JPay only for Americans

JPay, like so many American companies, doesn't understand that there's a world outside America, which is much better educated. They seem to be incapable of offering any service to non Americans; I don't know if the service they offer to Americans works, but it certainly doesn't for anyone else. I'm afraid that's typical of so much in America.

Zero customer service support.

The Send Money link has vanished from my homepage. I've used the site webform FIVE TIMES to ask for help but had absolutely no response. I appreciate that live would be easier if they never had to deal with us pesky customers, but they would be wise to remember who pays their wages.

This company is nothing but a scam and run by thieves! They have a captive clientele that they can treat anyway they want and they steal millions every year by sliding in extra $0.10 charge every chance they get and even if you catch it, good luck getting it back. Our government has basically handed them the right to steal by forcing us to use them.

Ripoff! Do not use!

Here is their EXACT message to me: Violation of COPD, Law, or DOC Policy inmate does not have state issued photo card I.D. visible/not wearing not using j-pay privacy screen/ using a bed sheet. What the heck does this mean. When I sent them an email asking them to explain this to me their response was: In response to your inquiry, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing with your censored email. Please understand that all correspondence including attachments are reviewed and approved by the facility. Furthermore, the content may be censored/rejected based upon each agency’s rules and regulations. Please speak to your loved one regarding the facility’s rules and regulations before you send emails, videos, or attachments. The stamps used for any rejected emails, videos or attachments are non-refundable as displayed in our Terms and Conditions. It was a pleasure assisting you, Thank you for contacting JPay Customer Support. This is crap! Do NOT use this service. You can send messages, supposedly, but you won't get any response in return! Rip off!!!

JPay email services sent notices to an inmate in Alabama state prison

JPay email services sent notices to a whole group of inmates at an Alabama state prison on the same day and at the same time, that they had sent sexually explicit messages and those messages were being rejected. Simultaneously, recipients of those messages received the same notices. The inmate with whom I correspond and I reviewed all of our most recent messages, and there was no explicit content, but JPay will not own up to the glitch in their system and admit it was a mistake.

This company claims to offer 24-hour customer service. It is a joke. There is no customer service, only a short list of options where you can listen to automated responses. The JPay system has not been accepting payments for days now. No way to fix it, or get assistance from company.

JPay is terrible I'm embarrassed by them. They strive to want to help you contact with your loved ones but they don't care they just want your money they don't send the emails that we pay money to send. They reject them most of the time. I'm tired of dealing with them they're no longer getting any of my money. JPay and the people that run this are garbage.

I have been defrauded by this company

I have been defrauded by this company. I sent my friend $250 for his commissary account, and they deposited it into his movie rental account. When I protested, they withdrew the funds from my friend's movie account and kept the funds, but never moved them into the commissary account and never refunded them. I kept calling and calling, but every time I was told the messages I sent and the calls I did supposedly ended up in the "wrong department" and needed to be "escalated to a different supervisor". None of this ever happened. I called my credit card company to complain about this fraud, and they gave Jpay/Securus 1 month to respond to my complaint, which they never did. Then the credit card company refunded my money to me, and I finally got my money back 5 months later. In response they blocked my account and prevent me from reading or sending emails with their e-messaging application. This company is a fraud and is organized to rip off the relatives and friends of incarcerated people, adding insult to injury.

Horrible company!

Horrible company!! I’ve been attempting to reset a password that was brand new to begin with for the last two hours. I am not able to contact the people that I need to and JPay offers absolutely no support at all when you dial their number it’s an endless spin of recordings that never get you to a human or solve your issue. TAKE IT UP WITH THE STATE IN WHICH YOU LIVE. JPAY IS NOT A GOOD COMPANY. THEY NEED TO END THEIR CONTRACT.

Scam, beware!

The company took money from me to transfer to an incarcerated person. They never did, six weeks later they informed me that they are having issues with MoneyGram with no estimate for resolution of their issues. They invited me to send more money by other means like through their app. The funny thing is that I had used that means in the first place. I am disputing the transaction. It is a scam, but the shoking thing is that this scam business was recommended by the penitentiary itself, a government insitution. This will be definitely reported.

Pathetic & a ripoff

Pathetic & a ripoff
Firstly your paying for a service that does not deliver
Eample today my pen pal received a message I had sent on 9th August & today is 20th August.
The delay times are shocking
The auto robot is terrible and understands nothing and the service line has nil service with unbelieveable wait times
The US government needs to investigate this scam
It's taking peoples money in stamps and not delivering
Writing becareful I have meet 4 inmates the first did not even answer my letter, the second tried to get $300 out of me and I dont believe for one minute he was gay
Number three a true gentleman but I just could not find common ground
Number 4 we are an item of such again a gentleman but I oftern wonder am I being played.
Only time will tell I guess.
Getting to know a sranger is no different than meeting in person other than the obvious face to face contact
If your good at reading between the lines then getting to know a stranger is easy
Always remember your reading a letter your not face to face so over thinking what has been writen could spell disarster.
Topics like food likes is off limits incase you ask first due to the prison menus a sore point with most prisoners.
Remember all that you write is sencored before being pass on to your pen friend so always be a good listner,Do not argue or try to push your opinions, answer quickly as waiting for a reply for a prisoner is like Christmas day tor us.
