Kept reloading, frustrating

Regarding my booking (JTM522287) for a Hop-On Hop-Off bus:

The company changed the meeting point after I had already booked. They informed me only afterward that I had to go to a different pickup location because of an event. The new meeting point was much farther away, and if I hadn't shown up, I would have lost both my ticket and my money.

So I had no choice but to pay for a taxi to the new location.

When I arrived, I was told that, because of the same event, the bus route would be significantly shorter than usual. The company clearly knew about these changes in advance, yet they never mentioned them in the activity description before people booked. Instead, they informed customers only after payment, leaving them with two options:

- Accept the changes.
- Don't show up and lose your ticket.

I expected Klook to support its customers, especially since they earn a commission from every booking. Unfortunately, dealing with their customer service felt like talking to bots. They said they contacted the operator, who refused a refund. The only solution Klook offered was 30% of the booking value as KlookCash.

This is the worst customer protection I've experienced. In hindsight, I should have disputed the charge through my bank instead of relying on Klook to resolve the issue.

To make matters worse, this is the third time something like this has happened to me with Klook. Every time I had evidence showing I was in the right, yet the only compensation ever offered was 10–30% in KlookCash.

So far, I've lost more than €30 because of situations like this.

Be careful this company would never help you if you got scammed, I wish if I could attach a screenshot of their response here but I can't.

I recently booked an activity in Japan for October 2026. I paid $422.68 for this. Soon after, I realized, I had double booked this activity which was included in the package I had already booked with my tour. We're travelling a few days ahead before the tour package starts. Hence I booked a day outing with Klook. I intended to rebook another activity not included in the package. When I cancelled the klook booking i noticed they were paying $31 less. Upon inquiry, i was informed it was for "satisfaction guarantee " an additional premium upgrade/insurance rather than klook's standard service promise. I feel tricked and trapped in to these add ons. I will definitely not be dealing with them again!! Customers BEWARE before you pay, You may be paying more than you thought!! Read the finer prints and add ons which are sneakily inserted. I paid $422.68 and $31.38 is not a big deal. Its the feeling of being cheated!!!

It was easy to use and customer support was very quick to respond when I had a question.
