Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the warranty, frequently finding that claims were rejected due to various exclusions like "wear and tear" or servicing outside specific parameters. People also reported issues with the service, describing it as unhelpful and difficult to navigate, with some expressing concerns about the frequency of claim denials. The product itself, often an extended warranty, was widely considered a waste of money, as it failed to cover essential repairs, leaving consumers with unexpected costs. Reviewers also felt the price paid for these warranties did not reflect the limited coverage received. However, some customers also noted that their warranty claims were approved quickly, with one reviewer highlighting excellent service and a substantial claim approval within 48 hours.

Great staff but terrible policy just got a 4 year warranty April last year and it’s already been shut down by them because of the 6 month servicing with no refund what an absolute joke this company is a scam

One star because I can't rate zero…

One star because I can't rate zero stars. This company is beyond shady.

They covered less than one-fifth of our repair bill for timing chain and coolant pump related issues. Fluids aren't covered even though they're an important part of any repair job. They also only cover a portion of the workshop's hourly labor cost, and don't have it written anywhere how much labour they will cover, this is arbitrarily decided when you make a claim.

When the vehicle was ready to pick up, I was advised that integrity/iwarranty/extended dealer services company only makes payments on Tuesdays and Fridays, as such, I wouldn't be able to pick up the car for another three days because the Monday 12pm cutoff was missed in order for the workshop to receive a Tuesday payment.

In the six months between us purchasing the warranty and needing to make a claim, our warranty was sold to a separate company (Extended dealer services), and we weren't notified that this had happened, only finding out when we called the previous company (iWarranty / Integrity).

Please save yourself the headache and don't fall for this companies false promises. The name "Integrity" is a front, they operate with 0 integrity.

Never again will I get an extended warranty

Such a bad experience.
Warranty was purchased at a Toyota dealer, we were “encouraged” to buy it without all the basic information, were told it would cover everything. Well it didn’t. And for them to start communicating I had to put a complaint on Product Review!!!! After a lot of really painful conversations we finally got a refund on our warranty payment due to incompetence during the sales process and failure to supply all the information.
Communication only happened once I place a bad review on their site.
We have now had the work completed on our vehicle and everything is working.
The invoice had to reworked as they charge more if it goes through unintegrity.
So they give the selling over to the dealers, they do their best to avoid any payouts by having front line telephone peeps who have absolutely no technical knowledge and read from a script. They only act further if you complain on their website.
Never again will I buy an add on warranty.

Iwarranty dissatisfaction

Hi,

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience regarding my claim for our Toyota 86 and the process of dealing with your Integrity insurance.

When we originally purchased the car, the salesman at the dealership strongly recommended the extra Integrity warranty, assuring us that it would provide peace of mind in case anything happened to the vehicle.

Unfortunately, my recent attempt to claim a fault with our Toyota through Integrity Co. has not lived up to those assurances.

Specifically, the issue involved the brake booster—a well-known concern with 2013-2014 Toyota models that, as you are probably aware, was never subject to a recall.

That’s why we decided to use the Integrity warranty, trusting it would cover us for this type of problem. However, it turned out to be the vacuum pump integrated with the brake booster, and the claim was denied on technical grounds.

This left me with the impression that, like many other insurance companies, the policy finds ways to exclude coverage and leaves the customer without real support, despite the policy clearly stating it covers the brake booster.

Out of frustration, I reached out to the original dealer and shared my experience, advising them not to recommend or sell the Integrity Warranty or encourage customers to purchase additional coverage, as I found it to be a waste of both time and money.

I feel it’s important to share this feedback not only with you but also with the wider community, so I plan to post about my experience on social media to help inform other customers.

Very keen to take your money but not keen to provide the coverage they promise. I attempted to claim for a blocked and broken intake manifold within a month of purchasing the vehicle. I was told that the fault is not covered sighting normal ware and tare. Later I was advised I was in breach of warranty for servicing the car 2,000km past the service due milage. They'll do anything to get out of paying for repairs.

When you purchase this warranty, the dealer will brand as "factory warranty". But when you try to make a claim, the item will be classified as not covered as they will always find an excuse to deny this claim.

In short, do not buy it no matter how hard your dealer tries to sell

I purchased a 12-month extended…

I purchased a 12-month extended warranty from my warranty on a used car that I bought thinking piece of mind I would be covered for things if anything went wrong. I've always uploaded any service that I've add done on the car. I have called them a few times regarding issues with the car thinking it would be covered under warranty and I'm told no it's not so I've been out of pocket every single time.. more recently my headlight right indicator stays on so I paid to have an auto electrician diagnose it and I paid for the parts turns out it now needs a BCM replacement which I've now organized and booked in. Thinking surely the computer to my car would be covered under this extended warranty. I then get informed no it's not covered being so frustrated that I've paid for 12 months of an extended warranty and I have not yet been able to claim one thing on it seems to be very similar to junk insurance.

Of course keeping in mind that these extended warranty fraudsters make up these warranties to benefit them and not the consumer..

So I highly do not recommend I warranty or integrity or whatever they like to change their name to for other fraudulent activities and ripping customers off moving forward.

