BED BUGS- ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, UNLESS YOU HAVE A FEW THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS YOU WANT TO WASTE ON BED BUGS.
I DON'T TYPICALLY LEAVE BAD REVIEWS BECAUSE IT TAKES TIME THAT I USE FOR DOING SOMETHING MORE CONSTRUCTIVE; HOWEVER, THIS IS AN EXCEPTION TO MY RULE.
I visited the Kellogg Conference Hotel at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC for a business conference on May 14-16, 2019 and woke up to a bite on my arm. It was extremely itchy and grew in size the next day. I reported the bite to the front office who said they would create an incident report. I thought perhaps it was a spider bite. When I arrived back to my state, I went to the doctor's office who indicated it was an insect bite. A few days later, I woke up to another bite and days later to more bites only to learn I have bed bugs. The bed bugs originated from the hotel during my stay and has now infested my home. BED BUGS ARE AN EXPENSIVE PROCESS YOU DO NOT WANT TO ENCOUNTER! I never once experienced bed bugs until now, I never knew how devasting it can be.
I contacted the hotel to resolve the matter and they handed me off to their insurance company who has been slow in rectifying this matter. The bed bugs have infested my home and no one is doing anything to resolve this issue before it grows into a much bigger problem. It's been over a month now and still no solution. I would never stay at Kellogg Conference Hotel at Gallaudet University again and I'm making certain to share with my family, friends, business associates, and anyone who will listen. It certainly makes me never want to visit Washington, DC again. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, UNLESS YOU HAVE A FEW THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS YOU WANT TO WASTE ON BED BUGS. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, THEY DO NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS AS HUMANS, YOU ARE TREATED LIKE A BUSINESS TRANSACTION THAT COULD TAKE A LONG TIME TO RESOLVE.
