Excellent Seeds and Super Fast Shipping – Highly Recommended!

I’ve ordered from Jungle Seeds multiple times now and have been consistently impressed with the quality of their service and products. Good viable seeds and fast dispatch and delivery times. Every order has arrived much faster than expected, well-packaged and clearly labeled. It's obvious they care about their customers and the seeds they supply.

If you're into growing rare or challenging plants, Jungle Seeds is a great choice. I've had a consistently positive experience and will definitely continue ordering from them.

Great seed company

Great seed company. I always get what I order and no issues at all I have made numerous decent-sized orders over the last few years to supply my nursery.

Difficult business to be in as they are relying on the customers skill to germinate the seed to make them a good purchase or not. I have been growing from seed for years and you will never have 100% success especially trying newer exotic plants every year.

Very disappointed

982 Abelmoschus Pacific Strain “musk mallow”. (Hibiscus). - not one of these 10 seeds has germinated in a heated propagator set at the correct temperature!

804 Abelmoschus (hibiscus) - only one of these ten seeds has germinated and it appears NOT to even be a hibiscus - it is some sort of climber!!
VERY DISSAPOINTED

Very mixed results

Very mixed results. Seeds bought at full price have germinated well (Canna tuerckheimii and Tecoma stans) but the "triffid pack" containing 7 species has been a complete waste of money (I bought the pack even though I only wanted for myself Solanum quitoense but wouldn't have if I had known they only supplied 5 seeds of that plant. I was going to grow the other seeds in the pack to give away). Only one species has germinated and in the remaining species not a single germination. I can only assume these value packs (although not really good value as there are very few seeds of each species) are put together using older seed which has lost viability. They have been treated in line with instructions, in gentle heat, in the same good quality compost as my other seeds from other suppliers (incidentally with great success) so I know it must be an issue with the seeds as they have been given well over the normal germination time. It is very unusual to have such a mass of failure so I assume the seeds have lost viability. I understand that some exotic seeds can be tricky but these "triffid" species are not difficult plants and I have grown several of them before with no issue. Emailed them saying I would be happy if they just replaced the Solanum and I would write off the other 6 species but no response. Interestingly, Suttons, Chilterns anf T and M have always been very fast to replace failed seeds and I guess that is what sets their customer service apart.

Trained Horticulturist rates these…

Trained Horticulturist rates these seeds

I wanted to wait until my seeds germinated before making a review. The Plumeria, Passionflower and the Gloriosa (is beginning), have made seedlings. The others can take longer.

I followed the helpful instructions provided and used a greenhouse with temperatures of between 20-25c and the humidity was always high. Light was maintained for 12 hours a day.

As the seeds in the packets are not many so the chances of viable successful seeds decreases and growing tropical seeds require apt conditions and some level of skill. I may also have made mistakes in providing correct soil and temps for germination.

Overall I have been happy with the results and would purchase again. Highly recommend if you have the setup for growing tropical seeds.

Ordered seeds and a week later still…

Ordered seeds and a week later still not arrived. Tried to contact them by email and didn't bother responding so went to Paypal to see if that would prompt them. They subsequently then completely cancelled my order - will not be using them again!
Their reason was that they were busy - not good enough sorry!

Poor quality seeds

A little disappointed regarding the seed quality. Ten or so years ago they seemed to deliver good quality seeds and I was a happy customer. I don't know what has happened. It seems the stock they sell today has been on the shelf for far too long. Not a single one of the 100 or so various trachycarpus species I ordered has germinated. Simultainously, I grew some trachycarpus seeds that I bought from a different supplier. These have almost 100% germination. Out of 50 Musa Sikkimensis banana-seeds only 2 have successfully germinated.. My previous success-rates have been close to 80-90%. On a positive note they pack and ship orders fairly fast. Customer support have also been friendly when I have been in contact with them. My advice to the company is to pay more attention to quality control and select better sub-suppliers.

Poor quality and service.

Some canna rhizomes I ordered arrived in a poor state and I was almost certain they would not germinate. Nevertheless I planted them and waited many weeks but no sprouts emerged. After sending an email to Jungleseeds explaining the situation I received a reply saying that I needed to be patient.

Blacklisted following minor complaint!

I have bought from Jungleseeds quite a few times, spending a not insubstantial sum of money over the years and also recommending them to many of my friends.
Last winter I ordered a selection of Canna rhizomes two of which never grew. Fine I thought, it happens, plants can be fickle. I emailed the company to highlight the issue. They asked me to preserve (I've grown Cannas for 25 years and knew these were not going to come to anything) however I did as asked. When a few months later they were still not growing i emailed to ask for a refund for the two that didn't grow. The refund was issued, and everything seemed amicable and all email correspondence was conducted in a courteous manner by both sides.
Thus autumn I placed a large order for more Canna rhizomes, unfazed by the minor issue in the spring. I then received an email from the company a few days later informing me that because I was unhappy with the previous order they were cancelling my new order! It would appear that one should not highlight issues with this company or you will be blacklisted by them from ordering in the future!

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Ordered over £20 of seeds from this company and received absolutely nothing. Have phoned, emailed three times and the only contact they've made is an email to say I should contact Royal Mail.
Please if you value your hard earned money DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Not what the customer ordered

Early this year (2017) I ordered Green Zebra tomato seeds from this company. When the plants got to fruiting it was very clear they were not Green Zebra. The tomatoes were bright red, very coarse and quite inedible.
I complained very politely to Jungle Seeds and drew attention to the fact that my experience was similar to last year's performance - seeds not being Green Zebra. I eventually learned that Jungle Seed's supplier had had a problem with Green Zebra seeds last year, but was not aware of a similar problem this year.
For its part Jungle Seeds offered replacement seeds from a 'fresh' batch. This I declined explaining that I could not produce a crop from them this year and would not knowingly plant in 2018 seeds prepared for 2017.
It seems Jungle Seeds has a very poor quality system in place with its suppliers, may well send out last years seeds if you order early in the season as I did and takes a very relaxed view of compliance with the requirements of trade description.
Generously (!) and after pressing Jungle Seeds refunded the cost of the seeds. My loss of a year's product and my materials, time and effort came as a freebie.

Lack of information

Jungleseeds do not give appropriate info. Just received my order and the info on the seed packets is very different to the info on the site. Example - one packet says germination takes 12 weeks, an important piece of info they conveniently forgot to mention on the website. I feel conned into buying something that is not appropriate.
Not impressed.

Brilliant company!

I've bought a couple of things from them over the last year or so and am impressed every time. My latest order was two banana trees, which arrived beautifully and safely packaged. The delivery was prompt and I was informed the day before they arrived. I also really like the occasional emails I get, just informative offers, no junk mail. Thanks all at JungleSeeds!!!