Too bad there are no NEGATIVE stars

Too bad there are no NEGATIVE stars. That would be more appropriate. Whatever you do please don't fall for the car dealer's line about this warranty. I was sold a warranty the equivalent of a new car warranty. First claim was approved at less than 30% of the repair quote. I asked them to point out what was excluded as per the contract. No response. I filed as dispute as per their dispute policy. No response. I have filed a complaint against the dealer for selling a product that is not fit for purpose. I'm doing the review now so people don't fall for it. Here is where it has failed significantly: 1) "Your claim will be assessed by Integrity within 4 hours of receiving all the required information" - took 3 weeks and my constant chasing. 2) "Up to the Market Value of the Vehicle per claim" - Not true - less than 30% approved. 3) File a complaint - "you will hear from Integrity’s Internal Disputes Officer within 20 business days of making your complaint". Not true - Never respond. Their contract means nothing. They sell it so you have "peace of mind". This has been nothing but stress and to think I dropped $10,000 for this headache. Really do your research before parting with your money.

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour

My sister recently purchased her first car and was stoked to be driving around in it. She worked very hard at her job in daycare and used her hard earned money to buy herself a nice car.

The dealership recommended getting an extended warranty with iwarranty. Thus far it has been an absolute nightmare. She has had a timing chain replacement, a head gasket leak (which was ruled as wear and tear), now a fuel pump failure and missing compression in 2 cylinders. All in less than a year. I have written multiple emails about these to iwarranty and they have been less than helpful. My sister has spent well over five thousand dollars on all of these repairs so far and is looking at much more to completely rectify the fuel pump and compression issues.

All iwarranty has said they would provide is under 2k for a used fuel pump. And if we want a new fuel pump, tough luck. We cant even find a mechanic willing to put a used fuel pump in. What does that say about iwarranty's business practices? What an absolutely disgraceful way to treat a young girl who has already had such a rough time of things. Would recommend anyone who listens to turn and run the other way. Iwarranty absolutely will not have your back.

Stay clear of this warranty company!

Bought a second-hand car in September last year, and we got the highest level of warranty, knowing we were buying a second-hand car. 120Kms on the odometer, thought we were buying a good car. The "globe spark" as I understand, had an issue a month ago. We spoke with our mechanic, who assessed the car and put the claim in for us to Integrity. He was told he was "too excessive" in his quote. My mechanic doesn't over-charge I know that for a fact so that was interesting.

I called to enquire and was told "that part isn't covered". Bit strange being told two separate stories! Doesn't give you confidence buying second-hand cars at all if you can't know you're covered or what the story is - No point if it's not all covered and you buy "the top" warranty, which was over $1.5K. Big waste.

A few days later after this, the car broke down, and neither our warranty nor insurance could cover us, setting us back $500 in towing fees. Stings a bit when you're just burning cash!

And further, it's quite concerning seeing this Facebook page "Integrity Car Care Extended Car Warranty SCAM Exposed"
And with over 600 followers - Tad concerning!

One star rating here and a caution to anyone else buying a second-hand car, where there's smoke, there's fire, and I'm seeing plenty of smoke! Check with your dealership which warranty company they're providing you with, and consider veering away from here, respectfully.

I made a claim with iWarranty after 4 months of ownership for issues with the aircon, coilovers, and lower arm support.
Unfortunately, the claims were declined based on “age” and “wear and tear.”

This makes me question what is actually covered under the policy, as many vehicle parts naturally age and wear. The coverage feels very limited compared to expectations at the time of purchase.

Honestly, this warranty feels totally garbage, scam and a complete waste of money.

I’m disappointed with the outcome and would suggest others carefully read the exclusions before purchasing.

Integrity Car Care rips off customers

Integrity Car Care has ripped of thousands of customers Australia wide working in conjunction with selected car dealerships and selected car workshops to sell this useless product. This company should be reported to the ACCC & ASIC for breaches of the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) due to the deceptive and false & misleading statements by their Authorised Representative car salesman selling this worthless extended car warranty. We have created a Facebook support group for victims of this business search: ‘Integrity Car Care Extended Car Warranty’ for support and information.

Integrity has no integrity

Integrity has no integrity. They just don't want to pay for warranty. Find any excuse to deny the warranty. Additionally waste of money and time to go to the few dodgy mechanics nominated by them. The mechanics they nominate might steal parts from your car as they do not want you to see what they are doing when they work with your car.

Worst iWarranty Experience

My experience with iWarranty has been absolutely terrible from start to finish. I bought their mechanical warranty expecting peace of mind, but when my car actually broke down, they were nowhere to be found.

For three days straight, I tried calling their claims team. Every time I selected the option for a new claim, the phone system would hang up on me. No one answered, no support, no guidance, nothing.

Because they never picked up the phone, I had to pay an authorised mechanic to diagnose the issue myself. The problem was clearly related to essential engine components, yet this warranty company still refuses to take responsibility. To make things worse, the part needed is not even available in Australia due to the car being an import, something both the dealer and iWarranty should have disclosed before selling me this useless warranty.

When I finally requested to cancel the warranty, they informed me there would be no refund for the remaining unused period — even though I still have 2.2 years left. That is outrageous. I paid for peace of mind and received absolutely nothing in return.

This company has ripped me off. Their service is non-existent, their coverage is misleading, and their attitude towards customers is unacceptable.

My honest advice: DO NOT buy any warranty from iWarranty.
Save your money, save your time, and save yourself the stress. I wish I had never signed up with them.
