KBS Strip doesn't work on Kubota Orange Powdercoat
KBS deletes 1 & 2 star reviews from their site, and my initial review of this product was deleted from the website two times, so I'm posting it again. KBS Stripper is advertised as removing powder coating, so I decided to try it on the quick attach plate off my Kubota. I followed the instructions and left the product on for 2 hours and it did not affect the factory orange powder coat at all. The coating did not wrinkle, lift or soften at all. I contacted the company for a return and they told me that 2 hours was the minimum contact time for the product to work and that I should put the part out in the sun so that the heat would help it work. I tried again for 3-4 hours of contact time out in the sun, making sure it stayed wet and it did not work as advertised. The company sent an RMA to return the product, but in the fine print is states that if the bottle is opened, it will be disposed of upon return and no credit will be given. So why did you send the RMA in the first place if you knew I opened it up and told you that it doesn't work ? Just another company that won't stand behind the products it sells. Buyer beware, it does not work on all powder coatings. Looks like you won't be deleting this review...
