DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND.

The dress I wanted was out of stock in my size, I messaged the website asking to be notified if one was returned.
I received notification that one in my size was back in stock. I purchased it that day .
It arrived 2 days later , a beautiful dress that I tried on, it had a safety band on it that when I tried on didn’t allow me to get a correct fit so I did break the band to try the dress on properly, unfortunately the dress didn’t fit well, so I neatly parcelled the item up and notified online that I had undone the band to get a true fit of the garment ( the band went down the arm and through the body of the dress , very awkward to try on.
I was notified by the Jasper Conran site that the dress would not be refunded because there were signs of wear and it had been washed and the band had been removed…… all complete rubbish….
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE
I now have a dress that doesn’t fit, that they say is flawed ( not by me )
They are closing the online site and they don’t care , I was accused of being deceitful and a liar.
I bought a dress in good faith and have been treated appallingly
Please don’t get conned like I have…

An absolute shambles from start to finish.

I returned a very expensive item using the label provided inside the order, which any reasonable customer would assume was the correct return label. The parcel was delivered, yet I was later told the refund could not be processed because the item was “lost within their own warehouse”. That is a failure of their internal processes, not the customer’s responsibility.

What truly tipped this from disappointing to unacceptable was the customer service. Communication was slow, vague and evasive, and the refund process was needlessly drawn out. At no point did it feel as though my time, money, or frustration were taken seriously. For a brand positioning itself at the premium end of the market, this level of service is frankly embarrassing.

What makes this worse is that this dragged on for several weeks. I repeatedly had to provide proof of delivery and chase for updates, wasting an inordinate amount of my time simply to recover money that should have been refunded as a matter of course.

Despite clear evidence that the item had been returned, the company refused to resolve the issue. I was left with no option but to escalate the matter to my credit card provider, who refunded me in full.

For a brand charging premium prices, the operational standards and customer service are shockingly poor. I will not purchase from them again and would strongly advise others not to assume that the designer name guarantees a well-run or trustworthy business.

Luxury is not just about aesthetics — it’s about quality control, accountability, and how a customer is treated when something goes wrong. On all three counts, this brand failed.

More mess than dress ..........................

Recieved the order this morning and its marked with make-up on the front, clearly visible on unpacking and no quality check, had issues trying to contact someone, finally got a reply on the chatbot but they then asked ME to arrange the return, a DHL print out required - again at my expense 2 pages, cannot book an online collection as DHL are saying its an import number on the Waybill. I go back to the chat to report this and I am now told to call DHL to arrange the collection myself using an 0844 number ...more time.... this is now a solid hour this has been going on out of my day.

This cannot be regarded as a good service or process, faulty item is not the Customers responsibility to resolve. Incurring cost and time, I reported it to them and have requested they call the premium rate number themselves to arrange the collection as I have already wasted time in pursuing the returns process they insist I follow.

I have now been advised to search for a drop off and drive it to a location, using my car, fuel and time once again. How is the morally ethical for something they have caused through a lack of dilligence and process. This is not service one expects from a brand like this to push the ownus onto the customer to resolve an problem they have created. Avoid shopping with JC is not a responsible brand if they think the customer should foot the bill for returning faulty goods - Shame on you JC, I would have thought your heritage would have taught you better......

Worst Customer Service Ever

Dear all
I purchased items totaling £350.00 pounds in August. I live in Oxfordshire and JC sent my goods to NI. I contacted them and they did not respond. I contacted my bank. They investigated and JC challenged. The bank concluded their investigation on 21st November and JC said I would be immediately refunded. I am still waiting for my money back. Telephone calls from Cyprus , where I am currently working, have cost £160.00 to sort this out. I was promised that I would be refunded as soon as there was no longer a chargeback from the bank in operation. There is no chargeback for days and still no money. I give no stars and beyond upset. Jasper Conran have stolen 350.00 pounds from me and have failed to give it back when they failed to deliver goods paid for. Customer services are dishonorable and say it is my fault for contacting the bank when they sent my goods to Northern Ireland and failed to respond to me. Does anyone else feel my pain? Time for more action?

I have had the worst experience ever

I have had the worst experience ever. Ordered a wedding outfit totaling over 350 pounds and waited for delivery. It went to Northern Ireland and I live in Oxfordshire. Very poor customer service which agreed via email that they would fully refund me and then didn’t. I am still fighting this and am 350 pounds out of pocket. No stars! Absolutely horrified and I warn all customers .

