I feel like it's a scam
First, the salesperson scheduled to consult and provide an estimate was late without calling. Although very informative about the product, he then gave me a $24,000 estimate to redo my stand alone shower. Not only was this "quote" super high but writen on a sheet of notebook paper. No business name, date, no breakdown of the costs, nor how that # was calculated, especially when labor is supposed to be "free". When I'd called the supposed company which services my area to get clarification, I was told a supervisor would call me back. Of course, no one ever called me back.
Remodeling My Bathroom
Remodeling My Bathroom. Date 7/17/24. The appointment went for over 2hr the price was $23,200 to remodel a bath tub and I would need to get electrician to remove a light switch. I have the paperwork and business card he gave me to show what I am saying is true.
I was stupid in letting them talk me…
I was stupid in letting them talk me into paying almost $15,000 just for a bathtub remodel. They claim free installation but somehow you’re still paying for the fee. They left glue all over the siding of the tub/shower wall. Customer service is not very knowledgeable.
My Disappointing Experience with Jacuzzi and Costco Bath Remodel Project
When my wife and I decided to remodel our bathroom, we were excited about the prospect of having a new, modern space that would enhance our home. Unfortunately, our experience with Jacuzzi and Costco's bath remodel project turned out to be a series of disappointments and frustrations. I’m sharing my story to help other consumers avoid the pitfalls we encountered.
Initial Enthusiasm and Early Red Flags
Our journey began with high hopes. We chose Costco because of its reputation for quality and reliability, and we were impressed with the sales presentation. We were assured that any minor repairs, including issues with the subfloor, would be covered within the scope of the project. This assurance was a significant factor in our decision to proceed, despite the higher cost compared to other options.
However, once the project began, things quickly started to go wrong. During the demolition phase, water damage was discovered, which halted the project. While water damage issues can be unexpected, the way this situation was handled left much to be desired.
The Unraveling of the Project
The discovery of water damage should have been a manageable setback, but it was only the beginning of a series of delays and miscommunications. Despite our numerous attempts to clarify the project requirements and timelines, there were significant miscommunications that led to unnecessary delays.
When the project was ready to resume, we informed both the Install Manager and the scheduler that our bathroom required two shower heads and that plumbing work was essential. Despite this, the plumber who arrived was unaware of these requirements, causing further delays and frustration.
Poor Quality of Work
As the project progressed, the quality of work became a major concern. The hot water flow in our second bathroom was significantly less than the cold water flow, an issue that was never properly addressed despite multiple complaints and attempts at resolution. The installation was poorly executed, with visible issues that affected both the functionality and aesthetic of the bathroom.
Misleading Pricing and Lack of Accountability
One of the most misleading aspects of our experience was the pricing. We were led to believe that the higher cost of the project was justified by the comprehensive coverage of all necessary repairs, including any underlying issues. However, it became clear that the pricing only accounted for surface-level, flashy work. When substantial issues like water damage arose, the company was not equipped to handle them, leaving us to bear the additional costs and delays.
What made the situation even worse was the constant finger-pointing between different parties involved in the project. The sales team, installation manager, schedulers, and plumbers all seemed to point fingers at each other, with no one taking responsibility for the ongoing issues. This lack of accountability led to months of delays and unresolved problems, leaving us, the customers, feeling completely unattended.
Despite assurances that minor repairs to the subfloor, including addressing water damage, would be covered, we were eventually told that we needed to handle the remediation ourselves. This contradicted the commitments made by the sales team and left us to deal with unexpected expenses and further delays.
Conclusion
Our experience with the Jacuzzi and Costco bath remodel project has been highly disappointing. The poor quality of work, lack of communication, unresolved issues, and unmet promises turned what should have been an exciting upgrade into a source of ongoing stress and frustration. The constant finger-pointing and lack of accountability left us feeling unattended and neglected for months.
If you're considering a bath remodel, be sure to get all commitments in writing and maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the project. Understand that the higher price tag may not cover the most critical aspects of the remodel, especially underlying issues that can significantly impact the project's success. Don’t hesitate to hold the companies accountable to ensure you get the quality and service you were promised.

