Took over 20 weeks to receive my sectional. You all suck! Never shopping with you again. Terrible! Avoid this company at all costs!

As others have noted, Interior Define's production and delivery estimates are misleading. To make matters worse, I haven't been able to reach a real customer service representative. I received an automated response stating that someone would follow up within 2-3 business days, but it's now been over a week with no response.
I ordered my couch on May 3, 2026, and my current estimated delivery window is October 1-15, 2026. At the time of purchase, the estimated lead time was 8-12 weeks. If the current estimate holds, it will have taken over five months to receive a couch that was originally estimated to arrive in no more than three months, nearly doubling the original timeline. And that's assuming there aren't any further delays.
I completely understand that delays happen, especially with made-to-order furniture. My frustration isn't with the delays themselves, but with the lack of transparency and communication. If the realistic lead time is five or six months, that should be communicated upfront so customers can make an informed decision and plan accordingly. Instead, the company advertises significantly shorter timelines and then repeatedly pushes back delivery dates after the order has been placed.
After reading through many of the reviews, it appears that my experience is far from unique. If delays and communication issues like these have become a recurring pattern, continuing to advertise 8-12 week lead times is misleading and prevents customers from making informed purchasing decisions.
At this point, I believe it would be reasonable for Interior Define to refund my delivery fee and provide a partial courtesy refund to acknowledge the significant delay and lack of communication. More than anything, I'd simply like honest communication and a realistic timeline.
What concerns me most is that if there are any issues with the couch once it finally arrives, I have very little confidence that I'll be able to reach someone or receive timely support. After months of delays and unsuccessful attempts to contact customer service, it's difficult to trust that any post-purchase problems will be handled any better.
I'm hopeful the couch will ultimately be worth the wait, but based on my experience so far, the purchasing process has been extremely disappointing.

Think twice before ordering from Interior Define: 8+ months in and I still don't have a usable couch
I want to share my experience so others can go in with eyes open, because I wish someone had warned me.
I ordered a couch from Interior Define last November. I knew custom furniture takes a while, so I was patient... but it took a full 6 months to arrive. Okay, fine. Long, but survivable.
Then it showed up with faulty cushions. They were dramatically softer than the floor model I sat on in the showroom. Like, sink-to-the-frame soft, nothing like what I paid for. When I reached out, the burden of proof was on me: I had to physically haul the cushions into the store to demonstrate they were too soft compared to the display unit.
They agreed to replace them... and the target delivery date for the cushion replacement is now at at least 4 months. And that date keeps slipping. Every time I check in, it's pushed back again.
So to recap: I ordered a couch in November and by the time this is (maybe) resolved, I'll have waited close to a year for the product I actually paid for.
My advice: do not order from Interior Define unless you're prepared for a 6-month-to-1-year timeline, the possibility of receiving a defective product, and doing the legwork yourself to get it fixed. !!!!

Wait time is completely unreasonable. I order a custom couch in early April, was told 8-12 weeks, and had an estimated delivery date of mid-July. In June I checked online the status and saw the delivery date got pushed to mid/late August and the couch status was still in production, but when I reached out asking why the delay, I was given some templated response about port/shipping issues, but the couch is in production? Fast forward to today, I go online again to check the status, and the delivery date is now for mid/late September! 5 mos to receive a couch? Additionally, they have turned off their email updates letting people know their orders are delayed so you have to check and follow up yourself. My guess is the company is dealing with some major internal issues. I would avoid for now until there is more transparency around what is going on.

I placed an order on March 21, 20026, with an expected lead time of 8 to 12 weeks. Throughout this process, communication from Interior Define has been nonexistent; I have had to proactively log into the website just to receive basic status updates. My order has now been significantly delayed until September. To make matters worse, their cancellation policy imposes an unreasonable 50% fee for an order they failed to deliver on time. Very disappointed in the lack of transparency and service.

I have had a similar experience to many others here. I placed my order in March with an original estimated delivery in the first week of June. The delivery date has been consistently pushed back and is now mid-August, more than 20 weeks since I originally placed the order. The most frustrating part is a total lack of response from the Company - I had to reach out multiple times and eventually call a store to get customer service to respond. When they did they apologized for the delay but offered no explanation. Since then, it has been delayed two more times and I’ve gotten zero response when inquiring again. I’m not one to write bad reviews, but this whole experience has been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend ordering from here.

I bought multiple furniture items in a black Friday sale and I didn’t receive the items until June. I think the amount of time that this order took is beyond what’s reasonable for this day and age on top of that I didn’t feel the quality really fit the amount of time that I had to wait for these pieces to be custom built. The delivery process was a nightmare. I had major issues with the delivery company canceling a delivery the day of after not communicating to me their issue and then losing a package and then it taking more than four weeks to find the package and have it delivered. I barely made my deadline and it was very stressful. I will say interior find did refund me for some of the inconvenience of the delivery but again after waiting more than six months for all of my order, I felt like this was ridiculous, and I would probably not purchase from interior finding again in the future because of it.

