Jackson Needs Better Partners. Giact Issue Made Simple Withdrawal Nearly Impossible
I recently attempted to make a direct deposit from my Jackson account into Chase. Everything was completed correctly and verified by a Chase bank manager, yet Jackson’s verification partner, Giact, flagged the request as “not matching.”
Giact sent me a letter stating that I had 20 days to request a consumer report explaining why the transfer was blocked. They provided an email to contact, but when I replied, I later discovered a bounce-back message in spam saying that the email was inactive. Because of this, I unknowingly missed the deadline and lost access to information I should have been able to review. Instead of transparency, the process ran me in circles.
I expect better from Jackson. Partnering with a company whose communication fails and whose systems block legitimate transactions reflects poorly on them. What should have been a simple deposit has now turned into a lengthy withdrawal process requiring a medallion stamp and additional hurdles all because of an unreliable third-party partner.
Jackson may not be directly responsible for Giact’s issues, but choosing to work with them ultimately impacts the customer. I hope Jackson re-evaluates this partnership or, at the very least, offers a clearer, more customer-friendly process moving forward.
