refund. Do not purchase anything from LANCOME website, their customer service is like a complete JOKE . Very very poor service, I would give their a negative if I can. I ordered perfume BOGOF and delivery company said they tried to deliver it. Now parcel been returned back to lancome .I called them told them I had not received my parcel, could they send it back out they said no ,they could not honor the BOGOF again!! So even though items were paid for they would not help out in any way . Do not use lancome to purchase anything. Very very poor service.

I ordered several times from them and it was either out of stock or lost by the courier (same reason as everyone else taking time to leave them a feedback here), The person I have exchanged emails with from customer service was so rude and unprofessional. I placed an order in nov 2021, half of which was missing after emailing several times I was told items were out of stock and I should expect a refund. Another few emails and was I was told refund is being processed and should have it within 5 working days. A month later and still no refund…as I had paid through PayPal I had to open a dispute which took another month. Finally after over a total of 3 months I was given my refund through PayPal. I know lancome is a good company in terms of their products but as for their customer service and delivery experience this was appalling, for anyone buying online I’d suggest paying through PayPal just so you are protected if anything goes wrong because lancome won’t be any use.

AVOID. I did order online but never received. I didn't get any update that they not going to send me because is out of stock. I just know about that then i ring them a few times because on first call I heard that my order is with delivery company and I should hear from them soon than after few days I ring them again because never received any updates so that second time lady said that is out of stock and I will not going to receive it so she said that they will issue a REFUND.but was really strange because one time was already with delivery company and after few days my order disappeared and become out of stock. But again nothing happened and didn't received any refund. So good that I did pay though PayPal so I open dispute and finally get my money back. But without my calls than would never happened. Avoid.

Placed an order on Jan 12 2022, and I still don’t have it. On feb 1st I check with customer service online on their chat and they reply saying it did not ship because they needed a “ billing address verification”. Great i asked because I would never had known they were waiting for that ! After verification I was assured that my order would ship that week. Feb 12 I still have nothing so go back to the chat and ask where my order is - this time they don’t know why it did not ship, and also oh I cannot cancel it either . It’s pretty amazing ! No shipping date and I cannot cancel either. This is a chargeback to my CC tomorrow. What a scam.

Do not buy from this site….the customer service is dreadful and they do not send your order out for 3 months. No responses whatsoever on follow ups…then when you eventually get a hold of the, they have the audacity to blame technical issues. No apology.
Eventually when they sent out my product…it was the wrong item and it did not include the alleged gift I was supposed to receive.

Lancome sent me an expired foundation
Can I give 0 star or even negative star? I received an expired foundation! It labeled ‘EXP 12/21’! Serious? How could this happen Lancome? I wonder if their other products I bought are expired too? I’ve been a loyal customer for more than 10 years, and even I started to use La Mer about 3 years ago, I still continue with some Lancome products, but now I don’t see the necessity, bye

Can I give ZERO STARS? Received an email offering 40% off any product - The code didn't work. Additionally, there was an offer for FREE 6-Piece Gift with $39.00 purchase. That didn't work either.
Contacted Customer Service, 3 phone calls to get a decent connection. The Rep couldn't figure it out, after 20 minutes of trying, put me on hold to email her supervisor. Line was disconnected. Tried calling back another Customer Service person. She put me on hold and once again, disconnected. Signed up for offer of 20% off if I provided my email; gave them the email but no 20% off. Love the products, too challenging to do business with Lancome. After 25 years of loyalty, I'll now be going elsewhere.
Lancome offers no consideration during pandemic to loyal customers
I was a Lancome customer for well over 30 years and was part of their Elite rewards program. Over the pandemic, I worked from home so didn't order as much. When I recently wanted to make a purchase and also use points, I found I had none. I called and wrote Lancome about this, since other companies (airlines, hotels, etc.) extended their rewards program in consideration of the pandemic (I never knew before Lancome points expire). Lancome refused to reinstate my points during a phone conversation and Lancome has not responded to a couple emails to discuss. This is NOT good business practice as they clearly do not care about their loyal customers. I have deleted their app and will never, ever buy Lancome again.
