I just paid a service company over $600 to repair our double oven. Turns out the 2 rivets holding the door-close switch failed presumably during a self cleaning cycle. The rivets appear to be aluminum... See more

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Horrible. All I needed was the part number for a defective bottom vent part. I HOUR and 42 MINUTES ON HOLD. SHE COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO LOOK IT UP. TRANSFERRED ME TO A DEAD NUMBER THAT RANG A FAST BUSY SIGNAL!!!
Love the oven but hop and pray I never have a reason again to call Kitchenaid.
I bought a gas cook top 2 years ago
I bought a gas cook top 2 years ago. After 1 year the rubber bush which supposed to hold the grill started melting and eventually the grill was moving frequently while cooking and often fall from the base. When I called customer service, absolutely no help and they didn’t even know what to do in such situation. I do not recommend anyone to buy this product.

Kitchenaid has no idea what customer service is! Awful experience with a online purchase with no real resolution. Never again!
Awful returns/customer service
Awful returns service. It took a month and a half and numerous chasing emails to replace my faulty kettle. I expected far more from a high end brand
Never Buying Another KitchenAid Product
I'm a long-time KitchenAid customer. Well, I was. After receiving this appliance, a lift-bowl stand mixer, I believe this is my last KitchenAid purchase. The paddle, dough hook, and whisk that came with this mixer are not stainless steel - as would be appropriate and expected for equipment coming into contact with food, particularly acidic mixes and raw batters. Instead they are some sort of already oxidized metal with a grey, paint-like coating that is already flaking off before a single use. This is disgusting and not even remotely acceptable for use with food. When trying to reach customer service via both phone and the chat feature over the course of a week, no one ever got back to me. KitchenAid used to be a top of the line appliance option. I see now that it is just another overpriced piece of junk from China.
FYI, when asked for a review of my purchase by KitchenAid, I sent in the above message and of course they denied the posting. It didn’t meet their standards. Apparently, their standards don’t involve honest reviews. I still haven’t been able to reach anyone at customer service nearly a month after the purchase.
2 hours 45minutes wait time…
We ended up with 2 hand blenders as Christmas presents. I have spent endless hours trying to get to customer support. They say they will call back, but they never do. I tried the live chat but once AI is done in the chat and turns it over to a human they never answer. Wait time today was 2 hours 45 minutes. who has that kind of time? I remember when Kitchen aid was a great company.
My attachment cover fell off while I was running mixer
I was using my kitchenaid bowl mixer on a solid counter, when it started shaking and the attachment cover fell off into my bowl. I turned it off immediately but now it won't turn the motor tries but turning mechanism is frozen. I've used the mixer all of 3 times. Customer service is horrid 2.5 hours before my phone call would be answered. So I go to website and they want 5.00 to help me. They said it was refundable but I don't believe it. So yeah 200.00 for a mixer I've used 3 times and now will have to trash it????
We purchased a high-end KitchenAid…
We purchased a high-end KitchenAid built-in refrigerator in September 2025, and it failed in less than two months. The freezer fully thawed, food spoiled, and a service technician diagnosed a sealed-system refrigerant leak—a major defect in a nearly new appliance.
Despite being under warranty, Whirlpool/KitchenAid and Home Depot has recommended repairing or rebuilding the refrigerator through a third-party service instead of providing a replacement. This process involved long hold times, repeated calls, and relying on a small loaner fridge during the holidays.
Consumers should be aware: a premium price does not guarantee reliability or an appropriate resolution when a serious defect occurs.
Customer service is horrible
I was charged two times for a stand mixer, they ended up sending me two of the same item. I ended up returning one of them. It has been a month and I still have not received a response or any update on my refund. Getting through customer service is insane. It takes about two hours to get through. This whole experience has been horrible. I will never deal with this brand again.
Kitchenaid Useless
I dont know how their products are, i have always heard they were expensive but made well, but you cant even use them because the morons have the worst website, completely useless! They offer no support as well, so you cant even contact someone and ask for a manual. And if they can screw up something as easy as a simple manual download i gotta imagine their company sucks...
Almost a scam website
If product works, you are in luck. Otherwise, forget your money. Here is what is wrong:
0. You will get the order but website will keep saying that order still in delivery. This is so user can not use online return.
1. Live support takes 20 minutes to two hours to connect, no kidding.
2. Once, you are connected, they do not help and ask to call
3.If you call, wait time says 1:45 minutes. Absolute joke on their customers.
4. Most of review on their website are paid.
5. If you try to write fair review, they most likely will not let it publish.
6. You can try email, but no one replies.
So, if you want kitchenware products, buy from a retil store so that you can return the junk.
Did not ship as promised, put me in a terrible situation over the holidays
Needed a replacement pump for my dishwasher, and was willing to pay twice the price for a replacement part compared to other vendors from the website because of the website's delivery guarantee to ship out same day. My order was put on hold with no notification and not shipped out until I check on it 4 days later when it failed to arrive. I am beyond disappointed. I'm a single mom with a small kid and it's been impossible hosting people for the holidays with no washer. They betrayed us, and I feel like I'm falling over.

