* This is an update to my review - after my animals became ill.
My daughter noticed that the pouches of lamb were:

One of my cat's refused to eat it, one did and was ill for a week. Unfortunately our dog ate the cat's dinner that was left, and he also became ill.

I must stress that I am not blaming James well beloved as this is a brilliant food, but I should not have been sold food that was over a year out of date.

ORIGINAL REVIEW

I Ordered nearly £100 worth of James Wellbeloved cat food pouches from this company.
Firstly the order was delayed and I only found out after chasing them.
... But secondly, when it did arrive, it had been so poorly packaged that the parcel arrived broken open and half the contents were smashed up.

I contacted them by email to advise them of this and sent them photographic evidence. All they were interested in was how many pouches were damaged so they could make a claim off of the Post Office. There was no mention of replacements or refunds.
When I told them that I should like 4 out of the 16 packs replaced as they had been damaged and that I wasn't confident that the pouches hadn't been punctured or perforated, I was met with an out right refusal as it is "their company policy" only to refund items where the food has leaked out all over the order.

On top of this they looked like returned items as they had differing price tags and some of the boxes were sellotaped up.

I shall not be using this company again and I could only recommend them to my WORST ENEMY.

CAVEAT EMPTOR .......... Let the Buyer Beware!

Faulty item received, have tried to contact them several times, no response. They still have the money I paid for the item that arrived broken.

Never before have I experienced such brilliant service from people in the pet trade who really know what they are talking about. I cannot praise them enough

Items removed from my order without notice
Items exchanged for similar products without notice
Short dated products delivered
Package left in a communal garden on the wet grass

If I'd wanted the similar products, I would have ordered them. This is like going into a food shop, asking for beans, them being sold out and because you'd asked for beans, being forced to buy peas instead with no option to say no.

Really pathetic, if you're sold out of something, don't sell it