We got an estimate of $28,333 to update our bath tub. The meeting dragged on, well over 45 mins to 2 hours when we finally asked how much would it cost. We were not thrilled with the options. But the price was shocking. The salesperson dropped it to 25k then a final 23k. We declined it all. 2 weeks later we got a follow up call. When I suggested they provide a price range before scheduling the man said maybe we are in the wrong market. I get mad every time I see this commercial on TV.
Never again
They like to leave knocking in your walls from water hammer without ever fixing the issue. I have had problems with this since day one of installation. It has been six months and they refuse to fix the problem. Jacuzzi says it is not their fault, even though the knocking is centered around my master shower.
Their self engineered valves are faulty and let cold water through at the hottest temperatures. You can never use the shower to its full potential since you only get warm (hot and cold mix) water at the highest temp setting
We can’t get past the irritating…
We can’t get past the irritating woman’s voice that does all the talking on the commercials 😡. Her manner of speaking is such a turn-off, we change channels when the commercials come on. Rather than piquing our interest, you make us run away!
Bad Business Policy!
I haven't done any business with this company. However, it is very concerning how they have dealt with the customers who were very kind to give them their business and the uncaring way the customer service has treated them!
Truly concerning and sad...
Jacuzzi customer service is horrible
Jacuzzi customer service is horrible. I spent $45,000 in cash to remodel two bathrooms over a year ago. They never installed the towel rack on the door! I spoke to four people about the problem and deficiency in the last year – two of them 3 times. All I get is promises and a run around. Never a call back. Finally, they tell me today they will not install one! They say they give a lifetime warranty. Imagine if I have a new defect or problem what misery it will be getting a repair. I will not do business with them again and will NOT recommend their products.

Worst customer 'service' ever
If you want your worst enemy to be hounded with phone calls, pretend you are them, call the 888 number to request removal from your USPS mailing list. The nightmare will immediately begin. Phone calls, phone calls, phone calls. I just phoned again to tell them that I ALSO (no brainer, ya think???) want to be removed from the call list. Guess who unprofessionally hung up on me?

I like the commercials appearance and the spokeswoman but her acting is so awful! Lol
The screaming lady!
I sent in a review about the lady who screams needs to be omitted from your commercial. If you want to use her have her do something else. You didn't do anything about it! Well now my husband & I lower the volume or turn off the tv. I suffer from a head injury and any screaming or loud sounds trigger my migraines. NOT GOOD! Please take the lady off. She's NOT necessary for you to get your message across.

Jacuzzi Bath Remodels of St. Louis
I hired Jacuzzi Bath Remodels of St. Louis to redo a portion of my bathroom, converting the tub into a shower. The sale rep, Ben, assured me that their guys had years of experience, as well as training with the actual Jacuzzi company, and that the team sent to me would be extremely familiar with bathrooms like mine because that’s all they do. As a business owner myself, this sounded nice way to operate, a team specialized in an original 1950s bathroom and all its problems. We discussed about their possibly being mold, rotted would, and the fact there is a wall vent so they would need to cut the tile running alongside the tub instead of further over.
Unfortunately, an experienced team is absolutely not what I got by any means. Least of all one experience in renovating ‘50s bathroom. Instead it was a one guy more concerned being "made supervisor because he had been with the company since it opened,” which by the way was a grand total of ONE YEAR, and showed me photos of much more “high end bathrooms” than mine that he had been doing. Also with him was an older gentleman who was still in training. Neither looked over the job site, they did not make any notes about what they may need to do, and went headlong into it.
Skipping over some of the other red flags, when I came in to check out the bathroom after they had left for the day, I noted they had cut out a swathe of tile that wasn’t suppose to be removed because, as the sales rep had pointed out, the wall vent would be in the way of installing the Jacuzzi panels. One of them had clearly used a Sharpie to mark the wall, so I knew these tiles were cut out intentionally with disregard to the vent below it. When I asked about it the next day, he first lied to me saying “like it says in the contract, sometimes tiles fall out when we are working.” When I pointed out he clearly had marked them to be cut out, he then admitted that he hadn’t taken into account the wall vent.
When they were finished, he tried to rush me into signing off on the completed job, but before doing so I told him he had to make note that there was tile that needed to be repaired. He wrote on the paperwork he would talk to his supervisor (“Dean”) about replacing them. I signed off after that.
I did not hear from them for about a week before my initial phone call. I talked to their office who told me the supervisor was in a meeting and they would have him call me back by the end of the week. I also asked them to send me the lifetime warranty information since the guys who did my bathroom forgot to bring “the folder” with them for my job site both days and sent me a poorly snapped picture of the paperwork.
End of the week comes, no call. I call twice the next week and still no response. I contact the sales rep, who says he will get someone to call me by the end of the day. Nothing. Text saying I haven’t heard anything and am left on read.
This is clearly the remodelers fault and is not accidental damage from installing.