First class service and items

First class service- delivered on both occasions by Royal Mail. Beautifully presented. Shirt dress 14 fitted me nicely normally I’d be a 12. So you might find you need to go up a size. Bryn bag beautifully made with nice touches inside, a removable flat pocket bag connected (and removable) to a chain, inner zips and also clasps at opening of bag. Most impressed with these two sale items.

Misleading product descriptions

Misleading product descriptions. Bought a chest of drawers that was meant to be walnut, website says its a mix of solid walnut and walnut veneer, and underneath in the description says 100% wood. Ok.. all I can see is particle board with walnut veneer, not sure which parts are supposed to be solid walnut. Its definitely some % glue and the description is not transparent about the materials the furniture is made from. In addition to that, it arrived very dirty and dusty inside the box with some poor quality control such as damage inside the drawers that could not have occurred during shipping. Not enough to justify us sending it back, but still frustrating. Went back to look at their other furniture and they are not transparent at all about the materials from which the furniture is constructed.

Terrible bedding and awful company

I spent a significant amount on a set of bedding, but the pillow cases completely discoloured and looked disgusting after a short time. John Lewis refunded me but I had had to buy the sheet direct from Jasper Conran as they were the only ones with stock. They won’t refund me despite my no longer having the bedding set. They are rude and unpleasant to deal with. Avoid at all costs

Shocking Customer Service

£160 for a skirt is a lot of money to me and I expected a high quality garment. The colour and the fabric are lovely but the skirt was faulty. The zip stuck when it reached the waistband and required a lot of pulling and tugging to get it over the waistband. That is not the mark of a quality item. I also purchased a hat, both items for a wedding. The hat did not look like it does in the photo as it had been squashed in the box and therefore instead of having a smooth brim as in the photos, it was wavy. The hat was also very difficult to wear. The photos show virtually all models looking down; that's because the brim is so wide when you lift your head up it tips off as it touches your back. My main criticism however, was the customer service. Because I didn't re-order I've had to pay a £5.50 return fee for a faulty skirt and a hat which has been badly designed. The customer service team refused to acknowledge that the skirt was faulty and I wish I'd taken a video of trying to zip it up. They said it had been checked by the warehouse who clearly never bothered to try the zip. This is no longer about the £5.50 but about the fact that they've completely dismissed the facts and labelled me a liar whichhas really upset me. I'm amazed that a supposed high end retailer does not ensure that its products are high quality and when they aren't they refuse to accept it. Be warned that if you do have a faulty item they will not refund your return fee.

Worst shopping experience in every way

Paid for a dress 27/05/2024 £420.00 to Joseph Conran. Never delivered as yodel said left cards and I received none. I have two porters who never saw yodel around. I received no delivery notification whatsoever via text/email or phone. Dress went to depot and I got an email saying I could collect many miles away from where I live but I had to have card to collect!! Many irate emails to Joseph Conrad. Email two days ago to say refund notification but I still have no money returned and no dress. Disgusting. Terrible company

No problems at all ordering in UK.

I was wary about ordering from Jasper Conran after reading the reviews here, and planned to order through John Lewis, but inevitably they didn’t have my size in stock so I ended up going through the main website.
The dresses arrived promptly, packed very neatly into a small box (good for keeping carbon emissions down). One of them really did need a quick steam to see how it hang, but not a problem for me. Cut and quality I thought was excellent, the long silk dress was beautifully swishy and the cotton ones have a slight sheen and slight stiffness which helps them with that Dior-ish silhouette.
I had a fast email from customer services with my returns label, and yes, had forgotten about the returns charge but Zara and Uniqlo are charging, and they’re far bigger companies. Drop off location was convenient for me, and I had a returns confirmation within two weeks and refund in the bank three working days later.

All in all I thought this was excellent service and thought it important to share my experience here.

Return process is antiquated and…

Return process is antiquated and inefficient. No ‘ no printer required’ option, items have to go to a DHL collection point, no confirmation and on tracking, item was delivered to a Warehouse in London not to return address in Dagenham….10 days after posting still no email from company leave alone any money refunded. Emailed customer service who referred me to the ‘company policy’…. Refund within 14 days of arrival in Warehouse. Let’s hope it happens!
PS The dress was beautiful unfortunately too short for me….

