We booked a surprise holiday with Journee and ended up in Croatia – it was incredible! From start to finish, the whole process felt exciting and effortless.

With busy jobs, kids, and everyday life, we rarely have the time (or energy!) to plan a trip properly. Journee took all that stress away. The questionnaire was quick to fill in, the proposal felt spot-on, and once we said yes, everything was sorted for us.

The flights in particular were amazing – you can tell Journee plan things so you really make the most of your time away. It honestly exceeded our expectations.

Yes, it’s more costly than booking it all yourself, but for the convenience, thoughtfulness, and fun factor, it was worth every penny. We’ll definitely be booking with Journee again!

Loved our trip for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The excursions were fantastic and we probably did things we might not have done. The hotel was in a great location and we had an amazing view. Without Journee we might not have ever visited Tirana. But we loved it and are recommending the location and Journee to everyone!

Extremely well thought out! Was perfect for me and they took care of the planning, which I appreciate. I would not have thought to do half of things they had me do it I am happy it was planned. Still had time to explore on my own and soak in the beautiful cities and locations they sent me to!

We decided to try out a mystery holiday, and go through Journee to make this happen. The whole experience, right from filling in the survey for what we were looking for, receiving the clue each month, to actually revealing our destination and experience was just incredible. Couldn’t fault the service from the team, we really couldn’t have asked for more!

We had a unique experience traveling to Granada. The activities were superb . It was our 3rd Journee trip with the whole family . My children age gap is 10 years in between so planning for our itinerary is ticky considering what activities they will like , hence I leave it to Journee to do all the planning. With all 3 trips that we had already through journee , everyone enjoyed all the different experiences that we had. Thank you once again Journee, till next year for our yearly family trip .

I went on my second Journee this year. Exceeded my expectations again. Very happy. I went on an excursion I would never have booked myself thinking I wouldn't enjoy it. Great way to do something different somewhere you may never have thought of going to. Will book another next year for sure. I enjoy the build up of guessing where I might be going.

My husband and I had a really good time on our trip. We saved the reveal for the airport and we were so surprised to be matched with Slovenia! We enjoyed every aspect of the trip that Journee planned and appreciated the free time that we got to explore on our own. We felt safe and comfortable during the whole trip. We would definitely do this again!

We could not be more pleased with our Journee experience!! The destinations were WONDERFUL and definitely not something we ever would have picked for ourselves! We ended up loving the planned tours--it was an amazing opportunity to meet people from all over the world and chat and get to know them on a small scale. The cost was more than reasonable--especially given the quality of our accommodations! We will definitely be traveling with Journee again!

I absolutely LOVE Journee! I've taken 3 trips with them, and each one was just as memorable as the next, if not more so. I love both the simplicity of not having to plan but also the surprise aspect of it all. I'm not usually one for surprises, to be honest, but the pub quiz type of clues that are sent make it so much fun (especially if you don't cheat and Google the answers). Even with the in-depth quiz that you take to personalise the trip, the fact that Journee doesn't send you to the typical tourist locations makes it a surprise. They do send you a packing list the week before you leave to help while not giving away the location. However, if you can't wait until the airport to find out where you're going, you can open the reveal envelope when it arrives, but it's so much more fun to wait until the airport and then post your reaction on your socials. My friends and family really enjoy finding out with me where I'm going.

I HIGHLY recommend at least taking the quiz and getting a proposal. You don't have to accept it but when you see the description and excursions that they plan (again, with only enough information to keep you guessing), you'll want to book it immediately. Give it a go and have fun! You won't regret it.

We just returned from our Journee trip to Romania, and it was absolutely incredible! Our itinerary took us to three very different locations, and while we enjoyed every stop, our favorite experience by far was visiting Peles Castle—it felt like stepping into history, rich history!

We opted not to receive any of the clues beforehand, so the reveal was a true surprise, we were clueless literally!

Honestly, Romania is not a destination we would have chosen on our own, but now it’s one of our favorite places we’ve ever visited. The mix of history, architecture, stunning landscapes, and welcoming people completely won us over. Journee curated a trip that opened our eyes to a country we might have overlooked—and we’re so glad they did.