I am a Homebuilder / Developer in the North Al area , I have used Kitchen Aid Appliances in my personal homes for over 25 yrs . My newest home is just over 5 yrs old now and used a complete Kitchen Aid package
My Ice Maker went out at 5 yrs and 2 months, paid $600.00 for a new compressor, 1 yr later it’s out again
My built in Microwave also just over 5 yrs old is rusting inside, almost caught fire a few days ago , and has to be replaced along with the built in trim kit ,
I have always loved Kitchen Aid and told 100’s of customers how much I loved them .
I just want everyone to know that Kitchen Aid has gone to hell on quality and I’ll never buy it again for any of the new homes I build and always tell my customers what my experience has been with 5 yr old appliances
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. I got an internet coupon for a stand mixer which my daughter wanted. I ordered it and received and email it was shipped. Two weeks later no package. Tried to check online for status. Online system won’t accept order number, so I call, phone system tells me too many numbers in order number. I wait 35 minutes to speak to someone who transfers me. Then I wait another 95 minutes to speak to another person who says. The automated system cancelled the order. Can’t tell me why or when. No email just cancelled. So disappointed. Website sucked, phone system sucked, customer service sucked. At least I got my money back. Horrible!
This is an active predatory scheme to…
This is an active predatory scheme to not allow customers to cancel and get a refund on an order and they purposefully obstruct the process in order to make you want to give up. The customer service line takes an hour to talk to someone and so I wasted an insane amount of time trying to cancel my order. Then they don’t cancel it and say they have no record of ever speaking to me. Completely unacceptable and I will never shop here again AND NOR SHOULD YOU!
Class Action Lawsuit
We purchased all KitchenAid appliances and the Frig and Oven are Garbage (with all types of issues), both have issues that Whirpool know about and they will not repair or fix...Home Depot will not do anything either, they tell you to go to Whirlpool....I will never buy anything from Home Depot or Whirlpool again...This is a Class Action lawsuit, Many thousands of people have given Whirpool a rating of "1" so be careful....This is not how business should be conducted....
Customer service number not working!!!
Customer service number not working!!!
I was sent a gift voucher as my hubby bought me a present which never worked.
I have just gone to redeem it only to find when I paid it deducted the 25% offer which was online!!!!!
How ridiculous is this.
I want to cancel and speak to someone as I might have gone for the bigger one/
Please can I have a number that does not cut off!
I have an old Kitchen aid that I love but customer service is shocking
Awful company don’t buy
Awful company don’t buy, their customer service is awful the website is terrible and shows errors when ordering and then duplicated payments and orders so out of pocket. Trying to get money back as was sent two items instead of one and had to pay both although their errors. Struggling to get any help with return and refund. I just wanted a refund and return so I don’t have hundreds taken from my account. I keep emailing and get reply’s only apologising and I keep having to explain the same things. So unhappy it’s terrible that they take your money and don’t offer good service and duplicate they just need to sort their website out.
1 star too many !
Kitchenaid customer service is a shambles, unresponsive and unhelpful. They returned my faulty mixer to the wrong address then advised me to take legal action to recover the mixer when the person who they actually sent it to was not responding !! The repair Company they use are also unhelpful and despite the address being put inside the box the mixer was in, they returned it to a wrong address, the returned mixer was still faulty.
I've asked for my complaint to be escalated to their legal department and they are either ignoring request. All they do on the phone and in emails is apologise, without offering solutions.
Not the beacon of excellence you expect from a name like Kitchen Aid
Truly appalling Service
Truly appalling Service. We had one of their coffee machines. The first one was returned twice and eventually replaced. The replacement broke down three times and the KitchenAid have become extremely obstructive in issuing a refund. They would rather customers keep returning faulty goods for repair until the warranty runs out or you lose patience and give up. I have no idea how Kitchenaid is allowed to continue trading. Do yourself a favour, buy from an alternative manufacturer