I bought my dream sectional after saving for years and 9 months later the sectional had beige powder on the floor between the corner piece and sectional. I swept it up and then a day or so later there was more. I googled and it said it might be powderpost bugs!!! 😳 it said to check for a small 1/5-1/8 burrowing hole … I got as flashlight and there it was on the bottom corner of the corner piece the hole. I press lightly and it poofed out the same beige powder!!!!! I immediately emailed interior define company . They have been going back and forth with me for a week!!!! They are basically telling me they are not going to fix the issue. Even though it’s been less than 1 year!!! Their furniture has BUGS!!!! Do not waste your money!!!! Do not buy from them!!!! They will sell you bug infested furniture!!! And give you the run around! And not help you!!! Your dream???? Will turn into a nightmare!!!!!

I ordered a sofa and a chair on February 16 with an 8-12 week delivery window. I am still waiting on both pieces. The expected date has changed at least 6 times in the last month. I have received conflicting information from Interior Define's online support (no live people are available) and their warehouses. Once I finally reached out and insisted on a human to provide a real update, all of a sudden the sofa had been processed and was ready to schedule. Turns out it had been at the facility for a month! No one can speak to where the chair is and no effort is being made to track it down or provide a partial refund. I had seen the horrible reviews but this is worse than I realized. There is no way the furniture can be great enough to make the amount of work I have had to put in this week trying to get reliable information from them and their partners worth it.

Quality, hip furniture, and a reasonable price. But my experiences how incredibly helpful they were. My swivel chair that I love broke. I did not get the extended warranty and it was over four years old. Went back-and-forth with a person named Alfie from interior define. She worked it out for me and my beautiful wheelchair was fixed. I can't say enough about this company. Should really check them out.

I placed an order for two sofas on 12/31/25. I picked out the fabric on 2/1. The sofas should have arrived in early May at the absolute latest. It is now 6/30/26 and the delivery date has been pushed back AGAIN to late July. I am very worried that the company will file for bankruptcy and I will not receive my items. I am desperate to get two sofas in my home. Customer service is not helpful at all. I do not believe that my items have been help up at the port since April like customer service has repeatedly told me.

Update 7/1: It’s funny you are responding here. I have been emailing your support team for over a week and haven’t had a single response. Please answer my emails so we can actually resolve this! Either way, I gave you the order number information you requested so I’ll be interested to see if this goes anywhere.
Ordered in early January. Wrong furniture was delivered in April. Multiple weeks of emails back and forth with their support team because they refuse to pick up the phone and call me. Replacement order was made and going to take another 8 weeks, but they promised to "expedite it". When I just looked, it was pushed back ANOTHER 12 weeks. We're looking at 9 months to get a single couch and slip cover, and I'm not confident it will even come by September. Zero transparency, no accountability, and still, no resolution.

I ordered in February and have not received my banquette. Almost every week the delivery date gets pushed back.
They have refunded me my shipping fee and a courtesy amount... but it's been going on 6 months and I would prefer to have my furniture over a refund.
I'm not hopeful that I will ever get my furniture, and at this point I am considering cancelling the order.
I will never order from this company again and caution all not to.

