I don't even want to give them 1 star

I don't even want to give them 1 star. I cancelled my subscription on March 14th and was still charged on April 5th. Not to mention, the only information they provided me with was the same information I found doing an online search. They had no new info for me and instead of the 95cent trial price. They charged me an additional 4.99 the same day and tried to charge an additional 35.30 and when that transaction didn't go through they tried a 34.55 charge. I cancelled my service with you Intelius. I have your email confirming my cancellation as well as a screenshot of your email so again, stop trying to charge me!

Regarding the charges, we want to clarify that all billing details, including automatic renewal terms, are clearly disclosed before any payment is submitted, and each user is required to explicitly agree to these terms before any charges are processed. The renewal charge occurred because the subscription was not cancelled within the first 5 days of the trial period, which triggered the automatic renewal as agreed to at the time of enrollment. The $4.99 charge was also agreed to separately at the time of purchase.

Patience

Your representative, Maria, was super patient with me. I am in my 80s and not very computer literate. She guided me through everything from even just getting to Google. My credit card has been compromised and she helped me substitute a new card. She really was terrific.

Worthless reports unless you are job or apartment managers

You charged me for 2 months vs the one month I registered for. Your report had ZERO information on my "lost" son past what I paid for in 2023 yet I know he is alive. You list too much information on family members on my son's report without our permission. phone numbers were about 10 years old.

When I called to cancel because of it being too expensive, I was given an opportunity to remain a customer for 11 dollars less a month and more benefits. How unethical can you get?
