I wish I had found this clinic sooner.
I had done 5 rounds of IVF in the UK at multiple clinics before I found Serum IVF. None of those rounds worked. I had multiple miscarriages and failed IVFs. Serum IVF were like a breath of fresh air. It's the first clinic that I've been to that treats you like a person, not a number. It feels like one big family. No matter your question someone at Serum IVF will always answer. They really do care about making your dream come true and helping you grow your family.
If you're looking for a clinic but not sure which to use I strongly recommend having a chat with Serum IVF.

After years of miscarriages, failed ivf in both Spain and London I met the amazing Penny Abatzi of Serum clinic at a London fertility show. I was shattered and broken and had all but given up hope when she looked me dead in the eye and said that she would give me a baby. That was November 2015, fast forward one year (almost to the day) and I am in hospital preparing for a cesarian to give birth to my daughter. I don’t know where to begin with how easy serum made the conception of my child (after years and years of heartache) and how much she held my hand through the entire process. Always at the end of the phone or available for email reassurance she was a mother figure and miracle worker all at the same time. Our daughter is now six years old and is the light of our lives. I meet people from time to time who have also had babies thanks to Serum. All of them tell a similar story. Thank you Serum from the bottom of my (and all of our) hearts, you have changed our lives. What a legacy to give the world, to bring hope of parenthood where none existed before. I highly recommend this clinic.

I don’t even know where to begin…
We came across Serum after having 4 failed rounds in the UK, going abroad for treatment can be quite daunting and scary but I can assure you that serum made this such a breeze for us and everything fell into place.

Our first consultation was with the lovely Sofia over Skype where we went through everything including history and Sofia advised us on what the next steps would be should we choose to go ahead.

Sofia advised that I have a hysteroscopy with implantation cuts and my husband was to be put on a sperm protocol - this was in February… fast forward 3 months I am now nearly 5 weeks pregnant from out 1st round at Serum.

We cannot thank the team enough especially Sofia! The care me and my husband received under Sofia was the best and communication was excellent throughout the hole treatment.

Serum never made me feel like the treatment was about money it was always what was in my best interest and an explanation to everything that they wanted to do was always given.

Sofia was very thorough with all our testing and always, always popped her head in even for just routine scans which the nurses undertake.

Please, please put your full trust in Serum like we did.. they will make your dreams come true.

Serum is clinically thorough, organised and compassionate - the three things you need in an IVF clinic. We are grateful to them for taking us seriously, getting to the heart of things that had been missed elsewhere and helping us have a very precious first daughter.

Truly AMAZING. I came to serum after having unsuccessful IVF attempts in the UK . The care I received from serum has been outstanding ,worlds apart from what I experienced in the UK . They do the more comprehensive testing which the uk clinics don’t do as a standard approach . This gives peace of mind that there isn’t anything wrong with you and if anything was picked up as an issue they have the access/facilities to get that resolved .

The biggest difference I found and one which meant so much is the fundamental essence of serum which is the IVF is done with absolute care and love . The essence of love shines through and the creation of the child is done with clinical care expertise as well as real care and love. I never felt cared for in the uk or that there’s was any commitment / intent to help me reach my goal. I felt very much on a production line . It’s the opposite experience when dealing with serum . I knew when I met Penny and the clinical staff that I could finally let go and hand them my Batten. I was weary and losing hope . I knew that if I could have a baby these were the people to do it for me . There was real relief knowing I could relinquish control and responsibility and hand my quest over . For the first time in my IVF experience I was able to let go and have complete trust . I knew I could totally trust Penny with my donor selection . I felt safe for the first time too . Communication really helps ease any anxieties when going through IVF and I found the communication exceptional with serum .

