APP sucks and customer service doesn't exist

Completely useless and no support provided that was helpful. I paid $20.00 and got NOTHING for it. Taka wrote back explaining three times why they will not refund me. I attempted to use the APP for three minutes and could not get it to work for me. Use Google Conversations Translate instead- this app sucks and just wants to take your money.

update - 03-19-26 The only solution to this issue Taka is to refund the 20.00 because you service does not work for me. Your passive responses that reiterate your policy shows your lack of willingness to want to cooperate with your clients.

I’d like to clarify that I responded to your email once. In that message, I explained that we operate on a freemium model, providing free access before payment, and as such, refunds are generally not issued after the product has been used unless there is a product issue.

You cannot cancel the subscription!!

The system didn’t allow me to cancel the subscription and showed the message: “Failed to downgrade user to Freemium plan.” As a result, it’s impossible to cancel the subscription at all. This is the worst thing that can happen in an application and completely negates any benefits the features might offer. Awful.

At the time you attempted to cancel, there was an outstanding failed payment due to insufficient funds on the card. For this reason, the system did not allow the subscription to be downgraded until the payment issue was resolved. This is standard practice to prevent accounts with unpaid usage from being left in an inconsistent state.

To be transparent:
- The service was active and used during the billing period
- The initial payment failed due to insufficient funds
- The cancellation was therefore blocked temporarily

Your subscription is now confirmed to be scheduled for cancellation on January 24. No further charges will be made after that date.

A comprehensive live translation app

Last month, one of my friends recommended JotMe as a live translation tool for my international calls, and so far, it has exceeded my expectations. The setup is simple, translations are accurate, and I love how translations are lag-free. It has also saved me from the hassle of taking notes during meetings while interacting with the participants. I get the gist as soon as the meeting ends. Besides, its AI real-time summary and AI ask features are a bonus. Highly recommended for individuals and businesses working with multilingual clients!

Makes global communication so much easier

I came across JotMe while looking for a reliable AI translator for my business calls, and it exceeded my expectations. It doesn’t just translate but also understands context. The real-time translation during meetings feels smooth, and the automatic meeting notes are a huge bonus. I’ve used it for English–Spanish and English–French calls, and both were handled perfectly. It’s made cross-language meetings way less stressful. Highly recommend for anyone working in international teams or client calls.

The tool does a poor job generating…

The tool does a poor job generating meeting notes — the results are messy and inaccurate. When I asked to delete my account, they said it could take up to a month, and when I asked if it could be done faster, they told me it’s a paid service. Absolutely ridiculous.

In many cases, poor meeting note quality comes from low-quality audio, and our AI is still limited when transcribing unclear recordings.

It also looks like you were using our Chrome extension. The extension doesn’t support all advanced features, which is why we recommend using JotMe Max (Desktop App) for the best experience.

Regarding account deletion — last month, we didn’t yet have an automated system, so manual deletion took about a month to process, and we sometimes charged a small manual work fee for immediate removal since one of us needed to remove the data from the back up database as well.
