I was on a 10 day Mediterranean cruise…

I was on a 10 day Mediterranean cruise July 15,2023- July 25,2023 from Rome.I had a connecting flight with Ita Airlines via Amsterdam and ended up with no luggage for my whole trip. Ita Airlines has offered no compensation. I've only received my last piece of luggage today August 12,2023 Very bad customer service no communication whatsoever if I didn't call or check the Baggage tracer website I wouldn't have gotten my bags back.

Useless Shambolic Excuse of an Airline - AVOID!

This is the newest reiteration of Alitalia - to be avoided at all costs. Instead of our 4 PM flight from Catania to Heathrow (via Milan) they cancelled this without explanation and pushed us into the 1.20 PM flight, meaning we were forced to hang around Milan Linate airport for 4.5 hours. No compensation or other options. We were told in Catania that we needed to check with Milan if they could put us on an alternative earlier airline, yet when we got to Milan they said only Catania could do it. Rubbish excuse for an airline - so disorganized, no wonder their predecessor went bust.

Call to change flight. App does nothing.

Only way to change or cancel flights is by calling them. Take long time for one to answer and sometimes few attempts. Brand new airline after Alitalia bankruptcy but they just work in the same way. Terrible customer service. Very old style. Planes are just like many other European airlines but the management and online service are very far from being descent.

Tragic Customer Service

Tragic customer service. I kept trying to request a refund due to missing my flight because of COVID, and they kept ignoring my emails (they later told me they do not even look at email responses!!). On the phone, they kept directing me from one person to the next, and only 1 in 6 customer service representatives I spoke to could speak English (reminder that this is an international airline and my flight was neither from nor to Italy). After spending days trying to get hold of them through several email addresses and phone numbers, they told me that I am not entitled to a refund or even a voucher(!) because my testing date did not perfectly align with my flight date. In the end, they agreed to return the airport taxes to me, which was about 20% of the total ticket price. Based on my recent experience with them, I would not even count on ever seeing that money. Alitalia was already bad, but this is a disgrace.