Exceeded our expectations and will be booking again for next year!
Everything was organised so well - from the tantalising summary, to the clues, to the reveal, to checking us in at the airport, the hotel and the brilliant excursions. Journee even supplied restaurant recommendations and local sights to see this came in both hard copy and digital. I truly cannot fault anything! We took a gamble and it massively paid off! Our friends and family couldn’t believe we were booking a surprise trip, they were more nervous than us! We had a fantastic time and after all the wedding planning it was perfect not to be planning anything! Journee took care of everything!
Our surprise destination was Croatia but so much more with all the activities planned for us. Our accommodation was great, a really convenient spot from which to get around. The pace at which all the activities and excursions took place was perfect with lots of free time to do our own thing too. We would highly recommend downloading the Journee link to your phone home screen as this was a really quick way of finding out all the info we needed. The maps sent to us were very useful and we knew that if we needed any help we could call on Journee at any time. They were very communicative throughout the experience. All the companies that activities were booked through were very good. One experience had to be rescheduled due to weather and they were quick to get in contact and reorganise this for us. We have no complaints and would highly recommend giving this a go! We have already put a down payment for a future trip with Journee as we enjoyed it so much. We can’t wait to see where end up next time! Thank you Journee!

This was one of our favourite trips away, zero stress, all organisation is taken out of your hands and we had the best time. The clues and communication you receive keep you excited up to the day of your trip. Our destination was amazing and matched us perfectly, the itinerary and destination guide plus little extras were the icing on the cake and ensured we got the most out of our trip. We will definitely be doing another one soon!!

I booked a solo trip to travel in March 2025 through Journee. They sent me to Italy, which was on my bucket list of places to visit. I know they advertise to wait until getting to the airport to view your destination, but I really wanted to look and be prepared for where I was going, since I was going solo to a destination I’ve never been to. It’s fantastic to just pay and show up for the trip. I didn’t have to spend months researching and looking through travel guides. Journee is a great option for low stress planning and solo female travelers. I highly recommend booking a trip and I plan to book another for myself.

The moment I read about Journee, I was hooked. I love to travel! Journee did all the hard parts for me! Where do I go, what do I do, where do I stay. I loved everything they planned! And bumping into fellow Journeer’s on my excursions was an added bonus, kindred spirits! My friends and family at home loved playing along, even when I wouldn’t open my clues until a few days before I left. The buildup of excitement added so much to the trip! Will I go again? Of course! Question now is… where will Journee send me next?

We were facing such decisions to celebrate our 40th Anniversary, this is where we found Journee.

We filled out the questionnaire and submitted it right away.
Our proposal came in under our budget and after a couple days we booked it.
All we knew was that we were to fly out on July 4th from Miami for a 8-10 hour flight and return 7 days later.
Many thought we were crazy.
We too were looking at each other saying “what have we done” but were so excited!!

We have been back in the US for a week now and we cannot stop talking and sharing our experience with friends and family.

We went places we would never have planned on our own without hours and hours of researching and financially committing to so many different entities to make it all come together.

Journee did all of this for us and there was not one transportation issue, ticket issue or one tour guide that was not waiting for us when we arrived.

We will be doing this again!!!

Our trip away was perfect- we couldn’t have asked to be matched with a more perfect area! Despite being worried everything from start to finish was well managed and thought out. Although there were some areas we wouldn’t have usually chosen, the whole experience was amazing, our tour of Florence and the Tuscan countryside has made us fall in love with the area - ordinarily we wouldn’t have chosen this despite liking the look of the area, so has been an amazing experience! Everything was so well planned and thought out and gave us plenty of time to explore- including g experiences we would never have chosen, but added so much to our experience. The suggested sights also informed our choices and allowed us to explore much further. The only trouble is we want to go straight back!

Journee planned an amazing holiday for me to Krakow. This is a place I definitely wouldn’t have gone to on my own but very much linked to my interests such as history and trying new food.
They were responsive from the time I booked and throughout the holiday. The booked experiences went seamlessly as did the flight and my airport transfer.
The accommodation was great, it was 4 star and I flew British airways. Both created a great experience. Plus I didn’t need to plan anything really- they provided a city guide as well!

The trip was seamless- even when our return flight was cancelled due to strikes, journee worked with us to find a solution. The pre-booked trips were clear with instructions and were just what we wanted to do in this area. The accommodation was outstanding we had chosen to upgrade and were not disappointed- a true haven for our 'down days' in the middle of a bustling town.

Journee seemed like an interesting way to not have anyone be responsible for planning travel.

This was exactly that, and more. It was simple and easy but also a trip of a life time with all the best things coordinated throughout our week trip.

Would recommend especially to anyone who is nervous about international travel or does not know where to start.