Lovely Dress BUT

Lovely Dress BUT - No refund for return. The cost was £350.00. The dress was too big. Smaller sizes were out of stock so I returned the dress via the on line portal and received confirmation. I dropped it off at the DHL collection point and received confirmation. Two weeks and still no refund. Customer service do not answer emails and there is no telephone number to contact. I have now had to contact my credit card company to obtain the refund. BEWARE... you will have to fight for a refund and they make it very difficult to contact them in-fact almost impossible. Shame as I would like to have ordered from them again. But Customer Service doesn't respond, refunds are not forthcoming ..... not good enough and won't be using them again.

Poor customer service, never received order

I'm not leaving a review on the quality of the clothes because I never received my purchase from their online website. My review is based solely on the customer service and ordering process.

I placed an order online (I had a promotional code) for their acclaimed shirt dress; received the order confirmation email and then the shipping email. Although no tracking number was provided in the email (I checked out as a guest) and I had to email customer service to obtain this. Days later, the UPS tracking was still indicating "label created by shipper" (which is still showing the same status at the time of my review). Days later, I received a refund email from JC with no explanation. I had to email customer service again and they told me they refunded the order because UPS returned the order due to a bad delivery address (yet the UPS tracking status remains the same???). First of all, the address is legitimate and correct, I have used the same address in my other UK purchases to Canada, second of all and in my experience, the courier or the shipper will reach out to the customer to obtain the correct address so delivery can be made and they will cancel the delivery after several failed attempts. So I'm not sure what is going on with the lack of customer service and why my order was really refunded. When I pointed this out to customer service, they did not respond to my email.

Maybe the cost was more than they can bite after I used the promotional code. I won't be recommending this brand/store to anyone given the poor customer service. At this price point, I expect better service.

Jasper Conran Bloomsbury Sofa

Jasper Conran Bloomsbury Sofa. bought their Sofa from Next after checking out the product at the outlet at Camberly UK.The Sofa arrived after 2 months. The seating cushions were awful, floppy and would just sink and/or collapse. Its poorly made and unlike the one that was displayed at the shop. Had to return the sofa. I am unable to attach an image of the sofa I purchased. have put it on my DP. am awaiting a refund. AVOID this product.

If you live in the USA, make sure you read this first

I have no idea how a designer brand such as Jasper Conran London is capable of staying in business with how bad the Internet shopping service is for their clients. The clothes are shipped from the UK and I live in the USA. I was told they offered free exchanges only to find out they do not offer free exchanges to the USA (only the UK). I purchased two dresses for the first time and they were too large, so I wanted to exchange for smaller sizes. In order for me to do this, I had to pay for the parcel myself which ranged from $100-$300. Absolutely ridiculous. I have worked with other UK companies with no issues for returns or exchanges. It became such a hassle to exchange the dresses, I ended up going to a tailor and paying $190 to get them fit properly. Even then, they still should be a little bit smaller. I have double and triple checked their sizing online. I even went online today and put the same dress in my shopping cart with a size 10 and a size 12 and the online website says "you have multiple sizes of the same product in your cart, we offer free exchanges". I don't know how they get away with misleading their customers like this. The product is beautiful but the service is deplorable.

Yup do not buy from here ,for a high end designer they have got the worst customer service ever !!!! Absolutely diabolical, incompetent staff ! I cannot return a dress because they run an antiquated returns process where you have to print a label ,well I couldn’t do that they refused to print the label and post it !!! How bad is that !!! It’s not a cheap website !!! Disgusting!!!Keep Away you will lumbered with thousands of pounds worth of unwanted goods !!!

Do NOT order through Jasper Conran!

Having now read the other reviews on the appalling returns process I am very glad that I never received my order in the end and am lucky (given how terrible the customer service is) that they eventually processed a refund for me! Yodel delivered my parcel to a different address and essentially Jasper Conran were holding me accountable rather than sending out a replacement bedding set to me straight away and claiming for the loss through Yodel. The process took over a month to resolve and u still have no bedding but i was finally issued a refund and told to place the order again. Needless to say I will not be doing that and would caution others against making a purchase through this website. They should be reported to Trading Standards.
