I've bought three different pieces from John Cowan Baskets over the past few years and honestly I'm happy every time I see and use them! Log basket/umbrella stand/vegetable picker. I love that they were expertly made using traditional methods and have subtle details with different tones and patterns making them really unique, like functional artworks. Highly recommended.

Blown away by the quality of the basket - clearly well made with UK-sourced materials. The smell of the willow is beautiful. Such a difference from the cheap products we've become accustomed to.

What a wonderful artisan to have discovered! My laundry basket is wonderful. Great shape, fantastic size and colour - with a neat little lid nestling on the top. The rim is built in a way that makes it easy to lift and move around. The one I bought 30 years ago is now in the spare room. I hope this is not my last purchase. Treat yourself.