Ordered corner sectional on 2/14/26 with 8-12 week delivery time. On 4/14 received email stating it was on its way with a mid to late May delivery. On 4/18 I went on their website to see if there was any update and delivery had now moved to 6/9-6/16. Reached out via their contact form to express my dissatisfaction. Received reply 4/19 that a shipping setback had occurred. I exchanged several emails with them and requested transit milestones. I was told I would receive an email when it got to their LA Distribution Center, and was encouraged to continue checking the Order Status Page on their website. Given the war's disruption to shipping, I was understanding at first, but by May 29 when I saw dates had changed once again, I reached out and was told that Your order is currently in fulfillment and is expected to arrive between 6/14-6/21. "The good news is that your order is being shipped to you now. You can track your shipment using your Metropolitan tracking number." I went on Metropolitan's site and saw that it was registered on 5/19 but no further info.
I again contacted them to find out what fulfillment actually meant and received the following reply:
"When your order is “in fulfillment,” it means your sofa has finished production and is now in the shipping process. Here’s what happens step by step from this point:
1.Your sofa is prepared for shipment and handed off to our delivery partner, Metropolitan.
2.Metropolitan transports your order to your local delivery hub.(Mine is in Perth Amboy, NJ)
3.Once your sofa arrives at the local hub, Metropolitan will contact you directly to schedule your in-home delivery at a date and time that works for you.
4. On the scheduled day, Metropolitan will deliver and set up your sofa in your home.
Continuing to monitor delivery dates throughout June they continually changed, once or twice a week.
However, on June 18th after their lack of proactive communication and numerous emails I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and filed a dispute with my credit card company which are both still in place. I have had numerous communications since that date, and was told
"Currently, your order has not yet been picked up by Metropolitan from the port." Which port? LA or NY/NJ? I initially wanted to cancel the order for a full refund, and have tried to work with them since to see if I could even pick it up myself. The customer service rep promised several times to check with Metropolitan, but still hadn't. I contacted them myself on 6/25 and was told that they have never even received it from Interior Define.
I asked if they had a contact person at Interior Define and was given the name of someone who hasn't been with the company since January. So that means the May 19th registered date was authorized by someone no longer with the company.
After discovering this, I escalated the situation with Customer Support on Friday, 6/26 and sent email to customer service and their trade department and to Havenly corporate since they are one of their brands. I am now requesting that they waive the delivery fee completely and compensate me for the continual delays. No one has yet responded. Apparently, they really do not care about their customers. If they did care, they would be more forthcoming about problems/delays. Current estimate as of today says "Estimated delivery: 7/9/2026 - 7/16/2026. It now hasn't changed in several days.
At this moment, I am still willing to wait, provided they offer the refund and compensation. I also would rather have them deliver, rather than pick up since it would take considerable time, effort and expense to do so. I'd prefer to have the sofa after waiting so long, but am prepared to proceed with the cancellation, especially after not receiving any response from Interior Define. Sad that the company has gone downhill, since I had purchased a sleeper sofa from them in the past without any issue.
UPDATE (7/1/26): Dates slipped again to 7/14-7/21. Your reply says you're calling the manufacturer, which contradicts your 4/18 email stating my order was on the way, and your 6/29 explicitly admitting to an "administrative hold" with the carrier, Metropolitan. Why are you contacting a manufacturer for an item you claimed shipped over two months ago? Stop giving me the runaround. My bank confirmed that your claim that you attempted a $574 refund you agreed to is completely false. Today at 5:00 PM MST is your final deadline to provide the physical location of my sofa and mail a corporate check for the approved $574 refund, or my bank will finalize a full fraud chargeback. I will also take further steps with various State's Consumer Protection Bureaus.
UPDATE: JULY 3, 2026
Sent cancellation on 7/1 & filed complaints with Colorado, Illinois & NY Attorneys General.

Interior Define are flat out liars. We bought a couch from a local store, and were told by the Sales Associate to expect 4-6 weeks for delivery. We were then informed weeks after purchase that the actual expected delivery window was 10-16 weeks. We reported this to the customer service line who stated that the associate lied and said, "she would never tell a customer such a short delivery window." This was on top of Interior Define outwardly noting they would pass hundreds of dollars in delivery cost directly to the customer to supply chain issues. The company does not care about its customers and will not make any effort to help you. They just want your $ not your satisfaction.

Buyer beware with this company. I purchased a $4500 couch sectional in January of this year and am still waiting for delivery. I have been waiting six months to receive it and every week I look on line at the expected delivery window and they have pushed it back a week. The original delivery date provided was 8 to14 weeks. The current target is now late June, 26 weeks and counting. I’ve called them and emailed to ask for someone to assist, and receive form responses. They took a significant amount of money from me six months ago and I am still without a couch. Don’t let this happen to you.

In early December 2025 we ordered a sofa from Interior Define. June 1, 2026 the sofa arrived. When purchasing we were told it would be 8-10 weeks. Customer service had no ability to help in the process. No problems with the actual sofa but length of time for production and shipping and no help from customer service provided a very frustrating experience overall.

I emailed to check on the status of my order, and their reply email assured me they were “working on finding a solution to the issue.” I thought, I didn’t realize there was an “issue.” So I looked at the status online again and looked more closely at graphic to then realize the status shows Order Placed, not even In Production yet.
I tried their live chat, but when it found out I was inquiring about order status, it just directed me to their webpage (where I had already previously filled out the Contact form) and then ended the chat on me. It wouldn’t allow me to ask anything more. I tried phone numbers to a couple of their locations listed online, but said something to the equivalent of not in service/available.
I purchased an In Stock item so that I would receive it in approximately 2-4 weeks. I understand this is an estimate, but it’s now at 4 weeks in Order Placed status. I had actually referred them to my mother, also, who purchased two sofas from them. Now I’m worried I got us both scammed.

Exercise extreme caution when dealing with this company and the information they provide, particularly regarding delivery timelines. Delivery deadlines are consistently altered after orders are placed. Customer service representatives have been unhelpful and rude. As a business owner who has previously purchased from them, I must express my disappointment. While their merchandise is of good quality for its price, their ability to communicate and adhere to set delivery dates is lacking. Despite my efforts to contact a customer service representative due to another change to the delivery date for over three weeks now, I have not received a response with details why. As a B2B member, this service has been the most unsatisfactory I have encountered. If you do not have a deadline to meet, then this company may be suitable for you. However, if you have a deadline, you should seek an attentive company or be prepared to add four additional weeks for delivery at a minimum.
Update: Despite their response below, I have not received any further communication from the Customer Service department. The sofa has been delivered, but I have contacted them regarding two deliveries and have yet to receive a response regarding the refund process for one of the sofas. This has been the most unsatisfactory experience I have had with their service.
