Jaycotts Sewing Supplies Reviews 

Jaycott's has been a lifeline during lockdown as I began to sew more. Not only do they have extensive stock at good prices, they consistently despatch items quickly, they respond to queries quickly, and I think they're a great company.

I called Jaycotts because I wanted press fasteners and was not sure exactly what I needed. They were very helpful on the phone and had what I needed in stock so I ordered without checking the prices. When I had a quick look online later I found that the prices were actually lower at Jaycotts than elsewhere.
Unfortunately one part of my order was supplied in the wrong colour, but the company replaced it the next day and sent me an envelope for the return of the wrong item.
Truly excellent customer service and I will go back to them when I need anything else.

Superb service - quick turnaround; do not charge the earth for delivery. Helpful on the phone; excellent range of haberdashery - e.g. colours of bias bindings and threads.

I have ordered a few times from Jaycotts - mainly thread - and I just wanted to say thank you. You are so amazingly quick with delivery.
It is like deciding to go to the shops because you need something straight away. That is pretty much like shopping at Jaycotts, it almost always arrives straight away! And your delivery costs make it easy to order small cost items.

What an amazing company. This is not the first time I have placed an order with them, and I feel they deserve that I take the time to review their efficient service. Their range of products is wide, their prices are highly competitive and, unlike a lot of their competitors, they do not feel that they should supplement their prices by inflating the cost of postage. I placed my order late Monday, was advised by email and text yesterday that my order had shipped, and received it today, Wednesday. What an outstanding service and what a lovely company to work with. They will definitely be my first port of call for any subsequent sewing products that I require. It must be hard at these times of online only shopping, to provide such an efficient service and I commend them and highly recommend them.

First time I have used Jaycotts. Service exceptionally quick. I wanted 2 metal zips for a bag making project and so to make postage worthwhile ordered more nylon zips and some threads. Upon opening the package I probably wouldn’t have bothered counting the zips and just put them in my drawer but as the 2 metal ones were missing I did a full count. 3 zips were missing. Not a good first impression. To be fair when I phoned, the man apologised and sent them to arrive the next day. Not sure I would rush to use them again if so lax with accuracy of my order.

Great customer service and speedy delivery. My delivery address was incorrectly set (my fault!) I sent a mail via their contact system and received a reply first thing the following morning acknowledging and correcting my mistake. They always say to judge by the way mistakes are handled, when those mistakes aren’t theirs but the handling is still first class that surely says something.

I have purchased twice recently from Jaycotts and on both occasions the orders were placed very late evening and within two days my items have arrived on the doorstep, perfectly packaged and correct (lots of smaller items, so room for error if lacking attention in the picking).
In present circumstances and restriction, I applaud this company and its staff for its efficiency and great communication.
Quite apart from this huge advantage, especially just now, I find their pricing to be extremely competitive.
All-in-all I am very impressed and would highly recommend Jaycotts to anyone needing supplies, especially if they are required in a hurry.

I ordered 2 patterns and a zipper early on Tuesday evening. I was a bit apprehensive as I had not ordered from Jaycotts before, but I needn't have worried .I received my items well packed the following Friday morning. I think their service was 1st. class and I shall certainly be buying from them again

I am very pleased with Jaycotts today! Late on Sunday evening, I ordered some Jersey sewing machine needles, required urgently to repair my granddaughters trousers. They have just arrived.. First class post.. faster than Amaxon offered, and cheaper too even with the (modest) P&P ! I am always happy to deal with actual shops with real people and they certainly deserve our custom right now.

I emailed with a query as to what type of replacement zip I should fit into a running suit for my son who competes in triathlons (Iron Man this year hopefully).
After purchasing some zips previously from ebay which were of poor quality and didn't do the job as they should have done I came across Jaycotts.
I was advised which zip would be suitable. Ordered that day (same price as ones that were no good) and received the following day.
Brilliant quality and excellent service with customer service team very helpful.
Don't do much sewing these days but would certainly come back and will recommend to my Aunt who is a seamstress.
