Keter Store It Out Darwin…not fit for purpose

Bought a Keter Store It Out Darwin 1150L from B&Q. Firstly don’t expect the instructions to make much sense 🤷‍♂️
Eventually built it but in less than a week after a bit of wind this built for outdoors bin store had its door ripped off and hinge snapped 😞 for me this has fundermental design flaws which do not make it suitable to be out in anything other than a light breeze.
I am currently waiting for Keter to reply to my service request and we’ll see where we go from there.

Don’t waste your money!

I purchased the keter Marvel Plus 71 Gallon Resin Deck Box and it only lasted <6 months (including over winter when hardly used). Then one day the lid completely broke off! I reached out to Keter directly since they state they stand by their products, and their response is that they don’t stock the replacement part I would need to fix the lid. They also couldn’t give a functional lifespan of the product. Surely it’s not less than 6 months?! Save yourself time and money and buy a product that will actually last with customer service that can actually help and a company that actually stands by their warranty!

I was after a planter for the garden

I was after a planter for the garden , the keter one ticked all the boxes , it looked good , it will never rot , quick assembly . I decided to buy 2 to create a background to a seating area in the garden. Quick delivery and well coordinated .

I contacted Keter as I needed spare…

I contacted Keter as I needed spare parts for my Factor 8 x 6 shed, but I have been informed Keter do not sell spare parts to their customers, they only supply warranty parts. How does a customer who require parts go about obtaining them? After all, nothing lasts forever and at some point something will break or wear out. Imagine if this was common practice in the automotive industry, it seems utterly ludicrous that Keter doesn't have an aftersales/service department to look after customers who have non warranty issues.

Website clear and easy to navigate. External and internal measurements very helpful for each product viewed. Good spring sale reductions on price. Prompt delivery and good customer support.

Disrgaceful customer service

Items were missing from the kit, I have now built the bin storage unit as per the directions but cannot complete the final door nor secure the doors properly. The Keter contact us webpage doesnt function and I am unable to contact the company by other means. Disgraceful way to treat customers.

Bench storage

Bench storage - Ordering on line was straightforward. Informed of delivery by date, then another confirmation for actual date. Driver helpful and friendly.
Product excellent value and instructions easy to follow. At certain stages it does need two people which is difficult when you live on your own. I did struggle in parts and did not realise until near the end one of the connections had come out only slightly but then proved a problem. I now have to take apart and reassemble.
I would have paid extra if the offer of ready assembled was available.

Poor quality and filmsy products

I honestly don't know how this company is rated so highly... ordered a 6×6 shed and it's awful! The material is so poor quality and flimsy, it's even blown over and disassembled twice. I don't regret much in life but purchasing a Keter shed is one of my biggest regrets. Waste of money.

Bad experience

So it arrives damaged. Now having to wait for replacement and they expect me to now have to book slot at tip and drive to dispose of the damaged part. Useless customer services
