🚨DO NOT USE J&M MOVING🚨
* Movers showed up FOUR HOURS late.
* Movers were high and smelled like weed.
* From the house we were moving out of, the movers damaged the front door by forcing a couch out of it instead of using the wider back door, then dropped that same couch out of the back of the truck and broke it, broke our dryer by dropping it down the concrete steps and letting it roll off into the grass, and scratched / dented an entire door frame of our brand new house by shoving the same broken couch through instead of taking the time to come up with a proper plan.
* Not even halfway through unloading the truck at the new house, the movers decided they weren’t talking any more furniture inside. They just dumped everything else in the garage and left it.
* Extremely shady, unprofessional, lazy, and intoxicated work! You do not want these people near your home or your family.
Owner Mark Magallanes (a self proclaimed “man of his word”) put on one heck of a show for us. Claiming the damage was no big deal and that’s why they have insurance. Awesome right? He quickly recanted and said he’d just pay us out of pocket so it doesn’t hit his insurance. This was on Saturday, July 27. Here we are on Wednesday, July 31, and Mark still hasn’t paid us and is now REFUSING to provide his company insurance to us! He has since blocked me on every form of communication. This man is a crook. He’s not even listed on the Better Business Bureau website! I sincerely hope people look the other way if they come across J&M Moving. I’ve never experienced a more unprofessional and unacceptable display in my life. I hope this will help prevent someone else from getting scammed like we did.
