I used Intersecure a couple of years ago (around 2023) to buy antivirus licences and at the time everything was fine. The prices were good and I received my licence without any problems.

Recently I tried to go back to the website and it no longer seems to be working. The site doesn’t load properly and it looks like the business may no longer be operating. I can’t find any clear update about what’s happened.

It’s a shame because my earlier experience was positive. I’m leaving this review just to let others know that the website appears to be inactive now, so it’s worth checking carefully before trying to place an order.

Terrible service and the company director is a huge racist. I’m Muslim and refused my service and refund stating “all you Muslims are a threat to my people”

Simple installation and great price

I have been a customer of Intersecure for the past 10 years. A few days ago, I wanted to purchase a Mcafee total protection for £17.75. when i went to checkout to pay by PAPAL, it said there were issues and use an alternative method of payment. The problem it does not give you an option. Tried to use the online chat and waited for 7 minutes, when they said they will come back to me. No response was received. They say they don't have a telephone line because of COVID. COVID has come and gone over 3 years ago. Extremely disappointed with the service.

Having purchased McAfee licence from Intersecure for several years, this time their website would not let me pay with PayPal and despite numerous messages to them via the online chat they never responded. Therefore I eventually purchased elsewhere.

Credit card payment option has been removed. Paypal option continually shows an error message.
Emails to the info@ address are not being responded to.
Online chat is always busy with no operators available.
Used this company successfully for 4 years. Not sure what has happened this year.
I'll stick with Windows Defender.

I have just tried to renew my subscription of McAfee Livesafe only to discover that you can only use Paypal.
I have used the company for nearly 8 years and up until now, without issue. I don't use PayPal now, after they changed their T&C's with fines up to $2,500. Reading other reviews, I assume that business is so good that they don't care about some losses!

Wow, What the hells gone wrong?
I've used Intersecure for 9-10 years now and always had good service, (Not withstanding the mix up over license delivery, should have been e-mail, but was in my account), but now it seems to have gone down hill
Firstly I could only pay by PayPal and not Mastercard. When I queried this via their chat, I got no reply.
While I was waiting for their 'chat' to get back to me, I browsed their reviews and now maybe I'm glad I did
Sense & sensibility, says I should purchase from somewhere else.

I have been using my internet security software from InterSecure for several years. Recently, i wanted to contact them, without success, I see they dont take calls due to covid! Also, no reply to emails!
Unsure about the standard of the products, when my McAfee identifies an issue, to action the issue it inevitable leads me to an additional cost screen around £25!

Everything is up to date and a lot cheaper than buying it from mcafee, I buy mine from inter secure every time because I trust them to provide me with a great service easy to find what you want and I'm very satisfied with the way they keep me informed.

I have used InterSecure for a number of years and never been let down.
As usual a good buy from a reliable company

Ordered a software renewal licence code, which they promise to email within 2 hours or 2 days at the absolute maximum.

Guess what, after 3 days they never delivered or acknowledged my requests regarding failed delivery.

Thankfully I used PayPal and was refunded immediately.

DO NOT USE!!! Something very strange happening with this Company. I have purchased from this Company for many years and never had any problem previously but when l purchased online to renew again the download never arrived. Still got a invoice to confirm saying Licence in the way but then nothing! Tried ringing Intersecure ... phone answers 'welcome to Intersecure' but when you try the different options, call goes through to a different company who don't even know who intersecure are. Money has gone out of my Bank account but got a temporary dispute refund til investigated. Not sure if Intersecure are in liquidation or have been hacked but definitely advise not to use now.

Having dealt very successfully with Intersecure for several years, I had no hesitation in using them again. However, when my digital download did not arrive promptly as before, I took a look at recent reviews on here - oh dear! It would appear that there are plenty of people in the same situation, having attempted to contact the company with no response whatsoever. Such a shame when a previously reliable firm goes to pot...
Thankfully, PayPal issued an immediate refund.

Good price for security. The only gripe is you say you will follow with an email to activate the protection but that doesn't come but I found it can be done by logging in to my account, it would be helpful if this was made clearer in the first place.

Ordered Avg, it never arrived, I emailed, I called twice and used online chat and was completely ignored so after 5weeks did a charge back. Shame as I am a long standing customer . Never again!
