To Jumbo Delft (Bastiaansplein 135, 2611 DC Delft): If you stop letting customers in at 21:56, then your closing time is 21:55, not 22:00. Maybe fix the advertised hours so customers don’t have... See more

Good supermarket and better prices compared to AH, for the same products. But can be cheaper. And I don't understand why they don't sell telephone simcards ..?

Poor service

Ordered food online and by the time of delivery I received zero notifications. 30 minutes later a rep called and said there was a distribution system error and my order was never received... the order she was calling me about. Next day my account said, "no one was home during delivery."

Better to order online with PLUS or AH!

Be carefull about your payments

Be carefull about your payments, because the market personnel charges twice your payment and when you realize it, they make it difficult to get your money back. I shopped from Jumbo Van Vliet Voorschoten on Sunday and they charged the amount of my shopping twice. I warned them immediately by showing the transaction from my bank account but they requested me to come the day after and I did how they asked me. But i didn’t know that it is the way how they manage a problem when they have to deal with! You cannot buy a chew gum by telling them that you will pay after 2 days, they label you as a thief if you try to do so (which is the right way). But when they charge money twice from your bank account for your single shopping, they have no authority to pay your money back to correct this innocent inconvenience (not thievery!). “You have to wait for the manager who would definitely solve the problem tomorrow but at the moment s/he is not there.” They took the amount of my shopping twice from my account, and it has been 4 days after that unconscious (!) mistake, they still tell me to “come tomorrow”. Luckily the amount is not so big, I won’t ask them again but the disappointment I faced at Jumbo is enormous

Hello Jumbo

Hello Jumbo, you should be more careful with products that you sell. It's the third time I bought chicken in Jumbo Bedum and every time I open it, stink! Really strong! This time i can even see green spots. Disgusting!!!!

Jumbo is the worst supermarket in the Netherlands.

Jumbo has been going down in quality and up with prices. The house mark for onions have many rotten ones. The almonds are old, the sliced cheese is dry and no taste. All the house mark products are terrible. Some idiot at marketing decided that they should mislead the public and make as much money as possible. This is not a sustainable marketing plan. I live one street away from the Westerstraat Jumbo but I am going now to lidl to shop. Lidl is about 10 minutes by bike but the quality of the food at Jumbo is so bad that I just cannot shop at Jumbo anymore. I wish there was a zero star rating I could choose. One star is too good for Jumbo.

Jumbo should be avoided at all cost. Worst of all supermarkets

Hi All,

You should not buy anything from Jumbo and mainly dont order anything online because they will try to make extra money by pushing you to keep their containers. The mail which I got in which they confirmed that delivery boy will take away containers if I want but when delivery boy came he told us to take containers also along with grocery and when we refused it he told us that we have to take it and he tried to charge us for those containers which we never wanted in first place.

I can draw one conclusions out of it, either Jumbo started behaving so cheap that they push customers to buy their containers because they cant make decent money by selling groceries.

The Jumbo at Biarritz plein in Achtse Barrier, Eindhoven is very disappointing

Many of the shelves are half full.
Several of the products that I regularly buy are chronically out of stock.
The staff is not helpful and many look like school children.
I never see the manager on the floor.
If I want to buy a specific cut of meat (like ribeye steak), I can mostly not find more than one or two pieces at a time. It is impossible to buy meat there if you are having some friends over or dinner.
They sell freshly baked bio sourdough bread (which is good) but almost never available (only early in the morning when I am at work).
I live 150m from this store, but I now regularly take my car and drive 3km to the nearest Albert Heijn instead of going there