My only regret is I didn’t go to serum to try using my own eggs and wasted a lot of time in the uk. I think I was slightly daunted by managing scans in the uk and travel to Greece whilst managing work however once I actually committed to the travel (by committing to serum ) I found it easy . I found flights leaving pretty much daily from Budget airlines and got an air b and b near the clinic and walked there . There’s also plenty of places in the uk that can do scans and they email the results so you can send to Penny for analysis . I paid £130 a scan . Plus Athens is a great little city and we got used to the metro so would pop into central Athens for dinner etc .

Serum is very special and I am delighted that I am now pregnant and a strong heartbeat seen . I think I am still in shock it’s worked and I can’t tell you what it was like that day I saw that second line pop up on the pregnancy test .

Sometimes in life you meet special people and where your destined to be , Penny and her clinical team are truly special people . You know it when you meet them . They are truly gods helping hands . They are not just the mechanics of IVF , they have the integrity of love running throughout it all and that you can’t buy , it just exists there .

I will always be eternally grateful, no words can truly describe how hard IVF can be and the grief you experience unless you’ve been through it , but to go through hell and keep walking , to then find a place like serum where you just know you will get the help you need , the oasis of ivf , to then be successful , it’s beyond words .

Serum made my dream of becoming a mother a reality. I had talked for years about doing IVF as a single mother and from the moment I first spoke with Sofia I knew i was in good hands everyone at the clinic made me feel so calm and welcome and made my journey as stress free as possible. I am now on my first pregnancy journey and there really are no words to say how grateful I am to everyone at the clinic for helping me on my journey especially Sofia, from completing the paperwork to my medication to travel and accommodation they were all amazing. IVF Serum were really knowledgeable and diagnosed an underlying condition that caused my fertility. I spent years trying to get pregnant but only after getting treatment from Serum was I able to achieve my dream of being a mother.

Everyone at serum was so helpful and kind. There was no barrier of the white coat. They was empathy and warmth. A very different experience from the uk clinic we tried. We first met with Penny in June via FaceTime and then we were pregnant in Oct and now have our wonderful baby boy. The clinic staff were great throughout with help with travel and also with all the paperwork needed. Every doctor and nurse we met really engaged with us and really had hope for us and tried their best to take the stress away from us. We felt very safe in their hands. I highly recommend contacting Serum as it’s such a unique clinic.

We are forever grateful to penny and her amazing team at serum. We had 5 unsuccessful attempts at IVF in the uk, Liverpool, Manchester then after researching the internet reprofit and finally serum. Serum was the best by far. Forward thinking, compassionate, outstanding care. Penny helped us to have our two miracle children who are now 10 and 5. We are just sorry we didn’t go there at the beginning and that would have saved us thousands of pounds as well as years of heartache. We wouldn’t recommend any other clinic. We had almost given up hope of becoming parents and penny gave us that hope.

I definitely recommend this clinic, after many years with lots of treatments in other clinics where I never seen a positive pregnancy test, I find Serum and from there I get my first positive test ever … know I’m holding my miracle in my arms, and still can’t believe he is here…with me,

I would highly recommend Serum. They did more research that my old clinic and wanted to make sure everything had been looked at before starting any treatment. As a result I had a Hysteroscopy and found out I had an infection. We got a antibiotic treatment plan for that and following we had an IVF treatment a few months later. That's turning out to be my first successful treatment and I'm expecting in April 2023. Prior to that I had 5 IUI, 2 IVF and 1 FET.

My husband and I have been trying to conceive a child for over 3 years. We started IVF 1.5 years ago with a Clinic in Ireland which we had no success with . After we failed to get pregnant with this clinic we decided to have a consultation with serum and we are so happy we did. Serum were amazing , so kind , efficient and compassionate. Everything ran so smoothly. Honestly there is nothing negative I could say about Serum. They really want you to succeed and really care, unlike the previous Clinic we were with , where I Just felt like another number. Penny and her team were absolutely amazing. Our experience in the UK had been horrific and we were very nervous but the whole team put us at ease. You made a hard journey a lot easier and put our minds at ease every step of the way. Our bundle of joy arrived last week after our first time trying IVF. We are over the moon and can not thank you enough.
